My dog does the same little scoot and shift with my clothes, blankets, pillows, almost anything really. It usually ends up looking the same as when she started 😆
Just caught up on all your videos. Again (: Let me just say, kids are truly resilient. My younger sister was diagnosed with a heart murmur 35 weeks into my mom's pregnancy. And was going to need heart surgery to fix it. She's 19 now! And hasn't had to had surgery. My last baby was born at 34 weeks. And thank god survived going through covid with me. and she's a couple of days shy of 3 months now. Whatever diagnosis you little one has, they will get through it. Specially with all the love and support you and Glen will provide for her. ❤️
Just delivered my baby boy 41+1 went in to be induced but had a spontaneous labour. I'm soo in love with my little man, all the best with you and your baby its the best feeling being a mumma.
I can't believe all the issues with the developer! That is horrible. We moved into a new build apartment in Vancouver, and the construction workers took so many shortcuts and were so lazy... for example, the kitchen cabinets are not aligned properly, the hardwood planks are not straight with the walls (it's impossible to put down a rug because it looks off no matter what you do) and the construction workers left their garbage in walls so there's been an ongoing mouse problem throughout the entire building!
@@KarissaPukasI'm so glad you found that fire hazard though! That is shocking that they would be that careless and lazy. I hope you were able to get things sorted before Goldie arrived. That sounds like a lot to deal with at the best of times, let alone during an impending delivery 😅
It's like that in the states too. Childcare is crazy. I work as a teacher in the field and even for us to have kids and continue to work we are sometimes put on a wait list. Keep in mind though with the cost you're also paying for the teacher's livelihood
SO silly. I have friends that stay home from work because it legit wouldn't financially make sense to go back to work and put their kid in daycare. ECE's are paid terribly, I'm not sure where that $ is going lol :(
@@KarissaPukas Depends on the 'center' unless they are allowed to have a person offer childcare from their own home in Canada ( I honestly don't know so please educate me) if they're allowed to do in home childcare then it goes straight back to that person and their family but if it's a childcare center it can vary anything from the director's pocket, to promoting the childcare, to actually ensuring training for those child care workers. Again this varies from situation to situation but some states actually require that teachers of different levels to have a certain number of hours of training specifically towards ensuring the things that they are doing in their classrooms are developmentally appropriate for the children that they serve. If the center can they charge higher so that way they can foot the bill versus the teachers themselves paying out of pocket. Keep in mind I'm basing this off of what we have to do here in the states in Minnesota specifically. So it can vary in Canada and other countries too.
@@KarissaPukas We feel totally grateful my husband is a stay at home dad! I work in property management and thankfully get a housing discount and we live on site where I work! We have 2 boys, 6 and 4 and full time care for them minus my husband's potential income would net us positive maybe $200-$500 a month. Thankfully we make it (barely) on my income. For all the added stress it would be to have him go back, it's not worth it to us right now. Congratulations momma!!!
@@KarissaPukas the Early Childhood Teachers (aka myself living in Australia) don't even "see" that money. It's such a REWARDING job (seeing milestones, working with parents, being part of their development), however it is also so draining and we don't get paid enough. I actually had a parent ask me whether I had "needed" to study to get this job! It's infuriating!
everyone said it was crazy waitlist though when it comes down to it you call everywhere and eventually someone has an opening and more than one so you have options it's just that everyone's always hunting for a nice place lol
We have a 3 year wait list for child care in our town in Queensland 😭 also it’s $103 dollars a day (excluded an “admin fee”) prior to the rebate from the government 😬
I just want to say thank you for keeping Lola. I'm an animal control officer and so many people get rid of their dogs when they have babies, it's quite sad.. I do understand because I've also seen 2 children killed by family dogs. It's a hard decision all around but she's gonna be a great big sister
Hi Sarah! She has been the best big sister- it's a joy to watch. I genuinely can't imagine- life without her- she is my firstborn. My baby I didn't grow, but love just the same. It breaks my heart when families abandon their pets because they didn't take the time to prepare for a different dynamic or train them. Pets are for life. Appreciate your comment
Maaaate. Feel ya re developer shenanigans. We had our developer completely screw up our exterior paint job and have it start peeling off ended up taking them to court because they wouldn’t accept the fault. Soo stressful. Much love. X
Hey Karissa!! 👋 Cervical checks only hurt for me whilst in labour before then nothing hurt at all was just uncomfortable having someone up there poking and prodding 😅
Oh wow I can’t believe you had to deal with all those house issues right before giving birth 😳. It’s sad that you pay so much for a house and they cut so many corners.
Heyyyy I love your thumbnail! You are so beautiful! Thank you for always sharing in such an authentic way. Sending all the love light and positive energies your way!
I’m about to be 38 weeks in a couple days! 🙌🏻 I love your positive outlook whenever things don’t go as planned. I try to channel that same energy, like “let’s try to solve the problem as best we can, and just face the situation with humor because there’s nothing else we can do”. ☺️
Aww Karissa this has made me smile today. I am so happy for you, that the important things turned out okay and that you still managed to try and take it with ease. You are a great inspiration and how cute was that last shot of baby G moving? Sooo cute! You are as always awesome and I really love these kinds of videos. Also love how we get so see the snippets already knowing that it all will have a happy end! Lots of love
Why is childcare so expensive? I knew it wasn't completely free, but you have to pay for it completely? Over here in Europe, that's not the norm, if I am correct. I don't think you pay nearly as much as that, coukd be wrong though.
Everyone that has mentioned that expensive cost isn't paying that much. That is the full fee before the government rebates. Eg, my daily fee for son in NSW Australia is $104 but with the government subsidy I only pay like $43 per day.
Damn, your belly is so awesome. I’m in love 😍next step, you will see this wonderful half from you and the men of your Life. Next step for me too in few months. So excited for you, you deserve it. Kisses from Paris 💋
Welcome to week 38!
I have been watching you for so long. Absolutely love seeing your life evolve. You’re growth is beautiful.
This week was just the definition of "when it rains, it pours," wasn't it? 🤣
My god it was beyond 🥲😆
Tuesday really said “oh, you wanna relax a little before having a baby? We’ll see about that” lol 😅
I am beyond excited to see your journey with the home birth 🍄
Goldie was getting ready to enter the world at the end there lolololol and we need a updated parent Q&A video ft. Mom and Dad!
My dog does the same little scoot and shift with my clothes, blankets, pillows, almost anything really. It usually ends up looking the same as when she started 😆

Lovely video Karissa. I remember when that accident happened on highway 97 on election day, I hope nobody was hurt. I’m glad you were able to vote.
I’m loving the frequent uploads!!
I’m a RMT in BC too and I love seeing people in love with what we do 🥰 prenatal massage is so magical 🤍
It is SO helpful!
Good to know about the tv. We’re building a house and want to get a few of those frame ones!
It's really awesome, but definitely accommodate for the large box! LOL

That Costco card scowl!! 😂👌
Do y’all remember the chit chat clubbing video that shannon , karissa, chloe and lauren made!!? And now both karissa and shannon are pregnant 🥺🥺🥺

Child care is crazy expensive. For my two boys, for full time care is $1900 just so I can go to work. It’s honestly insane.
Where are your glasses from?😍

Oh nooooo. What is it with this hey? Thanks for watching
So excited that you are a mom 😍
You should move to quebec for good child care. Here it's 8.50$ per day 😁

Where is your bedframe from?? It is stunning
Thanks! Wayfair :)
Wow, you look beautiful 😍 When did you start drinking raspberry leaf tea? I'm curently 36 week pregnant, can't wait to see my baby girl 🥰🥰
Thank you! I started around then, but confirm with your care provider :)

Do you ever have thoughts about moving back to Australia?
Not to live, no :) We're happy living here. But we will visit a lot more once travel is easier / less restrictions!

Fingers crossed that $10/day daycare plan comes through! Finding childcare in B.C. is extremely stressful.
Will you be uploading a birth vlog?
Sure will be ☺️💕
