Thanks for the visit. Congrats on finishing One Dozen Quakers, EJ! Lovely progress. I'm also having a lot of fun with the Holiday Countdown. Made a final (?) decision on colors for Put a Bird on It. 2025 may be a year of SALs for me, as I may start 4 of them! Happy stitching!
Deb - I love your tulip piece! Especially all the different fonts they used to have the word tulip scattered around the design! Wish I could find a chart of fonts just like those! Great finish on your Bake me a Quaker, EJ! I love the colors in Shelia's Seaside Sampler! Great video this week!
I wonder if for the cottagegarden threads if you bought the daydream collection. It had dusk and dreamer and two tonals. Regardless they are beautiful! EJ congrats on the well deserved finish!!
My dog's name is Ladybug and we call her LB for short. Well the grandbaby thinks her name is Abby so she runs around the house chasing the dog yelling Abby at the top of her lungs :D
Thanks for sharing. Interesting conversation on pumping gas. I live in Oregon. I want to update you. This year, we voted to have self-service and attendant pumping of gas. Every station has to have an attendant, but I can choose to pump my own if I wish. FYI ... I never wish to pump my own gas. The price of the gas is the same. I just thought you might like to know. Happy stitching and Merry Christmas.
I was coming on to say the same. Depending on where you live it isn't necessary to have an attendant at all times (or at all, in some cases). As to why we weren't able to pump our gas for so long-the people didn't want it. Funny story, we moved here about 32 years ago. My (now) ex and I had both grown up in states where we pumped our own gas. We pulled into a gas station fairly late in the evening on our long trip up here and were in a line waiting for gas. My ex was getting upset because no one was getting out to pump their own gas and it was taking too long. It wasn't until the next time we needed to get gas (after we loved her for a few days) that we found out we couldn't pump our gas. We have really gotten used to having someone else pump our gas and when we go on vacation and have to pump it, I will sit for a minute before I remember!
