Cool, this game gets really hard when you don’t have unlimited amo
With all the jumping from high places Joel is going to have trouble with his hips, knees and ankles one of these days and he might have a hard time finding a surgeon or a therapist to help. Anti biotics and anesthesia would be hard to come by and I think that in a world like that they would constantly have a problem with infections. Even the slightest scratch, a rotten tooth or bad food could prove fatal and there are plenty of places to get a scratch it seems. Life would certainly be short, nasty and brutish even without the infected. This game should make us appreciate all the advantages we enjoy at present and hope that they continue.
I was thinking the same thing about the jumping off of high places, my ankles hurt just watching it. Then there is fighting and killing them with fists, nothing like opening a cut on the hand on some infected head. But it is a game.

The remake is amazing. I just played it on phat ps3 for old time sake and it's hard to go back to even though that's where I fell in love. Plus, you know, the fan noise makes it sound like a jet engine commercial airliner is flying above my house the entire time.

It is easy to make this game look simple when you have unlimited resources. Do a playthrough using only the bow and undetected. This video is an amateur play sample 🤣🤣

what cheats are you using? I don't see you scavenge ever and you always have ammo. How is this Grounded?
The TV show completely ruined the Bill's town part, and Bill's character. No interaction between Bill and Ellie? C'mon. No jaded, curmudgeonly Bill? Nothing against the actors who played Bill and Frank, they did a fine job. But - really? Two guys living in an apocalypse for - what was it? Ten YEARS? Just sitting around and having all the food they could eat and drinking wine? And no going through the town with Joel and Ellie, no school scene with the bloater?
I know it's a different medium and they weren't going to have all the shoot-em-ups and violent blood baths of the game. But, hey, on the other hand, The Walking Dead was pretty violent and bloody, so why not? They didn't have to have it to the same extent as the game, but SOME kind of danger to the characters would've been indicative of the urgency they were in. I'm sure the budget played SOME role in how they did it. But, c'mon.
The reason Joel has to get across the country with Ellie is so she can save mankind from - you know - the INFECTED. So more encounters with Infected would've been better than what we got.
