Just got the Corsair RM650x 80+ Gold fully modular PSU with 10 year warranty. There are 'tier lists' you can look up to find the best quality PSU at various price points. I just went with the best rated A tier. Recommended as the best PSU at this wattage.
Finally someone that explains the function of each cable. I have watched other channels but non of them explain it quiet well, except you sir. This channel is indeed number 1 on the content. Salute !!
Thank you :)
Same , this channel was so very very helpful and very informative
I'm a visual learner and this channel is literally the best channel for me personally. Thank you for your work
Thank you for explaing the 80 plus ratings! I was always wondering what those meant. It was cool to see some of the basics of the electromagnetic physics behind it
Your videos are really informative. Thanks for uploading these animated videos on Computers. 👍
Glad you like them!
Extremely efficient introduction with unbelievable quality of animation. Thanks!
I truly truly think this is a great video the way you have animated and explained everything
Amazing video, the part about 80+ ratings was seriously helpful!
The only video that really made me understand what each cable do
Thank you for being so humble and sharing your life learned lesson in dealing with power supplies. Keep up the great work!!!
Your videos are really spicing up with more colorful animations! Keep up the good work!
Glad you like them!
It's amazing to learn from you what I wasn't taught at school.
Thank you 😌Master.
I wish university education was more like that.
Very well explained , thank you very much
Finally an actual aexplanation on how PSU works, thanks man!
Watching this one video beats all the hours I've spent collectively on all other PSU videos, even from the most well-known youtubers.
Glad you liked it!
This guy gives the bestest knowledge with easy to understand animations.. Thanks a ton❤️
Thank you for these informative videos. I learned many things from you!
Great explanation of the 80 Gold certification...thanks!
The simplicity of your explanations deserves a forever like button smash 👏👏
Absolutely golden reference worth more than any gold in the world. Knowledge is absolute power and knowing all of these brilliant knowledge from you absolutely amazes me. I was able to take away all the core components of the PSU and all thanks to you for providing with us the necessary information. Apart from your concise and precise explanation, the editing of the video where you are providing us information visually is also what matters and helps to understand better. Since, I'm a visual learner and this helped me to learn much effeciently.
Animation next level 🔥
And the explanation is brilliant
Keep it up
Great, great videos. You learn here, what a Collage do in 2 weeks. And here it's animated. Great edition and FX. Congrats 👏.
These are always great! The videos are elegantly animated, the voice-over is very professional, and, of course, the content is of great value. The most interesting part I found is the 80-plus ratings. I had no idea this existed - let alone the additional ratings based on precious metals colors. I think if you're the type of person caring about the environment, you will want to get an "80-plus Titanium" rated power supply. Over time, that extra over-and-above baseline 80% rating can mean real savings on your energy bill while being slightly less cruel to the planet 😃.
this is exactly the video that i needed, thank you so much !!
The animation is so eye catching, really unique.
This video was right on time for me! I’ve been watching a lot of your videos lately, and yesterday I was thinking about how the 80 Plus works. Well, sure enough, this video gets uploaded lol. The video quality is great! Also, hearing a story about how the one cheap power supply worked out was informative and funny (although at the time it was probably really scary lol). 👍
Thanks :)

Thank you so much for explaining the labels. I figured anything with an 80 label was good enough for my PC when I built it. Definitely going to get a higher level PSU with modular pieces for my next build. Great video.
You are a great teacher
Excellent, thank you.

Now I could learn more things about computer PSU's! :)
looking forward for future videos
Thank you very much. Animation is brilliant!!
10:07 - this situation occurs very often in Brazil. The power supply comes with 120v or 22v input, and with a switch to change according to the voltage coming out of the wall. So when we set the power supply to 120v but the wall supplies 220v we have smoke indeed!
bro your teaching skills are owsm
Thank you a lot for your hard work!!!!!
All I need to know, amazing guide!
Addendum to PCI Power: with PCIe - 5.0 specification coming out, GPU's are likely to use a new 12+4 connector (12 pins for power delivery, 4 pins for signaling). The 3090ti's currently use this connector, though often through splitters to 8pin PCIe power.
Also, the new ATX 3.0 PSU specification is around the corner with new certifications for transient loads and efficiency on certain power rails.
Excellent review and content !
This was very informative. I lean toward Seasonic myself. I like quiet computing.

9:58 So the cheap power supply you bought blew up? I've heard a few stories, similar to the one you told in the vid. That is good advice you gave, to buy a good power supply, instead of a cheap one. Thanks.👍😲
