I cry every time I hear this song, I thought it was just Stevie Wonder that did it for me. You made this song hit different for me, thinking of those who have died from AIDS, needing a touch, or a hug. I'm thinking of those poor people who died in the hospital from COVID-19, not getting any comfort from human touch. Thank you Billy, for making me feel this song even more. @SweetBlaq Coffey, Thank you for your compassionate comment. I took care of 2 of my stepfather's siblings, going to the hospital every night after working long days...I did this for months before they died , [ their own blood family were not there in their final days ]. No one should die alone.

I must admit. I heard this song while dreaming. Couldn't remember the artist just the song. Here's the biggie. In my dream it was sung by these 2 people. Not knowing it had been reproduced for this show, I searched it and lo' & behold this scene popped up in my search...the first video to pop up. Hit the play and sure enough it sounded exactly as I heard in my dream. Surely, in these times we are reminded that Love is indeed much needed.

this show was so touching and whatever a person decide to do with their life is their business but we don't have to hate them for it. The world need to love each other regardless .
An excellent reprise of a classic. These people should have kept it going. We need people who can sing to fill our hearts with the good energy in this video. They should do more videos of classics and other songs people enjoy. There's a lot of love in these songs and with their talents, people will love them again.

Pregnancy didn't stop me from being there as much as I could once I saw him kicked out of the church, lost his family and the loss of human compassion. 1990 wa hellish and Aids was the devils helper.

This version of this song found me just when I needed it. The stories in Pose and the times it covers are also my story: I am that straight girl that found a home in the Paradise Garage and other gay clubs. This video is a reminder of all the lost beauty that was taken by HIV/AIDS…so, so many that are no longer here, but I celebrate them EVERY time I dance. Those Queens would stare and stomp at me when I first went…but I kept coming back. They accepted me, and I respected them: I was in THEIR house. Acceptance and respect are foundations of love. Right now we need more of each. The Devil is busy, give that bitch “no quarter”!
