Ive always done skyreach and glad to see my strat very similar to yours! You should have looked at the zombies in alik’r dessert. I’ve done them a few times if that zone dead it’s op. But then I haven’t also been there in a few years maybe it’s bad now lol.
Thanks for this. I wish I had it for when I was leveling my Arcanists fighter's guild skill since I was losing out on a lot of fighters guild exp during my Skyreach grind, but at least now I can link people a video or show people how to make the grind faster by doing that pull after the chest. I also have known about using writs for leveling for a long time, but haven't really done it myself since it seemed like a pain, given the need to stack up a bunch of writs and pre-make them but that addon setup to pre-make all the quest items is very neat. I'm also surprised it is so far ahead of BRP. I know you made some assumptions, but even if we assume a fair bit of extra time, it still outpaces BRP by a lot.
It only outranks BRP if you go by those assumptions, in reality unless you’re just picking up skill rank 1 daily’s on all your characters in somewhere optimised for it like Alinor then you also have to factor in buying those writs, crafting them, collecting anything extra you might need because you’ve ran out, and then you have to open all your writ rewards and either bank, sell or deconstruct what you don’t need so you can start over again, hardest part is probably running around all the guild stores to find them at a reasonable price
A little bird told me that if you equip certain sets that proc off gap closers and go areas where each group of 2-3 mobs are spaced apart roughly the distance of a gap closer, then you can just Stampede from group to group instantly killing all of them, and that this generates much higher XP than any other spot in the game. cannot confirm or deny.
PSA to new players: When you reach 50 and beyond you become a squishy pea in all content and essentially useless in group dungeons until you get correct level armor. Power creep is a real thing and its possible the stonewall yourself if youre broke and have no guild to craft you cheap stuff.
it honestly doesn't really matter. no passive from vamp has any effect on the setup's damage or speed etc. you have infinite sustain and infinite healing for 30s so a lot of normally important things like sustain and dmg taken lose relevance during this.
How are you able to turn in multiple writs at the same time? When i accept one alchemy writ it requires me to craft the potion/Poison and turn it in before i can begin crafting another.
