Dude, the tragic sounding violin gives me FEELS, especially seeing what happened to Dail. Makes me wonder if the song is making you feel as if your death will be tragic, or if its representing his tragic fate to Brevon
I actually thought that in the Spade DLC that never was that Dail was going to be the final boss of his DLC and like dying in the process, for also to Spade to die in the process to save his brother in a E-102 Gamma way but apparently this is not a thing, sadly.

Oh yeah, definitely, once you get the hang of 'em! :D ...but I'm actually so bad at the game that it took me a very long time to get any good at them. I could only beat them as Milla for the longest time. xD
Leila R. Wilson wait, really? The second Dail battle is quite tough, I agree, but the first one isn't that bad. All you really need to do to beat the first Dail battle is stay at a distance when he uses the radial lightning and move up or down when he dives at you. The first fight just doesn't seem all that tough to me. So apparently the DLC with Torque and Milla's story mode is coming this month, but we have no defined date yet and we're halfway through the month. Can you reassure me it's coming this month? I really, REALLY want it! ;-;
I honestly don't have a clue if it's coming this month, however (don't go telling the whole world XD) ...I have completed both tracks for Torque's level. It was requested they were done by December 22nd, although I don't know the significance of the date. I'm hoping it's out then!! I don't know about Milla's storymode, but we need it badly. :
Yes it does. It kind of reflects back to Sonic 2 a little bit with the boss fights in that game, as well as maybe a little influence from Wiley's stage in Megaman
First Encounter: As you destroy the Earth, Flame and Metal Carriers, the skies grow dark, and Prince Dail flies in on his Avian mech. He tells you: "Prepare to face Justice! Surrender!" You defiantly yell: "Not a chance!" He retorts: "So you've chosen DEATH. HOW PATHETIC!" Your fight against Dail begins. Second [and Final] Encounter: You see the Tao Serpent. You look up to see Prince Dail. He says: "I'm glad you made it this far. Now watch as I put an end to your PATHETIC LIVES!" [I don't remember the exact quote.] Your final battle with the brainwashed prince begins. Notes on the music itself: The music paint Dail as a sorrowful prince, attempting to avenge his father. It fits well for him.
I love how from this point onward it feels like the ost is written by an entirely different person(maybe BlueWarrior & Woofle split their work for 2 halves of the ost). It is more serious and has a sort of colder, dryer feel to the songs, and has a louder bass. Has anyone else noticed this?
So I learned pretty recently in all forms of dail's second battle, _you get a free shot at his shield_ Lilac can just dragon boost into it. Mila hovers before letting out a giant laser in his face. And carol can just wall climb before jumping in for a couple of kicks
This music and this entire game both kick ass! :D but yeah I will admit, both times you fight him are really frustrating >_< I died like 30 times before I beat his peacock monster (that sounded wrong lol) although the hardest boss imo is that humongous dragon in stage 7
Rutger van den Heuvel Or just getting into the space between them. This was really easy as Carol because I still had the Gray shield and it made a lot of his attack ineffective.
Out of all the boss battle themes, this is probably the one I'm MOST familiar with. Yeah, I know, the Dreadnought boss battles have every right to take that spot, but this track is just more memorable to me.
This song makes me wonder if Prince Dail was originally going to be a tragic boss where the protagonists try to save him and snap him out of Brevon's mind control/corruption, but tragically fail and have their hands forced to do what was necessary.

I remember I once used this theme while fighting Ewiyar's Overdrive phase without knowing the actual boss with this theme look like. Turns out Ewiyar looks fairly similar to Prince Dail's mecha; no wonder I enjoyed the fight with this theme.
I'm probably the only one who didn't find his Peacock to be too difficult (see how I'm avoiding innuendoes here). I still can't beat it without dying once though. XD
huh, i'm kind of surprised that so many people find it hard, i mean it's kind of a simple fight, I've beat it with each character, each fight has point's where you're safe, from all attacks. (minus the one attack he does between landing a full hit on him)
Peacock was not hard at all. Most of peacock's attacks had pretty easy tells. It's average difficulty on most characters and as lilac its almost too easy.
Oh! both of these fights are amazing! And all accompanied by this fine theme that makes it hard to choose what's my favorite boss track. Yes, even Battle Glacier boss was fun with Lilac. You can kinda two hit him with Dragon Boost and a kick if you know what are doing and end it much faster, it even might be my favorite of the two tbh. I just wish this game had some sort of boss rush mode or "skip to the boss" mode because as much as I like that fight... it feels tiresome going through the stage itself for 7-8 minutes.
