  • Join me as I ride along and observe CFI Jon from Aurora Aviation as he provides flight instruction to a new Private Pilot Student on landing with partial flaps (20 degrees) instead of full flaps in a C-172. As a new CFI student it is great to have the opportunity to just watch a CFI in action! It is extremely helpful and something Aurora Aviation promotes with all levels of Instruction.
This video covers radio communication at a non-towered airport, standard traffic pattern and partial flap landing. We are landing runway 35 with left traffic.
    Instructional Items include:
Radio Communications at an uncontrolled airport
    Standard Traffic Patterns
    Partial Flap Landing- 20 degrees
    Aircraft: Cessna 172SP
    Airport: Aurora State Airport (KUAO)
