Quan Chi's amplified portals last a really long time, but the meterless ones disappear pretty quick. That Quan Chi player was using meter on almost every portal, which is why it lasted so long almost every time 🫨 I think if you have fast hitting attacks you can break the armor, but then you kind of need to adapt to him getting armor again while you are combo-ing. It's definitely tough and frustrating though, and things often work out weirder than you expect 😅
I think a Delay Wake-up would hinder Ermac’s ability to pull off the trap… I may be mistaken but I don’t see very many people delaying wake-up and that seems to work against a lot of greedy players like that Ermac
You should do a nightmare matchup video counter picking your opponent to show how to get through tough fights and who to avoid playing as certain characters
I've been labbing that ermac janet puppet combo for weeks and i still can't consistently complete it online, f**k those bf inputs, it wouldn't cost anything to let ppl customise special moves directional inputs

The portal is only good against players who don't know what they're doing.

Try mixing it up sometimes like using the Ferra grab or just blocking. It’ll make them less comfortable with poking and will open them up a bit
