I love this song because it really isn't "dark" in the usual Mili way... Usually we have existential crisis, the pain of sacrifice and morality, horrors of the realness of humanity and how ugly it can be... Here? pure, unfiltered emotion is what makes it ""dark"" all while Cassie sings in a really light and ethereal way... See no evil, Speak no evil, Hear no evil... this song is filled with bitterness, envy, cowardice, courage, nostalgia, depression, delusion, self doubt, expectations and dissapointment, every line feeling like a stab directly to the heart in an attempt to silence it, because it speaks truth, a truth that hurts more than all of those stabs combined, a truth that, for lack of a better way to put it, would've shaterred everything within and around you if you were to acknowlege it... and the sad thing is that, by the end of the song, you know that only silence remains, it's in the title after all...
@GrimGrooves2 The group also did both openings. ("Rightfully", and "Entertainment") But the piece I mentioned is really cool. There's also "Static", "Within" as well as a few shorter tracks like "Pack Mentality"
Phillip is completely fine and and having a nice day in this song, just dont look into it too much... I'm not fine though! Had to do this eon-spanning fight twice to get the page I wanted!
