Cool little boat! Seems like it doesn't tip easy, but damn it turns fast! I have only had 2 boats in my life, as far as I can remember . A Proboat Widowmaker that was similar to this really, maybe slightly larger, but higher cost. It had some problems with propellers and I think this is probably better in some ways. I also have a Traxxas Spartan. Now, that one cost more and is amazing. But, pricey. $40 for this is good low cost RC fun! Cool boat and video! Thumbs UP!

I was expecting it to just sort of put around rather slowly for the price. I was pretty surprised at the performance of it too :-D If you happen to drive these in salt water, rinse them off with a hose pretty thoroughly after running them ;) Have fun!

You should try a Parrot HYDROFOIL it's the best of both with a normal flying mode and tricks then the boat side also a camera on it. I haven't tested my one on water yet but is super easy to switch beetween. Cool video my friends. ✌

Nate, I like the "early-stage stache" look. Seriously though, appreciate the video. For $40 that looks great but I was curious about how the internal boat looked post-run. Was there any water in there or was it pristine (how I'd expect it to be)? Also, as you jump up in price, is there a significant difference in feature/capabilities and if so at what level do you really start seeing it? Lastly, there appeared to be a digital screen on the remote (controller) but we didn't get to see what, if anything, it showed. I've yet to click on the link and am about to do that -so I'm sorry if some of the questions are redundant as they are answered by the link.
I found spare batterys for $10,thought that was expensive until I saw they wanted $18 on the Amazon site where the boat was listed,should have ordered two darn it.Generally,I never order a spare battery until I test the RC out.

Walmart carries this online. Also, I used the guts from mine to rebuild my old wheeler express yacht model. Had to swap the SkyTech motor since the brushes do not like running hard for long periods of time, but that may be due to me having put in a larger boat. *Transmitter beep is actually boat battery. This boat does talk to the transmitter about the onboard battery level.
I was looking up fishing stuff, and found this video. I've never owned an arc powered boat, so have no experience with them. When I saw you going easy at first, I was thinking, not bad. Then you went full throttle, and I shit myself. Any idea what the range is, and if you think this would go with a 3-5 ounce sinker on top of it? My plan would be to let it take my sinker bait and hook out as far as possible, flip the bail and drop her in. Any ideas?
I have this little RC and you will have to grease the drive shaft at the inner back of the craft after a bit to keep the hull from filling with water. Other than that it is a really nice RC.

What is the difference between this 100 and the 101 version? I notice that the 101 is self righting and is actually cheaper. Interested in your opinion and if you had a chance to test a 101.

that is a regular remote wat before those trigger style remotes became the norm. I'm 43 now but when i was 10ish before quad copters that was a standard rc remote when triggers became the norm i stopped enjoying it

yea I got one to but it's green and gray and a different body and you can't go backwards with it much it will flood the inside and I got confused to why was it not working because I had to put it on the water 🤣
that little boat is a lot faster than I thought it would be, 40.00 is cheap for it and does prove just how much these hobby rc cars or whatever is marked up, like they say toys are more expensive
I don't think so, I sold my rc collection 5 years ago, It was all cars and trucks with 1 boat, 43 models complete from 1/36 up to 1/6 scale, In this part of the country, rc models don't sell well
