Thank you for sharing without annoying music :) I do like quick tips videos ---they seem to always remind me of tools and effects I may have forgotten , or see different uses for, along with stuff I have never known . Cheers
GREAT! Those are very specialized, wonderful and useful tips not explained in any other place. I'd have been wondering for years without finding them. Thanks a lot!!! (I particularly love CloneTool/Arrows rotation-scaling tips)
Check out my luminosity vs blend range videos, here is a link to part 2 about creating a mask from a blend range. ruclips.net/video/Gu34GI_BQfY/видео.html
Separated mode like that is only on Mac, on Windows there is Float or Docked, what do the same - kind of, they are floating you are still in the boundary of a program instead of viewing your wallpaper. And to prevent to auto-dock them back when moving hold Control.
Well, I tried 'separating the windows' but I couldn't get them to snap back. After digging around the Affinity forum, it seems the solution is to 'untick' the 'separate window' option. It worked but I'm missing my custom setup. It's possible I messed it up while clicking on some other options like 'merge all windows'. (WHY doesn't MERGE work? Very counter intuitive). Not being able to solve it, I had no choice but to 'reset' to it's out of box set-up. Grrrrrr... It's fine, but now I have to spend time reconfiguring it all. So... my question is... did using 'Merge' change it all? I'm confused why putting back together isn't so straight forward in simple wording like: 'UN-separate windows' or 'Snap Windows' or 'Standard View'... 🤷♂️
Are you using Windows or Mac? I believe the functionality of separate windows functions a bit differently between the Win en Mac. From my experience on a mac, the merge all function works without issues?
@@Graphicalfinity Using a Mac with Affinity 10.4.1. It's more than likely I did something silly. Next time I'll go with 'Merge All' off the bat. Thank you for the quick reply! (Old hobbyist getting a little more serious with a beginner's learning curve). But I'm getting it. Thanks to you 🙏

No 6, it is worth to have a dedicated tutorial, this was a very quick explanation of something very complex
