The harmony is something you don't really get to hear much, so that's kind of neat.

I've always been interested in the different channels in music because of SNES9x having the different channels, so this video and the others alike on this channel are all incredibly cool. Thank you. The wave channel is a triangle wave, also used in the NES
Wave channel can play anything from a 99-1 pulse wave to noise to whatever, not just triangle, on the NES there was a triangle channel that could only play triangle waves

The nintendo consoles triangle waves are the best!
The Triangle wave isn’t Nintendo Exclusive though. It can be found on other consoles and computers like the TurboGrafx and the Commodore 64
@@LunaTheStars I said the nintendo one, no the other ones. The Megadrive also could make triangle waves. But the nintendo one it has its own touch that I like.
@@TheSuperPlayer707 The “Nintendo Triangle” is found in the TurboGrafx as well. It’s a 5-bit Triangle wave that’s been slanted. It’s not Nintendo Exclusive

Did you notice the difference? Well, the C64 it's far superior, but the nintendo one makes its bassline with a different tone.
That's because the triangle wave of the 2A03 it has a lot of limitations, but to me that limitations it has to me a little attractive.
Yup, I could sound silly saying that, but that way of the triangle wave of the 2A03 brings to me a lot of memories.

The wave channel is different
Most of it. There's no DPCM sample channel in the Game Boy and the wave channel is more like the FDS sound system, where you make a sound wave yourself. And the Game Boy has stereo sound.
Mostly, but channel 3, which is a triangle-only channel on the NES, can play any 32 sample long... sample?

It's actually called Type A and not Theme A. And just for a fact, this isn't the original Type A.

It's called triangle not wave
It is a 32 Step PCM Wave table Channel, It can play the most obscure waveforms, not just saws, triangles, sines, squares.
Its called wave, not triangle, the wave channel can play any wave type, triangle, sine, square, noise(?), Sawtooth and even custom waves
