Corrections: Mandrake passive apparently does not work with Poison Gas Bomb, I was wrong. Also I can confirm Envenomed Weapon DOES work with Ternion Attack/staves.
poison gas bomb does an immense amount of flat piercing per bomblet, with the Shrapnel synergy, and you can pretty easily get 80% recharge with this mastery combo with circle of power which brings the recharge down to 2 seconds, it's far and away one of the best damage powers in the game if you stack a bunch of piercing damage items (apollo's will rings, tracker's hood, whatever) with +4 skills it drops 20 bomblets, for me each of these are doing ~1300 frontloaded dmg and also applies a gigantic bleed eventually if you collect enough recharge equipment, which isn't thaaaaaaaat uncommon, you don't need circle of power any more and you can zip around just dropping poison bomb every 2 seconds, it's bananas, I did this with dex more than int but whatever works.
imo you ought to think about trying the dex version of this mastery combo, with spear/shield or throw/shield, and check out how it works, i.e. you can abuse throwing knives and lethal strike as well as having a much stronger poison gas bomb either of these combos (int/ternion or full dex warlock) is probably the strongest rogue combo overall, brigand might have the highest piercing damage but spirit gives you so much utility and safety :)
Toxeus the Murderer. Scared the crap out of me. He can also appear in the Minoan Labyrinth. At one point he could rarely appear anywhere in the game any undead can appear in. Due to rarity, this still could be true... but I’ve never seen it.

Some Warlocks I've seen using Throwing Knife. At least one where they use both Ternion Attack and Throwing Knife with Flurry.

ps maxed out life drain flat out kills everything that isn't immune to vit damage, if it's inside your deathchill radius
