This union and becoming one flesh has been instituted since Eden, where God himself instituted the first wedding ceremony, bounding Adam and Eve, for eternity. Also, the first sexual act was instituted since then, and it was approved and sanctified by God, and in the intimate setting of Adam and Eve there was the presence of God and the angels, by their presence, they sanctified this intimate and sacred setting between Adam and Eve. In our days, the angels they are present in the private room of a married couple and sanctify that union between them by their presence. It is looked upon favorably before the angels, if this act is kept in holiness. When the God's people will be saved they will be with God for 1000 years, and all will be like angels. The saints will judge together with God and the angels the wicked who were lost, but when the Holy city, the new Jerusalem will come down to the Earth, God will cleanse the world from sin by fire, and through this the righteousness of God's character will be shown. After that, God will restore the Eden of the past, He will create a new heaven and a new earth where all the saints will live for eternity. We will build houses, we will have families, we will work, just like in the lost Eden.
@Jesus Is Lord YEEES IT LITERALLY SAYS THEY SHALL BEAR CHILDREN NOBMORE TO PROBLEMS LOLOL WHICH MEANS PEOPLE ARE HAVING KIDS, dam dude how can the church be so blind?
Dr. West , Thank you for always giving us light about the mysteries of our sexuality! May the Lord bless you and May he help us live according to His holy plan ❤️🙏
I just can’t imagine being happy without being married to my husband. But this I DO know. We will be happy with whatever God has arranged. When our son killed himself a year and a half ago, we cried, but we did not lose our trust. Later, one morning when I wasn’t thinking about our son at all, I heard him say ‘Mom’. Simply ‘Mom’. And I marked it on the calendar. Later I noticed that it was on my Dad’s birthday. Joel had been telling me that he missed his Grandaddy. And that was my confirmation of his arrival in heaven. I had asked God to send me a sign of Joel’s arrival. And He did.
2 Thessalonians 4:16. We don't die and go to heaven or hell. The Catholics made that up. Imagine how heaven would be if they're up there and seeing the misery that lives here on Earth. Imagine looking down and seeing your children and grand-children making mistakes. That wouldn't be heaven. That would be hell. In any case, I'm excited for you to get to see your son in heaven one day. God bless you.
@@iamfernandob do the research please. Because heaven and hell are separate. Plus after judgement they will be even more. And there wouldn't be sadness or sin
Sex is also a manifestation of love. It's very essential to who we are as God's creation. I have a hard time believing there won't be any sex in heaven, as I believe it will be similar to the garden of Eden.. But then again *no one* really knows.
Let's not forget God's command to be fruitful and multiply as well as the fact that God does not change. If there's no sex in heaven then that means he changed, which is impossible
It’s important to know that how we are in marriage now is only a fraction. We don’t know the full glory of what sex is about because we live in a sinful world that perverts sex that God never intended it to be. Sex in Gods eyes is completely opposite than what we have now. The enemy’s plan is to counterfeit Gods design for marriage. However, I do believe my wife and I will be together in heaven as companions under Gods government. Just not in a fallen world we’re we struggle with sin that tried to tear apart our marriage. So I do understand what he means as I still desire for my wife to be my companion just in a heavenly way. Not in a corrupted world we’re I’d have to fear her getting harmed where she wouldn’t In eternity and in the new earth. As long as we’re both companion and on the new earth together under our amazing God…I’m good to go! And of course everyone else.
I know this is a years old but i have to say i think everybody is missing the parable of that meaning, i don't think god would take us away from the woman we truly love it would be immoral on his part to do so a husband and wife that truly love each other it would be wrong to split them apart we have to be honest about how wrong this is
What about the people that were never able to ,arry in life? I always see married people acting like everyone does, can or has to, some people are unable to marry in this life for reasons they can't control I don't think marriage is Important to God because we are all equal in the eyes of God, the people who act like marriage is easy or for everyone are just proud In my opinion, it doesn't feel fair to me to act like everyone has the perfect sort of sex life they want in this life, sin is part of that reason too.
@Mg You're correct, this is something I also notice not enough people, let alone Christians talking about, I absolutely hate the peer pressure society we have for people to get married, (As well as all couples to try to match-make others), just the fact that people do this truly makes me so sick to my stomach, to try to make concepts as important as love & marriage into a purely numbers game & then wondering why they fail or people are miserable? It really is the worst feeling yet so many people do this & feel no shame or guilt for it, I wish that sin didn't make the world so cold & unfair, in a perfect world people would pick those they liked for reasons outside of duty or responsibility, Or heck even outside of physical appearance or attributes as well. But so many people hide the convenient truth that life is unfair & not everyone will live it the same way as you, (even if they might have wanted to).
@BIGTOBEJO Yes but that was at the beginning of creation today marriage is no longer important to God because we are sinners. You saw what Jesus said about Adultery. He was basically telling the Pharisees that because of their sins, they where the ones that tried to justify it, but at the beginning it was not like that at all. Same with dying. People cannot control how long they will live for anyways, so to say that marriage is important to God in a world that has so much sin & uncertainties towards it, is not only prideful but it’s sinful & not even true in general. You cannot even guarantee that a person lives till adulthood in this life, so why would marriage be important baring all of that in mind?
It’s always married people who so zealously declare that there will be no sex in heaven. They love the idea that they are experiencing something that singles won’t get to experience. It makes them feel superior.
Yes and that’s the problem, they always look to something BETTER always gotta be something * different* then what god made, this guy says wife and husband on earth is ONLY made to help each other make it to heaven, once you get there it’s no longer needed, soooo why did Adam need it then? Because he didn’t need eve for anything besides pleasure which is what she was made for, so that conception of what Bible means is illogical and stupid
Thanks Sir! Beautiful to hear lovely clarity! Certainly, I pray this grace for you and all God's children in Heaven! May God's Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven!🙏🏩
Thanks for your talks...thanks for sharing the Gift of TOB and your years of reflection on it...you have a great mission making JPII's teaching soooo accessible and attractive...God bless you
Most Christians say no to Sex, based on what I believe to be a misinterpretation of Jesus' interaction with the Sadducees because the statement "they will neither marry nor are given in marriage" also refers to marriage arrangements. People rarely married of their own volition in Biblical times. The vast majority of marriages were arranged by the groom and the father of the bride. Many were arranged by the fathers of both the groom and bride. These arrangements assured property and inheritance rights for the family clan and that the family name would continue. It was so important for families to bear a son to be the patriarch of the new family that Leverite marriage law was in place. That's why the woman in the Sadducees story had to marry seven times. Today's marriage concept is a historical anomaly. Only in the last century or so have marriages "for love" become the norm in most of the world (though still not in many middle eastern countries!). Since marriage means something very different today, the term "given in marriage" is interpreted very differently. People think it means to be married, so they think Jesus is saying people won't be married in heaven. They forget that Jesus was speaking to a first century audience, not a 20th or 21st century one.
Not only that, our bodies won't NEED food in heaven. However we will be attending countless feasts, as mentioned in the Word. Just because we won't need food, rest, reproduction in Heaven does not mean God will force us to do without the pleasures of these things.
So what exactly do you think Jesus was saying to the people of that day and age? Is it that there will no longer be a need for material inheritance because eternal inheritance is here? Or maybe you're saying that there's a capacity to enjoy the former on an infinitely greater scale because of the latter? If so, wouldn't that align with what Christopher was saying in the video? Genuinely asking.
A lot of people seem to forget in the first 2 chapters of the Bible that Adam had a perfect relationship with God when Eve was created. One is not a replacement for the other, they are different types of relationships that fulfill different desires. You don’t need a foretaste of what you already have. All reasons anyone has ever thought of for why sexuality would be eliminated contradict other parts of the Bible and their own logic. What do you think is going to happen to clitorises and sexually dimorphic body shapes?.
My question is what happens to testicles and ovaries. A non functional reproductive system is a defect, so these systems must achieve some higher perfected purpose or not exist at all. I think the question of the pleasures of sex in heaven is the least important part of this question
People always give the verses “in resurrection there will be no marriage” but when we get raptured we are alive and not dead, so we aren’t being resurrected. The dead are resurrected. We are taken up.
I loved when you said that the Marriage will be taken up into the Eternal Union fully redeemed and completed into the Marriage of the Lamb. ❤️ Sir , Hope to see you soon in our Channel . JTM INDIA 🔥❤️
As some scholars have noted, the present tense verbs in Luke 20:34 indicate that both groups of sons are living in the present age, with the sons worthy of resurrection being identified by their marital restraint. Crispin Fletcher-Louis sums it up well: “ [the activities in] the present tense in Luke 20:34, should be attributed to the present life.” The versions of this scene recorded in Matthew and Mark are quite similar in detail and wording. Luke’s account, however, is significantly different and includes information not found in the other two. Just as he did in Lk. 16:8, Jesus contrasts “the sons of this age” with a righteous group of sons using the present tense. The “sons of this age” are marrying (gamousin) while the “sons of God” are not marrying (oute gamousin). The ones who are not marrying are not said to be living in the future age; they are only considered worthy to attain to the future age. This was no call to a life of celibacy. Some scholars generally take the unconventional view that Luke 20:34-36 is a call to celibacy in the present age. In making this argument, however, they do not take into account the negative connotation of “the sons of this age”. This identifies the group of sons who marry as wicked sons, signaling that a particular sort of marriage is in view. Jesus was by implication referring to forbidden marriages. Mark and Matthew omit Luke’s explicit moral contrast between righteous and wicked sons. But even if these shorter accounts are closer to Jesus’ original words, his meaning would have been clear to an audience steeped in the Hebrew scriptures. Contextually, his replies to the previous two challenges already pointed in the direction of Malachi’s eschatological prophecies about the corrupt priesthood. His audience could hardly have missed an allusion to Malachi in this third reply that mentions being “like angels” and is directed at the priests: the very name “Malachi” (mal’aki) means “my angel” and Mal. 2:7 describes the priest as the “angel of the Lord.” Further, forbidden marriages like those in Malachi were expected to continue to the time of the Messiah (Mal.3:1-5). With their long history of forbidden marriages, the Sadducees fit the bill to a tee. The expression “marrying and giving in marriage” is and on ther rare phrase found in only two New Testament scenes. Jesus used it in his reply to the Sadducees, and then again in the Olivet Discourse just a few hours later. In the latter case,he was describing the marrying and giving in marriage that would occur before his return:
Matthew 24:37-39 - For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man This passage is commonly thought to contain a list of morally neutral activities. But Darrell Bock rightly challenges the common view: “[t]he verbs may seem neutral, but anyone familiar with the flood story would know that they connote moral corruption.” Indeed, upon closer inspection we will find that Jesus is actually warning his disciples not to participate in each pair of activities. We will consider each of these pairs in turn. Rarely is it noticed that Jesus explains the nature of this “eating and drinking” later in the Olivet Discourse. He warns the disciples that they must stay awake to be ready for his coming, because the “ wicked servant” who “eats and drinks with drunkards” will be surprised by his return and judged a hypocrite (vss. 48-50). A particular form of eating and drinking is clearly in view. The charge to “stay awake” is an eschatological metaphor with both spiritual and physical connotations. The disciples were to be spiritually sober, which involved physically refraining from the kind of eating and drinking that leads to debauchery and would render them unprepared for his return. Such “eating and drinking” is strongly condemned in the Old Testament. It included eating and drinking in the context of idolatrous rituals (e.g. Ex. 32:5-6, Hos. 2:11-13) or the over indulgence of food and alcohol (e.g. Deut. 21:20, Ecc. 10:16-17) that is often associated with other sins like violence and the neglect of the poor. One key example of this latter category occurs in Isaiah 5, a passage Jesus alluded to when denouncing the corrupt priests. These texts illustrate the sort of “eating and drinking” Jesus has in view. He identifies it as the behavior of the wicked at the time of the flood and later associates it with drunkenness, confirming it to be immoral in nature. This in turn implies that the next pair of verbs he mentions will also denote immoral behavior. Marrying and Giving in Marriage. Interpreters often neglect the fact that Jesus sets this “marrying and giving in marriage” in a very specific context: the days of Noah before the flood. It is clearly an allusion to Genesis 6, which mentions the marriages that took place precisely because they were forbidden:
"And it came to pass when men began to be numerous upon the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God having seen the daughters of men that they were beautiful, took to themselves wives of all whom they chose. And the Lord God said, “My Spirit shall certainly not remain among these men forever...” The cause-and-effect connection between illicit marriage and the flood judgment was firmly embedded in Israel’s national consciousness. Ellen Robbins observes that sexual immorality as the primary cause of the flood “remains the dominant motif in later [Jewish] interpretation.” One example is the tradition found in the book of Jubilees (ca. 150 BCE), where Noah warns his sons to refrain from the sort of marriages that instigated the flood judgment. Both the Old Testament and most other Second Temple Jewish texts regard illicit marriages as the primary cause of the flood. Jesus’ disciples therefore would have instantly recognized his reference to “marrying and giving in marriage” in the days of Noah as a warning againstbecoming entangled in sexual immorality. Luke Timothy Johnson observes that “for ancient moral logic generally, incontinence with respect to food is integrally linked to incontinence with respect to sex.” The linkage between these two negative pairs of activities appears in several NT passages that specifically allude to the Olivet Discourse.Peter compared his generation with the “days of Noah” (1 Pe. 3:20-21) and cautioned believers to avoid “doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies , drinking parties and lawless idolatry” (4:3). And Paul told the Roman church that “the hour has come for you to wake from sleep” (Rom. 13:11), meaning that they should “walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality andsensuality ” (13:12 13).Moreover, the activities Jesus mentioned in the Olivet Discourse are a list of sinful behaviors that would be prevalent right before his return. This means that just a few short hours afterhe first used the phrase “marrying and giving in marriage” in his confrontation with the Sadducees, Jesus used the same phrase a second and final time to describe the sexual immorality that would occur at the end of the age.

Hello! Thank your for sharing and being vulnerable. Christopher has written a book that might be helpful: shop.corproject.com/products/the-love-that-satisfies
The scripture doesn't only say they are no longer given in marriage it says they *neither marry* nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels in heaven (who do not marry).
There is way more evidence that there will be sex in Heaven than the absence of sex. Everyone is acting like sex = sin. The scripture about "no marriage or given in marriage in Heaven" is always misrepresented.
@tlafleur8433 But in Genesis 6 the "Sons of God" or (bene'elohim) did have generative sex with human women and thus the Nephilim were born. Wherever else this phrase is used in the OT, as in the Book of Job, it invariably refers to angels. But even if this is mistaken I still would prefer to go to Heaven.
0:55 Matthew 22:29-30 did not specify anything about no longer being of one flesh. Within the context of verses 23-30, the Sadducees were attempting to trip Jesus up in regards to Jewish tradition. According to Jewish tradition, if a brother was to die before having an heir to inherit the possessions, his brother was to take possession of his brothers household and provide an heir. Jesus was emphasizing that, at the resurrection, there will no longer be a need for Jewish tradition of marrying or be given in marriage because men and women will be like the angels in Heaven. In fact, Jesus puts men and women in higher value than His angels.
I hate this FUCKING stupid concept, as tho heaven and Jesus is a replacement for are relationships now LOLOL BUT BUT I THOUGHT ADAM WAS COMPLETE IN GOD? yet he still needed a women….this picture they paint as tho Jesus will fulfill all desires in heaven is a lie, god did not make i that way to begin with and in the end he shall restore it to the way it was. what the problem is, they think we’re literally gonna be married to Jesus so everything is automatically fulfilled, sooo we’re gonna have a male and female society without the integrities? LOL OK, they literally believe we’re all downscaled into a brother and sister relationship and we’re all the bride of Christ married to Jesus, what the problem is they can’t stand to be HUMAN, god did NOT design married as a *sign* here, he made Adam and Eve BECAUSE IT WASINT GOOD FOR MAN TO BE ALONE, what’s funny dude is Bible says god never changes, so if he changes the concept in the end he lied LOL, Bible actually talks about child bearing on new earth, but but but I thought it wasint there?🤣🤣 man 95% of christianity has lied for 1000 years
Do you think we can do our hobbies in heaven like play video games, play with family, friends, pets, draw, etc.? Even if I don’t find who I belong with here will I find him in Heaven or maybe even fall in love with an Angel?
@@sketchyann609 when it comes to video games no, but only because most forms of entertainment draw on escapism what can a person create that is so enjoyable compared to the creations of god? playing with family and friends absolutely, in heaven everyone will be your friend eventually haha drawing will be a thing, dont see why not in heaven there are animals and these animals dont kill us so pets would be a thing, again dont see why not you will not be with an angel, while a union is technically possible as seen in genesis it is not gods intention for you to be coupled with a non-human

I have some comments. Eating is also an earthly act, we wont be needing nutritions yet we will feast in heaven. Why cant we marry and have sex in heaven too?
Sexuality isn’t lust, you may have sexuality in heaven but it won’t be earthly and lustful. Jesus has a sexuality too and a spouse it is the church but Jesus sexuality isn’t fallen like ours his sexuality is to give life in the church so our sexuality is fallen and lustful it’s not the same and god will redeem it

I think it needs addressed that those of us who have to go without sex, most certainly are missing out on, probably the greatest thing, outside of being reborn, on this side of the grave! Any idiot can get married, the question is can you be a good spouse and many of us, whether we are believing a lie or not, have to do without. That needs to be acknowledged; it is a really big deal and I hear person after person speak as if your shallow for desiring it. I have no answers on it except to say that the Bible says way less about it than what is preached about. That is never a good combo. I am not getting on your case personally, but as a person who is in this boat, lightheartedly dismissing it for eternity isn't a laughing matter. Again, I am addressing the multitudes who have addressed this as if we aren't missing a thing; yes we are.
I remember you, I also remember showing you verses proving that there will be childbearing (and therefore sex) in Heaven. I found a new verse to show you! :D Zechariah 8:5 The city streets will be filled with *boys and girls* playing there."
@@asdfgh4059 there is no indication that is what it is referring to, I know how in my original comment its just the one verse but within the context of the verse the city mentioned is likely the new jerusalem which is post millenium
This is largely incorrect, and only partially true. The sentence from Jesus, regarding, "they shall no longer be married, or given in marriage", He spoke of earthly conventions no longer being needed, in Heaven, In Heaven, we will no longer need a Contract, for being with our spouse, because that was designed for a fallen world. In Heaven, there will no longer be a need, for a contract. We WILL BE with our Spouses, or we will find our true human love, in Heaven, and all be "married" to Christ, together. Besides which, this was also a parable, to highlight a different story all together, and should not be taken out of context, but I don't need to go into that aspect. I have studied and researched this in Theology, for over 15 years. I know this truth. We will also still have sex, as will all the animals, in Heaven, too. I know that I know this. And remember, Adam and Eve, were not "married", in the contract sense, either, they were joined in a heavenly way, by God---it wasn't called "marriage".
I hope that you are correct, but the fact of the matter is that you can't be so certain of this. And neither can the guy in the video be so certain of his belief. I don't believe there is enough info in the Bible to say 100% one way or another, is there? Maybe you, as well as the guy in the video, shouldn't speak your interpretations as if they are fact. Maybe start with the words "I personally believe that...."
I believe there are passages in the book of Elijah referring to babies playing by the vipers den and children being born in the new earth. What is your understanding. Honestly, it doesn’t make any sense that there are all the joys of this life in the new creation but no sex with your spouse, that would be the most awesome sex ever. Adam had God but even God said he needs someone more. People read that passage in Revelations that states “there will be no more sorrow, nor pain, nor death”, and add “nor marriage(sex)” as if “yeah, heheh, throw that thing out with the trash, it’s so carnal and unspiritual”. To think this one verse has dampened the joy and beauty of so many believers hearts. How many feel guilty for wanting pure sexual union with their loved ones in an eternal sense, but they are told “no, you’re an idolater, sex is deficient!”, snd yet it was part of the crown of Gods creation. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. What if I decide that I’d like to make love to my glorified wife in my own mansion, is there going to be a law in heaven that says I don’t have the right?? Something is not right with this suppression and vilification of pure holy sex in eternity, after all God put it in my heart. This idea parallels the guilt mentality that we see today in many churches. There’s something more to this. I will find it out.
@@troutboat Sorry, but what I spoke, is studied fact, and not what "I personally believe". Firstly, If you listen carefully to what Jesus, Himself said, he was back in a time, when folks married for security, for inheiritance, a contract , to protect family and descendants, and rarely love. In Heaven, There will be no need for Contracts, in Heaven!!! You will not need a contract, to be with your eternal Soulmate! This is our Loving God! This is our beautiful Jesus!!! And Sex was created for joy, by GOD!!!!! remember, not just pro-creation! This guy does not, know what he is talking about, and is hurting people's understanding of our Loving God, and our Savior, Jesus!!!!! btw, all our loving pets will be with us, in Heaven, also!!
@@judydenver5362 I agree with everything you said. Except that you can't say that for a fact. You can speculate it for sure, but we won't know for sure until we're dead since the Bible is not totally clear on the subject of soulmates in Heaven and exactly what it will be like. I believe what you said though that God created sex and it was made to be beautiful. And we were made in God's image. It's been confirmed through many peoples' NDEs that our pets are for sure in Heaven, so I agree on that too. And I personally hope there is sex and soulmates in Heaven, but it is still just speculation.
These verses prove that there is childbearing (therefore sex) on the New Earth. Genesis 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and *increase in number;* fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground." Genesis 2:18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." Jeremiah 23:3-4 "I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where *they will be fruitful and increase in number.* I will place shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified, nor will any be missing," declares the LORD. Isaiah 11:6-9 The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and *a little child* will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The *infant* will play near the cobra's den, and the *young child* will put its hand into the viper's nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 65:17-25 "See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more. "Never again will there be in it *an infant* who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought *a mere child;* the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the work of their hands. They will not labor in vain, nor will they *bear children* doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the LORD, they and *their descendants* with them. Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent's food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain," says the LORD. Isaiah 66:22 "As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me," declares the LORD, "so will your name *and descendants* endure. Zechariah 8:5 The city streets will be filled with *boys and girls* playing there."
Saints are flesh and will fornicate in the resurrection #eternalfornication #KJV #heaven Jeremiah 3:14-19 KJV says the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL who are MARRIED TO CHRIST will “multiply", "increase", have "families", and "children" in the millennium and we won’t have the “ARK OF THE COVENANT” (God’s laws) anymore. This would include the marriage laws because the whole chapter is about marriage. Put two and two together this must be fornication. * It even says we have pastors; a pastor must be married with children. How can we have pastors if there's no marriage? Because the marriage laws were removed, and they're allowed to fornicate. * And it's talking to ANCIENT ISRAEL, thousands of years before the Millennium. These people are all DEAD now. * In Ephesians 2:11-19 KJV God says Christian will be fellow citizens of Israel. So, it applies to us as well. "For I am married to you" = saints in Christ. "Multiplied and increased in the land" = baby making. "Jerusalem the throne of the Lord" = Millennium. "No more ark of the covenant" = no laws. Jeremiah 23:3-6 KJV repeats this saying GOD'S FLOC will be "fruitful" and "increase" in the Millennium. * It says his "flock from all countries". Saved people from all history. * It says they will "fear no more" aka no problems... People saved after the rapture still have problems so it can't be talking to them. * And it says we will "walk in God's judgments" so we are NOT transgressing the law. (This does not mean it’s anything goes now. It’s most likely a boyfriend girlfriend thing). SAINTS WILL NOT HAVE “PHYSICAL” LAWS. Jeremiah 3:16 KJV says that as we multiply, we will not have the “ARK OF THE COVENANT” (God’s laws). The “neither shall that be done no more”, Is referring to God’s ten commandments inside of the ark. and by extension all other laws that connect to it. * The saints will have a “spiritual law” written in our hearts. Aka our “moral contusion”. Hebrews 10:14-16 KJV and Jeremiah 31:33-34 KJV. The saints will only have a moral contusion with no “physical” written law. * (Only the UNSAVED will have physical laws in the millennium as the saints will rule over them with the Christ) - GOD CHANGES THE LAW ALL THE TIME. * "For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law". Hebrews 7:12 KJV. * (God did the same thing with the Sabbath Day, circumcision, and the food laws.) * "Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression." Romans 4:15 KJV * (“Where no law is'' implies there is a time/place where there is no law. Otherwise, the verse would make no sense) * No law, no transgression, NO Sin." * (The bible says in the New Testament that we are not under the old law, and we should not continue in sin the grace may abound. BUT that’s talking about this life in the New Testament. Not the afterlife where we will have no law at all.) THIS SPIRITS CRAP IS AN ATTACK ON THE RESURRECTION!!!!!! * Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 1 Corinthians 15:12-13 KJV * This spirit’s stuff creates MANY doctrinal issues and contradictions in Scripture. (This spirits nonsense is a BAD TREE that needs to be cut down.) Jesus ONLY said we will not be married and will be like the angels who are FLESH. He even clarified we are "LIVING." Which is a reference to Ezekiel calling the cherubim “living creatures” meaning they are flesh. Mark 12:25-27 KJV BUT WAIT flesh and blood can't inherit the kingdom of God? Exactly we will be flesh and BONE in the resurrection. 1) OUR GLORIFIED BODIES ARE FLESH- * Ezekiel 36:22-35 KJV God says he will give us a "new heart of FLESH" in the Millennium. * In Revelation 7:13-17 KJV our glorified bodies are described as eating food and wearing clothes implying genitalia. we're not spirits, just spiritual. * In Luke 24:39-43 KJV Jesus was also FLESH and "BONE" in his glorified body when he rose from the dead and he ate fish. * (spirit does not have flesh and bone. A spirit cannot eat food.) * In Luke 14:15 KJV We eat bread in heaven. * (We will be flesh and "BONE" like Jesus. No blood... The bible says we will have celestial bodies, but celestial means outside the earth not a spirit.) 2) GENDER AND CHILDREN IN HEAVEN- * Revelation 14:1-4 KJV- the 144,000 are "virgin MEN" that come down from heaven and have not been defiled by "WOMEN". Proving gender exists. and it says ARE "present tense" it's not talking about back in their past lives. * "virgin implies intercourse still exists and they haven't had it yet." * Revelation 12:1-2 KJV- says there's a WOMAN clothed with the sun in heaven with child. (It’s a pregnant woman giving birth) * IT'S NOT the Virgin Mary. Because Jesus was born on earth not heaven. It represents Mary and Jesus but it’s really someone else. * Matthew 24:30 KJV - the "son" of man is in heaven coming in the clouds. Jesus in his glorified body is still MALE not a genderless spirit. * In Matthew 19:14 KJV Jesus says little children serve him in heaven. Meaning there're little children in heaven * In Isaiah 66:22-23 KJV it says on the new earth our SEED will remain and all FLESH shall worship the lord. Meaning we will still be having children on the new earth * (some verses say there is neither male nor female in Christ. BUT it’s not talking about heaven. It's talking about following Christ.) 3) ANGELS ARE FLESH - * Ezekiel 10:15 KJV The cherubim are stated as "living creatures" therefore they are flesh. The term "living creatures" is used all throughout Ezekiel's vision to describe them. * In Psalms 78:23-29 KJV God makes "angel's food" fall from heaven for his people to eat. Implying angels must eat food. * In Ezekiel 1:20-21 KJV it says they hold their spirits in their wheels. The wheels are a separate object sitting against them. How can a spirit be in two places at once? It clearly has a flesh body with a spirit in it controlling the wheel. * In Ezekiel 1:11 KJV the cherubim are said to cover their bodies, implying genitalia. we know they don't marry so they must fornicate. They're also called beasts all the time and beasts reproduce without getting married. * (Nowhere in the Bible does it say they are celibate. They're sometimes called spirits but not literally.) 4) FORESHADOWING OF THIS- * Genesis 4:16-17 Cain is sent to the land of Nod to know his wife/sister and have kids. This is foreshadowing of Jeremiah 3:14-16 when "two of "a" family" are sent to Zion to multiply. Two of the "same" family that's brother and sister. * This is symbolic of how the Millennium and later the new earth will be like the garden of Eden and the days before the flood. Ezekiel 36:33-35 KJV back when relations between family members were allowed. This rule can also be applied to the unsaved into. * 1 Corinthians 5:9-10 says be not altogether with the fornicators of "THIS WORLD". This implies an opposition where there's fornicators in other worlds. WHY WOULD GOD DO THIS? 3 REASONS 1) Fornication is only a sin in this life because it is UNCLEAN, that's not a problem in our glorified bodies. Ephesians 5:3-4 KJV. * There is no other reason given in scripture besides it being unclean. 2) We were ALWAYS meant to multiply in the beginning, Genesis 1:27-28 KJV. * God NEVER says it is only for reproduction, God said it was to "REPLENISH" the earth. Multiplying is good for the environment. 3) IT connects to the resurrection of Christ. We are all supposed to be like Jesus in his glorified body. Some verses say fornicators can't enter the Kingdom of God. BUT they say enter in, not allowed in, and they're referring to the "OLD MAN of sin" not the "NEW MAN of the spiritual mind" which cannot sin. And that word "inherit" implies it's talking about people in this life. Ephesians 4:22-24 KJV. * (All the verses talking about how wicked fornication is are referring to this world in our fallen bodies.) The resurrection is the promise of getting saved. Get saved today. Only the Isaiah verses say anything like what you want to say, and I think only the latter 2 of them. And you could use the same passage to suggest there will be death in the new earth so... I don't think you've made a very good case.
@@josephbrandenburg4373 Because of the "a man who dies at 100 will be thought of as a child" part? This doesn't say there is death in heaven, it is emphasizing the longevity of our lives in heaven. "Not a very good case" But the argument for no marriage in Heaven is? one single verse taken out of context?
@@InitialPC I'm not trying to say anything positive or negative here about the opposing case. "A man who dies... will be thought of" doesn't say there will be death in heaven... but it's for the exact same reason that we can't say it's answering the question about whether there will be marriage or children in heaven. It's a poetic, symbolic passage intended for an entirely different question.

As a lapsed Catholic who has been considering returning to the Church, this holds me back from being committing to being Christian. Just look at all the people who die single, especially under tragic circumstances such as being conscripted into war. What can Christians say to them? That they'll never know true romantic love with the other sex, that God's presence in Heaven is good enough, tough luck? I can't accept it. You're saying that nuptial union with a male God is superior to nuptial union with a female. That's GAY. It is a nonsexual, spiritual form of homosexuality. My vision of Heaven has always been one where the human soul is upright and fulfilled in the presence of God who is as a proud Father. This vision of God is unfulfilling, since you say He wants to make it all about kowtowing before Him like an Eastern prince, not the new life He may give us, as the perfect philosopher-king. If God is so great, He must have an angel waiting for neglected people to be their soulmate in Heaven. I have read that Islam believes in something similar to this, but Islam is a blatantly false religion in many other ways. Furthermore, how can you be bodily resurrected in Heaven, gendered nature and all, and still not have sex in Heaven? Are you suggesting that we will have our genitals in Heaven, but that we will be unable to be aroused? That's equivalent to chemical castration. What kind of benevolent God would do that? Please reply if you are brave enough. I need closure on this topic.
Doctrines such as no marriage in heaven stem from a basic fundamental misunderstanding of the bible and of God- by viewing God as a hard taskmaster and having a perspective of having to be your best, counting on good works, continuous repentance of sin etc, that leads to people blindly following doctrines and teachings that seem burdensome, like you say "never experienced romantic love? Tough luck, gotta get over it". They then out of fear of being outcasted or even hellfire, don't say anything about it and just accept it. When you acknowledge and grasp the basic truth that God truly paid the price and justified us through his Sons sacrifice by faith alone, doctrines like this become utterly absurd. You mean to tell me God gave up his only begotten Son for sinners, puts us above angels and glorifies us to be like Christ, only to awkwardly remove the fundamental human part of marriage, sex and relationships.
I spoke with a little old Asian lady whose husband passed away a few months before, she told me that she received a vision of the new heaven and new earth and God assured her that there will be sex in heaven and it will be very good.
You’re making a fundamental mistake with the Theology, one that unfortunately most Christians also do, Adam had a perfect union with God but was still incomplete, God gave him Eve to complete him, but if Adam only had Eve, he would be incomplete, God and a spouse are two different unions which serve different purposes.
I think people interpret that passage too strongly. I don't think Jesus was directly answering the question of "is there marriage in heaven?", but rather, the trap question the Jews asked him. And he usually used clever answers in situations like that. In this case, I think the main thrust of what he was saying was that the Saducees don't get it- they don't know God or the scriptures. And I think that's the real answer. Jesus made an appeal to the scriptures, then he gave us new teaching? No, I don't think so. I think that the scriptures must tell us the rest of what Jesus was saying. That being said, I don't know of a single verse thay discusses the subject. Perhaps he is talking about the fulfillment of the law ending levirate marriage? I don't know, but I think it's a little hasty to jump to the conclusion that there is no (ordinary) marriage in heaven. That being said, it seems to work either way, and if Dr. West is right, then we won't be upset when we get there and find out one way or the other.
The easy answer is the fact that we're not going to heaven as if that's our destination. It doesn't say that in the scriptures at all. From the Tanakh to the words of Jesus to the book of Revelation it describes Jesus returning to the earth to reign on earth with us here on earth. And then after we reign with him here on earth for a lengthy period of time, a new heavens and a new earth are created and once again we are not living in heaven we are living on earth! Why do so many Christians struggle with this idea and believe that we are destined for heaven? It's such a weird myth. This has got to be one of the most prevalent myths out there. So many people within Christiandom use sentences like: "In heaven will we this?", "In heaven will we that?". That's irrelevant because that's not our destination! Haha. It's literally right there in the text
As much as it doesn’t make sense for us to lose our genitalia since they are essential aspects to our identities, it kinda also doesn’t really make sense for us to continue to have them if they’re not going to be put to use for their original created purposes.
My late beloved had prostate cancer and so we never had traditional sex but had an intimate and sensual relationship. I am fully expecting to consummate the relationship when I pass on.
In the Garden of Eden and before the fall, Adam and Eve lived together as man and wife, having been joined together by God Himself. And what God hath joined together, no power on earth or heaven (including death or the grave) hath any power to undo or annul. So eternal marriage was on the earth and ordained by God Himself. What's more, Adam and Eve would have remained forever as man and wife, but they fell from God's grace. None of this are my words, but recorded in first book of the Bible (Genesis). So God created us in His own image, "male and female created He them". What kind of heaven would include males and females with immortal perfected bodies, but forever consigned to live as neutered angels or castrated eunuchs? Would such a thing make any sense?

You don't need to be a biblical scholar to know this is the resurrection of the dead.
If there’s no sex in heaven and we are to be like the angels why were the angels who disobeyed GOD able to look down from heaven and lust after the women on earth. How could the angels have a desire to lust after the women on earth if they’re incapable of sex?
Jesus meant no one will be taking or giving in marriage against there will become heaven is all love so people will choose themselves, that’s what Jews would do to women, used them like a tool and arranged a marriage to a man she didn’t like it didn’t have choice, that’s not gods design it was for 2 to fall in love, he just mean it’s being restored to that concept

Since we are all on a journey of true holiness. Is it possible that one’s ethos can be so changed by grace that he or she can be more authentically or chastely affectionate and intimate with people of the opposite sex without lusting? Is it safe to say that a spouses intentionality for touching and embracing changes as grace conforms him and her more and more to Christ.
I feel like you are just being bias here saying that married people on Earth will be married in Heaven, but single people who never found anyone on Earth will have no spouse in Heaven. That doesn't sound very fair and just. I think it's either we all can have spouses in Heaven, or noone can. It's likely one or the other. It wouldn't seem fair or right to say married people get to keep their spouse but single people miss out.

@@Seminooos It would happen in your next life, if that's what you want. For all we know, all of us may have already lived multiple lives. We come into this world to learn to love unconditionally, its simple but not easy especially when you experience it from different perspectives and angles, then we go back home to heaven. The greatest kind of love is the one that's chosen despite the adversities and challenges of living in an imperfect world. We can't learn this in heaven. Because in heaven everything is perfect and pure.
I know of no biblical evidence to support the claim that one is able to switch genders in Heaven. There is, however, a distinction between the temporal and eternal throughout the Bible. When you were born once through God's Word, He fashioned you in His image with His breath in your lungs. He knew us before our parents did, and counted all of the hairs on our heads. Then, He handed you off to your parents. Whether male or female, designed you as such to give Him glory. If you want to feel what its like to be the opposite gender, I would urge you to take one step deeper and walk into the suffering of a friend or family member of the opposite gender. There are cultural influences around gender (which is based in biological sex) and how men get treated versus women. The same way Jesus listens to you and walks with you in your suffering, do the same for others and you'll see the heart that lies beyond the body.
nobody knows i really don't think god would split couples apart if they truly loved each other i think that would be immorally wrong lets just be honest about that if it's truly going to be like eden again i don't think he will truly stop marriage between a man and a woman i think we are missing the parable of his meaning of this problem, and to be honest, i would not want to go to heaven if i could not be with my wife and have her as my wife again, because it's like daddy trying to tell you can't be married anymore treating you like a kid almost like a slave and thats not right it's wrong, I love Jesus i do but there has to be a line that can't be crossed because i would love my wife just as much

That’s a very interesting question tbh. What about the feeling of sex? What if someone genuinely loves to have sec with their wife not just for procreation but for bonding. The bible says no covanental marriage, not no sex. You can eat food, dance, run, play, learn new things, drink, play music, do art, climb trees. You can literally enjoy all the physcial things in heaven. So why not sex?. The bible never says no sex, it says no covanental earthly marriage. You can eat food in heaven yet you dont need to, so it follows that you could have sex in heaven without needing to either. Even if it isnt the greatest thing you could do anymore. I suspect sex will still be a part of it just like every other physcial activity is. There are many ways you can imagine that still happening For example in the unfallen perfect garden of eden, two humans, man and women were specifically designed for each other by god from one flesh in physcial bodies. Perhaps in heaven you will be designed with your 'one flesh' whom will be the only person you desire to express sex with and it will be very good in the eys of god ans you will love each other throufg god. And it will make no sense to you to be with anyone but her/him because she is your flesh, so marriage will not be needed. It is unbiblical to insist there is no sex in heaven.

Hello @L3f7S1d3 ! Thank you for your honest concern. The Theology of the Body is a teaching deeply rooted in Scripture. A passage that addresses your concern and that Christopher is extensively drawing from is Ephesians 5:31-32: 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” 32 This is a great mystery, and I am applying it to Christ and the church." Hope that helps.
You have to remember that Jesus was talking to those who did not even believe in the resurrection. There is intentional ambiguity there. Once you understand the whole plan things become more clear. We are literal children of our father in heaven. We should aspire to become like our Father. To do so we need to follow his son Jesus, who by the way was married, and probably had children. These facts were probably omitted by the gospel writers to protect them from those who killed Jesus.

I have someone in my life who I've been in a long distance relationship for six years now. Her parents hate my guts and have judged me and labeled me as things that I'm not. I would do anything to be united with this girl and I'm hoping that I can be united with her soon. If anything I hope the rapture comes this year to where I can finally get off this planet and be united with the people I care about who have passed on and people I want to be with that live here on Earth. I haven't watched the video yet but I'm curious to know if there will be sex in Heaven, because that's the one thing I really want to experience with her after we get married, whenever that'll be. Jeez.
Food and wine are creations by God for us to enjoy, and when we enjoy them we experience him. Nature is also a creation that we enjoy God through. Sexual intercourse is creation, but unlike food, wine, and nature, it is a symbol of the marriage to Jesus in heaven, so it will NOT be in heaven since the symbol is less than what it represents. Childbearing will not be in heaven even though it is enjoyable because God will give us a name and place BETTER than sons and daughters. Even though nature will be in heaven, some forms of nature will not be in heaven like the sea, sun, moon, and night. The sea will be replaced by other forms of nature made better and the sun, moon, and night will be replaced by the light of God's glory. So symbols of Jesus will not be in heaven because Jesus is there and the symbol is less than him, and the things that will not be in heaven will not be there because something better is available.
I agree brother, there is no marriage covenant anymore in Heaven, but this verse is NOT conclusive proof of no sex in Heaven. Others claim if that's the case than it will be a free for all. I don't think that's it either. However, in HIS PRESENCE is fulness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore! In Gen. 6 Angels left their first state so they could come to earth and have sex with women; could this be an indication that angels have sexual desire in perfection too? If Adam and Eve had chosen to eat of the Tree of Life and lived forever....they would have been able to forever pro-create or have sex in perfection. Humans would all be walking around naked and nobody would ever have a lustful or sinful thought. Earthly is a shadow of things to come! The Heavenly is way better!
Marriage is an earthly ordinance. The LDS faith seals marriage partners on earth for eternity. They also do this ordinance by proxy in our Temples on behalf of those who have past on. Children are also sealed to their parents. What God joins on earth let no man put asunder. How joyful is that.
Sorry but none of that is biblical there is no sealing In the Bible. The Mormon religion is full of false Prophecies From false prophets do not add to the bible. It's not hard to checkhow the history of the mormon church.

2 Thessalonians 4:16. We don't die and go to heaven or hell. The Catholics made that up. Imagine how heaven would be if they're up there and seeing the misery that lives here on Earth. In any case, I'm excited for you to get to see your son in heaven one day. God bless you.

@@Taco_420 sex was meant to be on earth Not in heaven
I know this is a years old but i have to say i think everybody is missing the parable of that meaning, i don't think god would take us away from the woman we truly love it would be immoral on his part to do so a husband and wife that truly love each other it would be wrong to split them apart we have to be honest about how wrong this is
Love does not require sex. Love is a spiritual bond. Not lust.
Are you construing this as a reason to go MGTOW??? I hope not. That would be sad!

That's a hot take. I like it!
1 +1 made 2, back then. 1 +1 makes 2 now.
Mormon?
Blinded.

For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man
This passage is commonly thought to contain a list of morally neutral activities. But Darrell Bock rightly challenges the common view: “[t]he verbs may seem neutral, but anyone familiar with the flood story would know that they connote moral corruption.”
Indeed, upon closer inspection we will find that Jesus is actually warning his disciples not to participate in each pair of activities.
Genesis 6:2-3:
"And it came to pass when men began to be numerous upon the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God having seen the daughters of men that they were beautiful, took to themselves wives of all whom they chose. And the Lord God said, “My Spirit shall certainly not remain among these men forever...”
The cause-and-effect connection between illicit marriage and the flood judgment was firmly embedded in Israel’s national consciousness.

Jeremiah 3:14-19 KJV says the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL who are MARRIED TO CHRIST will “multiply", "increase", have "families", and "children" in the millennium and we won’t have the “ARK OF THE COVENANT” (God’s laws) anymore.
* (Only the UNSAVED will have physical laws in the millennium as the saints will rule over them with the Christ)
- GOD CHANGES THE LAW ALL THE TIME.
* "For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law". Hebrews 7:12 KJV.
* (God did the same thing with the Sabbath Day, circumcision, and the food laws.) * "Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression." Romans 4:15 KJV
* (“Where no law is'' implies there is a time/place where there is no law. Otherwise, the verse would make no sense)
* No law, no transgression, NO Sin."
* (The bible says in the New Testament that we are not under the old law, and we should not continue in sin the grace may abound. BUT that’s talking about this life in the New Testament. Not the afterlife where we will have no law at all.)
THIS SPIRITS CRAP IS AN ATTACK ON THE RESURRECTION!!!!!!
* Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 1 Corinthians 15:12-13 KJV
* This spirit’s stuff creates MANY doctrinal issues and contradictions in Scripture. (This spirits nonsense is a BAD TREE that needs to be cut down.)
Jesus ONLY said we will not be married and will be like the angels who are FLESH. He even clarified we are "LIVING." Which is a reference to Ezekiel calling the cherubim “living creatures” meaning they are flesh. Mark 12:25-27 KJV
BUT WAIT flesh and blood can't inherit the kingdom of God? Exactly we will be flesh and BONE in the resurrection.
1) OUR GLORIFIED BODIES ARE FLESH-
* Ezekiel 36:22-35 KJV God says he will give us a "new heart of FLESH" in the Millennium.
A spirit cannot eat food.)
* In Luke 14:15 KJV We eat bread in heaven.
* (We will be flesh and "BONE" like Jesus. No blood... The bible says we will have celestial bodies, but celestial means outside the earth not a spirit.)
2) GENDER AND CHILDREN IN HEAVEN-
* Revelation 14:1-4 KJV- the 144,000 are "virgin MEN" that come down from heaven and have not been defiled by "WOMEN". Proving gender exists. and it says ARE "present tense" it's not talking about back in their past lives.
* "virgin implies intercourse still exists and they haven't had it yet."
* Revelation 12:1-2 KJV- says there's a WOMAN clothed with the sun in heaven with child. (It’s a pregnant woman giving birth)
* IT'S NOT the Virgin Mary.
Meaning there're little children in heaven
* In Isaiah 66:22-23 KJV it says on the new earth our SEED will remain and all FLESH shall worship the lord. Meaning we will still be having children on the new earth
* (some verses say there is neither male nor female in Christ. BUT it’s not talking about heaven. It's talking about following Christ.)
3) ANGELS ARE FLESH -
* Ezekiel 10:15 KJV The cherubim are stated as "living creatures" therefore they are flesh.
They're sometimes called spirits but not literally.)
4) FORESHADOWING OF THIS-
* Genesis 4:16-17 Cain is sent to the land of Nod to know his wife/sister and have kids.
3 REASONS
1) Fornication is only a sin in this life because it is UNCLEAN, that's not a problem in our glorified bodies.
* (All the verses talking about how wicked fornication is are referring to this world in our fallen bodies.)

@@josephbrandenburg4373 Because of the "a man who dies at 100 will be thought of as a child" part?

"Not a very good case"
But the argument for no marriage in Heaven is? one single verse taken out of context?
@@InitialPC I'm not trying to say anything positive or negative here about the opposing case.
"A man who dies... will be thought of" doesn't say there will be death in heaven... but it's for the exact same reason that we can't say it's answering the question about whether there will be marriage or children in heaven. It's a poetic, symbolic passage intended for an entirely different question.
Isaiah 60 19 to 22 proves beyond a doubt generations go into eternity and beyond millennial reign the time of that is new earth and new heavens Jeremiah 33 also goes into eternity also so does Ezekiel 37 Isaiah 9 goes on forever also
As a lapsed Catholic who has been considering returning to the Church, this holds me back from being committing to being Christian.
Also good job getting away from Catholicism
I spoke with a little old Asian lady whose husband passed away a few months before, she told me that she received a vision of the new heaven and new earth and God assured her that there will be sex in heaven and it will be very good.
You’re making a fundamental mistake with the Theology, one that unfortunately most Christians also do, Adam had a perfect union with God but was still incomplete, God gave him Eve to complete him, but if Adam only had Eve, he would be incomplete, God and a spouse are two different unions which serve different purposes.
If I never marry here on earth, will Jesus unite me with my soulmate in Heaven?
No.
He is our Soulmate. But it doesn't mean that we lose each other. Our human bonds are even more complete in Him.
wow, the people on this thread replying to the original comment are heartless
NO. No such need. We become complete in Christ.
Matthew 22:30. We will be like the angels in heaven neither marrying or given in marriage.
@@sweetlittleemogirl44This sounds more like an opinion--- yours, and not Biblical.
Only between God-centered husband and wife who have been blessed in marriage.
I get it!! Yay!! Thanks, Christopher!!

You could reincarnate as the gender you prefer.
@@All_you_need_is_love2018 You mean back on earth right? If so what would I have to do to make that happen (assuming I would have to do anything at all)?

There are many ways you can imagine that still happening
For example in the unfallen perfect garden of eden, two humans, man and women were specifically designed for each other by god from one flesh in physcial bodies. Perhaps in heaven you will be designed with your 'one flesh' whom will be the only person you desire to express sex with and it will be very good in the eys of god ans you will love each other throufg god. And it will make no sense to you to be with anyone but her/him because she is your flesh, so marriage will not be needed.
It is unbiblical to insist there is no sex in heaven.

who is John Paul II?
He one of the past Popes
Jesus did not come to abolish but to fulfill. Sexual union will be fulfilled certainly but it will not be abolished
Since we are called the bride of Christ is it possible that during the rapture all the men will be changed into women? It would certainly make the term bride make a lot more sense. I mean in the womb we are female before we become male anyway . If this is what happens during the rapture then technically Jesus would have the biggest harem of women to ever exist 😂😂😂
I mean everyone’s love for Jesus would be increased even more that way too lol
Hello @Makise3 and thank you for your honest comment! This video might give more nuance to some of what you're pondering ruclips.net/video/_ynf6xYEXbY/видео.html
AMAZING message!
Jeez.
Christ must be the focus brother 🙏 As long as He is the chief desire and you're constantly in His Word you will be fulfilled
Well if god made us to have sex why wouldn’t they’re be sex in heaven ?
We said so much so is there is sex in heaven according to him ?
According to him? Don't think so
Join islam we believe in what you're asking
So symbols of Jesus will not be in heaven because Jesus is there and the symbol is less than him, and the things that will not be in heaven will not be there because something better is available.
this is a huge cop out
sex was in eden, but its a symbol and doesnt belong? nonsense
also, wine is not a symbol? NONSENSE
