But the old FS games had good bosses, hard to believe nowerdays, I know.

All of the bosses have movesets too attack a player Malenia has so much of her moveset built around floating, unlimited dodging, stagger recover, and with the heal on hit and nuke with damage over time she ends up countering many bosses just because they are slow and all their attacks are designed for grounded players
Spam roll and spam aow. Knocks her on her ass each time. Rinse and repeat. From must have simped over her as life steal is a cheap way to make an otherwise easy fight difficult
Remember Preceptor Miriam? The guy in the normal and inverted Carian Study hall? How would that guy fare against npcs or even bosses, if he can use his teleportation outside his arena as well?
There's a video someone made on all NPCs against a Runebear (the strongest one?) One at a time. Miriam was a total _cheat_ lol, she just teleported out of every attack, not one hp of damage taken. She could cancel animations to teleport away and fire magic arrows at the bear. It was a fight in futility, for the Runebear. Miriam vs all bosses would be something. Against more than one foe or multiple projectiles shooting out at her at once, she has to take damage from something at some point
the key to beating malenia is to, first, not be on the same planet as her while she does her attacks and, second, to do an absurd amount of damage before she can even react

Full grown fallingstar beat nvrn did his insane laser attack on his normal ai pattern if he did it consistently like rhadans meteor attack it would be so much stronger
The second video where Fallingstar Beast busts out the lasers twice for Malenia, once per phase, and misses the second time completely, and fatally (I think the first time was more he died from a rot nuke before he set it off, but still, tragic)

Malenia moved and countered much more fluidly and effectively than in an earlier video, where she appeared to be sleepwalking against laser G and other bosses. 😂 And moving the arena outdoors made it much easier to watch how graceful she dances when fighting. I wish FromSoft made something where normies-who-don’t-code like me could full-on play the bosses and demigods. Playing Melania would be amazing.
Isn’t Godskin noble too big, too? Only bosses she could grab and it not look super jank are Gideon, maybe Elemer, maybe herself, and maybe Nial. It comes down to being bigger than the one you’re grabbing, and if the animation closely connects the models, i.e. one of Astel’s grabs puts the target in its mouth, which wouldn’t look right for bosses >= godskin noble, whereas Astel’s other "grab" lifts everything in an area into the air, which works for any boss

When she recovered health after the golem had already fallen, it reminded me of times when I was in a survival situation and needed to heal before the next boss/ wave came in. I checked the health bar and was wondering "does this still count and heal?? Nice." (Not sure if it happened before the laser golem. Don't feel like checking. However, since it's a big target, it's always cool seeing how many extra heals you can get after it fell.)
I can't get over how stupid the Godskin Noble's roll is. Does it for as long as he wants, turns without any problem, does big damage, and it's nearly impossible to hit him out of it.

Also, pretty much all the lasers from golem wiffed or it maybe would have ended her like the chad it is. Guess it just got flustered waking up and finding itself matched up against the rot goddess herself.
I mean regardless of whether she lucked out here and there or not, there's still no other boss that could even attempt this challenge. I have to wonder if there's another boss that could survive just two of these guys.

I just recently got elden ring and I’m having so much fun. I chose astronomer (magic Ik, ew 🤢) and I just beat marrgot the fell omen and I also just discovered the big dragon that gives multiple runes. Now my character is at level 36 and I’m actually having difficulty with Goodrick the Grafted. I’ve got rock sling and whatever the astronomers pebble move is and then the one mace that has bleed on it, I’ve also got radagon’s soreseal and the bubbletear and the other tear that restores hp for a small duration, so any tips?
My takeaway from this video: Leonard is the one summoning the rocks, not Radahn.
