You are right, no one has made a video like this! Like explaining it slowly to create a picture in our minds. I am in Truck Driving School. Some things you are pointing at we don't get to see it but could you go over it again. Pre-trip in Cab and checking for air leaks if the compressor can not compensate. And just the gauges in all. Thank you so much and Thank you for all you do 🚚
Thanks bro. Had a kind of ruff 1st day at work today. I didnt know to drive 13 gears..1-10 im fine.... ill say this.mi wish a person would havve explained it to like this instead of trying to sabatoge my new driver position for whatever reason..... now i get it...may just have to practice more... appreciate you bro
Even is for you boss , I have been an apprentice for more than a year , my master did not teach me this .thank you sir , I'm a light vehicle driver in dubai , I'm now planning to go for heavy trucks licence.
Nice and simple to understand bro, I just need a little bit or more practice with the rpms and will be fine. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience to the new truckdrivers ! 😜🤙
You are perfect thanx so much for this video ....I was looking for video like this .... no other person I saw did video like this explaining supper nice like u
Nicely explained brother, I know how to drive 10 and 13 speed been driving for 8years on road and local , very well explained to new drive , start with 10 speed first to get comfortable with the pattern 👏 👍 😀
Nice video, I have never been so clear like I am with this video, so simple and easy to follow. Most of these videos explain on gear shifting but I would like you to teach us how to go about change down.
It's all about rpm. First lower rpm to 900-1000 by easing off gas or break, then clutch out of gear to neutral, then revv up to 14-1500 rpm and clutch in to lower gear. Rpm is the king
I watched the first few minutes of this video and was showing a newer employee how to shift better my first day in one and when you said it’s like a nine speed you have to watch the rpms
i been driving 10 speed for many years no splitter so got new truck i drive it like 8 speed with occasional splitter use as needed i though it was 8 speed r but i just found out its a 13 speed 6 month later haha. I pretty much drive it like 8 speed with splitter when needed. So I only been using splitter as i feel needed am i doing it wrong am i always supposed to split??? it shifts smooth no problem when i dont
How do u down shift with 13 speed like 10 speed I know to slow down throw it in neutral coast cut my corner and catch the 5 gear give a little fuel to it and feel it but idk 13 speed like that

I loved the way you explained this. Thanks so much.
Nice and simple to understand bro, I just need a little bit or more practice with the rpms and will be fine.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience to the new truckdrivers ! 😜🤙
I have enough trucking experience that I don't look at the RPMs to shift, I go off the sound
Thanks mate, I now understand much better, better then all the other tutorials.

That's was so cool....I learnt a lot out here with this short video
Best explanation on the internet
thank you, it's not really difficult, now i need to practice in a manual transmission track
Nice video, I have never been so clear like I am with this video, so simple and easy to follow. Most of these videos explain on gear shifting but I would like you to teach us how to go about change down.
would be nice how to change down when slowing down
Can you make a video on three stick gear livers...or explain what exactly is the pattern to shift... your words and step by step explained is great ☺️
I always think of this as three
4-speeds with an ultra low low gear for starting.
13 speed trucks are great i am driving one now it's a peterbuilt. well ok not now i am off for x-mas. if i was driving now i wouldn't be typing. lol
I have been looking for this. Thanks I have got it
Very helpful, thank you sir. I salute you.
I was actually hoping you would drive it. Come on be brave!
Thanks much love
Great explanation, thanks ! JC
well explained
Thanks 😊
Going forward and engaging gears i have understood, how about when your reducing speed and coming back from gear 13 to lower gears?
It's all about rpm. First lower rpm to 900-1000 by easing off gas or break, then clutch out of gear to neutral, then revv up to 14-1500 rpm and clutch in to lower gear. Rpm is the king

Man don't know what ole boy was during
Good teacher 👏
Great Video !
Great explanation bro. Is that bird shit on your windshield? 😂
💯💯💯💯
Did he said use the clutch? That’s crazy you should never touch that clutch except for taking off or coming to a complete stop
i been driving 10 speed for many years no splitter so got new truck i drive it like 8 speed with occasional splitter use as needed i though it was 8 speed r but i just found out its a 13 speed 6 month later haha. There an easier way drive reverse and neutral 😁 but great video .
If am new in USA and I need a CDL license what should I do guys
If yourcreducing speed like you want to stop, do you bring down the gears?
Add how to downshift after upsetting all the way
Upsetting sorry about spelling
What about downshifting? What speed do you downshifting to 10-11 8-9 6-7?
Is it the same way with day cab tractor without trailer?
How do u down shift with 13 speed like 10 speed I know to slow down throw it in neutral coast cut my corner and catch the 5 gear give a little fuel to it and feel it but idk 13 speed like that
Reverse your shifting with switch forward the then back
Exactly my question
You don't have to use the clutch to shift in a semi
If you have to start in low fully loaded your truck ain't got balls! Start in 1st granny should almost never be used.
What type of machine wizardry
..!?
What about down shift ?
How do u downshift ?
Change down bro show us
Wow
Kinda wrong lol
Low is first and 1st is 2nd, go from there bro.
2 many mistakes you made !!!
Horrible
You make it easy
