You still managed a nice harvest despite the slow start. A good honest depiction of Fall mushroom hunting in the PNW. They are not always halcyon days. Although I haven't gone in several years, that weather reminds me of elk hunting conditions on the Olympic Peninsula!
Thanks. I had to move spots at the beginning because we weren't the first there. Good thing we did. We found a good amount just down below the other foragers vehicle. 😅
Hey Brother , great video !! Nice to see the video from the trip you mentioned. Just got back from the Snoqualmie Pass area and was very cool and wet as well. Found a good amount but was from both ends of the spectrum. Either we got beautiful buttons or we came across monster decomposing wormy ones. There was an abundance of other fungi as well. Great haul for you and Johnny. Look forward to foraging soon . Thanks for showing some real world mushroom foraging, no matter what the weather is. Makes you appreciate all the work that commercial foragers do to bring the mushrooms to market. Thanks Brother 💪✌🍄
Thanks for saying all that. Lots of other mushrooms were out. It's been a while since seeing a site like that in the forest. Need to be colder for them boletes to be less wormy. Happy foraging, bro. 😃
Hey bro! I am watching all your videos, you are my mushroom hero! I just moved recently to Portland, was in couple forests around ,but was not lucky with my mushroom haunting. My wife couldn't believe her eyes when seeing your videos! Would you be able to give us some tips of where to go or what forestes to pick? Thank you in advance! Keep it going!
Your soaking wet but the mushrooms are worth it😊. But why do you also take the baby one? I wish we have those here in the Phil. Great shrooming as always👍
The first crop of King boletes is mostly wormy. I take it all out to give the future crops in that area to be less infected with worms. Even the small ones can be wormy. 70% were wormy in this area. Later I will farm it. Other forager don't seem to know they grow there. 😃
I use YouCut . I'm shooting Director's View on my Samsung 23 Ultra. I just mostly trim and do a little voice-over. I'm still in the learning process, too. 😆 🤣
@Matsutake_Girl I think you can only get better as you go. Don't get too worked up over editing. I think most viewers will understand that, too. I just keep shooting and posting as i go and learn along the way. 😃 😊 Good luck to us. Happy Foraging. 👍

@@mushroomsforagingadventures love this! Thanks!!☺️
Who is Johnny and why does he get you as his personal forager?
He's a good friend of mine. He loves to come out with me on my foraging adventures when he is able to. He's just a great human being.
Sounds like a awesome guy and you as well for picking for him! Hope to see Johnny in a future video!@@mushroomsforagingadventures
