    All points on the horizontal line have same y coordinate:
    - to find the distance between them, subtract x coordinates

    Defining which coordinate is x1 and x2 is not clear in the video. My understanding with regards to GA was that 2 was x1 and -2 was x2.

    What if we always use Pythagorean theorem to find out the distance between two points?

    • @InfinityLearn_NEET
      @InfinityLearn_NEET  8 лет назад

      Hi Ali, using the Pythagoras theorem may not always be a good idea! But using the distance formula as see in this video will always help :)

  • @aayushsrivastava3265
    @aayushsrivastava3265 6 лет назад +4

    Maam in this video, the distance is also being calculated by the formula of |x2-x1| and ((x2-x1)^1/2 + (y2-y1)^1/2))^(1/2). This is creating confusion.
