It depends on where you are and how far you have to go. If you are sitting at 94% and you only need one 10% claim that would be easier than sitting at 86% where you need and additional 90%. Either way, TDIU is a workaround and all you need is a vocational expert to work with your existing medical evidence.
You can file your knees as one claim just make sure your doctor pulls everything apart and attributes the different symptoms to the different rate able categories, and obviously make sure that you have a nexus🤠

Check out my video about mental health ratings. You probably are looking for an increase and if so you need to prove that your symptoms are worse. Stacking more diagnosis does not equal worse symptoms if that makes sense. ruclips.net/video/j26a2On8PpU/видео.html&t
@@CombatCraig thank you. If for some reason i get reviewed and they lower my rating, then i should go for the PACT act i guess. Thanks for your knowledge and videos! Ive passed your channel on to many so it can help them.!
Definitely don't apply for anything, but make sure you have diagnosis and documentation for those things NOW so if they lower your rating in the future you can drop the application for the new stuff on them immediately.
The VA can't give a # on your pain, they can't judge it by a mechanical or other device so it's up to you to prove or show the symptoms or pain for them to give a rating on it. Pain is a percentage, and scars are another form of percentage as well. There's ways to get secondary claims on top of your service connected claims. Residual pain could get some extra % on your claim, but you need to know the CFR and subpart # to read up on it and see how it factors into your pain. Don't know if that makes a whole lot of sense, but C.C. talks about difficult scenarios on this subject of pain and scars, and what percentage you could get for each one. Don't give up,fight and get educated through C.C. and Dwyane kimble, veteran insiders. I went from 10 to 70 been, turned down with a nexus letter on other claims but I'm gonna hit a hundred I served ,I deserve.

Can an overall rating be reduced if you open a higher level review for just a few conditions?
Yes
Just because your knees move dont mean its doing so pain free. They require too much for knees
I'm at 90% do you think it's better to apply for an increase or go for TDIU? I was diagnosed with MS during my time in service.
It depends on where you are and how far you have to go. If you are sitting at 94% and you only need one 10% claim that would be easier than sitting at 86% where you need and additional 90%. Either way, TDIU is a workaround and all you need is a vocational expert to work with your existing medical evidence.
Would these range of motion limitations be measured before Physical Therapy or after Physical Therapy takes place?
Do you have to file each one as it’s own claim? Both of my knees are bad. I just had another exam for an increase. I’m at 50% now. Thanks
You can file your knees as one claim just make sure your doctor pulls everything apart and attributes the different symptoms to the different rate able categories, and obviously make sure that you have a nexus🤠
Call me crazy 🤪 I had several injuries while on active duty, there right there in my record, cracked sternum that also injured my neck and shoulders yet I'm only service connected for low back aand veruca derma why can't I get acknowledgement on all these other injuries and that's just one
I currently have 10% for tinnitus and a rating of 50% for anxiety and insomnia. I was denied a rating for depression. I applied for anxiety, insomnia and depression. I am being treated for all three, anxiety, depression and insomnia, by a VA psychiatrist. I was prescribed Zoloft for depression. Is it worth my time to appeal the depression denial?
Check out my video about mental health ratings. You probably are looking for an increase and if so you need to prove that your symptoms are worse. Stacking more diagnosis does not equal worse symptoms if that makes sense.
ruclips.net/video/j26a2On8PpU/видео.html&t
No, as the VA only give you SC for one mental disability. No matter how many DX you have. You can appeal the actual percentage.
Should i go for the PACT act even if im 100% p&t? It could affect the rating right?
Yeah, you have everything to lose nothing to gain. I wouldn’t take that bet.
Yes i have it all! Thanks for the info!

What about you get a knee replacement but your knee flexion is a problem and also there is residual pain most of the time.
Get your doctor on board to document everything properly and file that winning claim!
@@jessemarin5044 l just learn leave with pain, sinse 1988 first with a ACL reconstruction, fail ACL reconstruction and now a privet TKR that went sour. Same or more pain it's hard, but the fact that it's what what is knew is that it is getting very difficult getting in or out of a car or a small sub, can't kneel, worst it's very difficult getting dressed specifically due to my right knee. I'm 56, 100% IU-PT Permanent in Nature.
Mobility in any shape or form is a bigger issue due to my knee total replacement. And if I go down with my sc - back conditions.
@@CombatCraig My friend, I'm 56, got my IU-PT effective in 1996, "Permanent in Nature" don't know what that means?
I'd cross both my 20 ys & 55ys bench mark. Pain and mobility after my right TKR is worst 2d, point nowadays itimore difficult for me to get in and out of a car. That's just an example. Meaning standing up, seating, kneeling, on my bed dressing up and alot of other things are complicated.
Here u will find this more interesting, my knee replacement was performed in January 2020,
I know a knee replacement is a 30% and that's what I had already. I've not notified the VA about my knee replacement it was around and when covid 19 make it's way thought the word and everything was closed or care was limited.
My point is the flexion of the knee it's worst now.
Not 2 mentioned that I got a 24/7 after VAM lumbar blockage that leaved me with parasthesia of same the right leg.
Off topic somewhat but what do you do if the VA underpays you?
I'm 100 p&t and was paid yesterday but was underpaid by $727.13.
Odd thing is, the VA never pays on a Wednesday either ... Any help would be great guys that k you!
Yeah I got paid yesterday as well. If the amount wasn’t right I would call the VA for clarification👍
@@CombatCraig on it as we speak
Thank you combat craig

@@Nsands81 you too man👍
Is there anything like this for ankles?
Here you go man!

Combat Craig do you know how a TDIU veteran can get SSDI ?
Please respond?
I had surgery on my right knee while I was serving active duty. I’m currently rated very low for the knee. It’s been a year since surgery and I’m still having issues. Should I file for an increase or what is your recommendation?
yes I would file for an increase. I had surgery on my knee as well from a torn meniscus and torn ACL. I initially only got 10% due to pain. but that was because I said my knee was working fine but had sharp shooting pain. now I'm at 40%. 10% for pain, 20% for instability, and 10% for restricted flexion
May I ask who is speaking for the majority of the video?
Sure it’s a doctor that specializes in medical evidence to support veterans claims 🤠
I filed for an increase and it’s been closed for over a week and still no updates on ebenefits. Does this mean it was denied as my other case showed up the same day on Ebene. Thank you
Nope the process takes about five months man. It’s probably gonna take a couple weeks for it to show up and get started.🤠
Thank you so much you are a great person for doing this. Happy Holidays!
@@geraldsshorts6270 thanks man🤠
Since tinnitus can’t be claimed in 2023 due to changes and a veteran already has SC for it prior to it, would it be “poking the bear” to attempt an C&P for Menieres disease in 2023?
I am not aware of any changes that are taking place with regard to tinnitus ratings in 2023. If you have both and they are part of your overall strategy I would file both man!
What does permanent mean? Is that for life?
Nah its just a word that is misleading. Protected after 20 years is the only word that matters man👍
He's right. Permanent is a word the VA uses to trick veterans into thinking they are safe. We are NEVER safe with the VA. Until after 20 years.
@@CombatCraig is that 20 years from the initial rating, or from any increase claim? Thanks!
@@christinesantelli3828 20 years from the effective date. If you got an increase in the old rating is protected in the new Rating has 20 years ago the clock restarts.🤠
I know you can recieve more than 100%, secondary conditions 😎
Yeah, if you have a special monthly compensation claim that you can actually make, then it might be worth going for above 100%🤠
Marry Xmas 🎅 ❤😂😂
Merry Christmas to you too!
VA put my broken left thumb on continue, what is meant by that
Not quite sure what you are referring to. If you filed a claim for your thumb and you haven't received your decision letter yet I would wait for it to arrive so you can see exactly how they arrived at the decision and then you can decide which appeal lane you want to take if you don't agree with the decision.
Ok,you have just answered my question. Thanks

Currently and continued, means no change in your rating.
