Nicko is not a messy player he improvises but still sticks to the core structure of the song he plays mate. But well done covering the song. Besides Nicko expresses what he feels in the moment of play. And it doesn't take away from the song.
You can't really tell the difference between the cymbals in a live recording, you have to play filling, Nicko himself doesn't always play the song in the same way

I bought this kit 6 months ago in Holland, I was very lucky I had a good price, but the real price is 11 000 € (only drums without hardware), for cymbals stands, drum kick and hi hat stand it depend of models you choose my cymbal set Paiste 2002: 3000€ all cymbal stands: 500€ kick: 250€ hi hat & snare stand: 350€ Yes, it's very expansive but it's really great to play on it See You man !
Dude your kit is awesome! My only question (other from being probably super expensive) is why not also use all the cymbals that Nicko uses when you've already gone through the effort of recreating his entire setup?
I know...the 2002 setup was used by Nicko in 80's and 90's, he had many different cymbals setup, Color Sound, Signature, 2002, Rude, Dimension... and now Signature Reflector and maybe in some time for another tour he will have a new setup, I'm very happy with 2002 :-))
Here it's 2002 serie and sound very great, the signature sound is not better not worse, just a little bit different but it corresponds at McBrain and Maiden sound, ideal for a Maiden tribute :-)

How do you know which cymbals to use? The ability to pick up the difference from a 17, 18, 19, and 20 inch crash from a live recording is amazing
