I know things are ruff right now with covid, but just remember there are worse places to be stuck. You guys are living the dream and having your kids so close all the time is just wonderful. My 'sailing' has been transmission work on a buddy's Amel, and cleaning/modifying my catamaran stuck in the Chesapeake. It sure is nice to watch your videos and see some folks who are doing it right. Renee - greetings from New Jersey! kiting isn’t that tough. The boys have a different balance issue than us women and I think it’s easier for us to learn. Our lower center of gravity helps. Finally, a spot where some ballast in the butt helps. You’ll love it. Just start out in some nice shallow water - where you can stand. ✌️

We often have kiteboarders in my towns harbour. I’ve been kicking myself to try as I’m a snowboarder in the winter months but looking for something to do in the warmer months. Can you make a video or a clip or in your questions on how to start when you have nothing? What to buy? What does what and a channel (or yourself) on how to not die your first ride😂 Id love to give this a shot for the warmer season!
I’m more of a learn as you go person but like to know the “how to not die” list to study before I try. Yes, to a life jacket and yes, to more research before I try but would like your tips and tricks!

I’d say about 8 or 10 if they can handle a trainer kite. Finn was half the size he is now when he started learning last year (yea, he’s grown a LOT this past year).

Had no idea you could get data from your kiting by those things they charge and add below the board. But in today's world - OF COURSE they can do this! I'm sure there is NO competition with comparing the data on the boat right? lol

Question. How big do kids need to be, to be kiting comfortable? Do you clip into the boots like snowboarding or more like wake boarding.

I’d say about 8 or 10 if they can handle a trainer kite. Finn was half the size he is now when he started learning last year (yea, he’s grown a LOT this past year).
