- This is a look at the Phoenix Arizona Desert Botanical Garden in Papago Park. I would say this one of the top Botanical Gardens I have ever been to and I do recommend it for a visit for all of those of you who plan to do any gardening in Arizona. So in other words if you plan to move to Phoenix, then this would be a great place to explore.
Living in Arizona is quite a unique experience because of the vastness that the state offers. From the Sonoran Desert in the south to the high country in the north all the way up towards the Four Corners east and the Grand Canyon in the west. Known as the Grand Canyon state, Arizona is diverse in many ways. The state tree is the Palo Verde, the state cactus is the Saguaro, the state bird is the Cactus wren. Top notch. Expertly designed and so well presented. I had the privilege of visiting these spectacular gardens six or seven years ago. Fantastic.
It kinds of reminds me some áreas from Tecate,..great vídeo!
I love botanical gardens.
Ese paseó o caminata estuvo espectacular ver todos esos cactus 🌵🌵🌵
For years, I didn’t care for the desert...whether because of driving with my little brother and parents through the desert in the middle of summer on our way to Kansas, or being sick with the flu in the 115-degree Mojave Desert, I just couldn’t appreciate it being a kid. As an adult, I made many a trip to Palm Springs and Indio, but in the winter and early spring. Now that I’ve made eleven yearly trips to the gem and mineral shows in Tucson, I have grown to totally love the desert of Arizona. Thank you for giving me a tour of your lovely botanical gardens! 😍
Thank you again it is so beautiful there thank you I love when you come on here you share and you give a lot of information I love that thank you so much
Thank you Paula for the positive Feedback!
We're from WV and visited Phoenix last week (scoping out the areas to relocate)and this was one of our stops. Very interesting to learn about desert life/ plants. We went on Tuesday and didn't realize it was community day (no charge) they do accept donations though :)
I was there last year it's a beautiful place. Thanks Jeff for sharing this video for everyone to see.!!!
Yep I'm glad I found this video ! Giving me some great ideas for my 20 acres 😁
☀️ Sweet intro! And quick just like it should be! 🌵
Our beautiful desert ❤️ Thank you for the tour Jeff!
Beautiful place, thanks for taking us along Jeff! There is a stunning botanical garden in Hilo, HI for anyone interested. Very different than the desert; fantastic contrast to what you went through in your tour. Beautiful landscape you have down in Arizona!
Simplemente fantástico me encanta Arizona al igual que sonora,🙂
it's a beautiful place. Nice video. Thanks Jeff.
Excellent
What a big garden! I would love to own one someday.
I was there last month and it's awesome. Thanks for posting this.
One of my favorite places I’ve visited. Was so much more than I expected. This video was great but just wait until you see it in person. It’s a must! When I visited it just so happen to be when they were celebrating Day of the Dead and they had a special parade and ceremony. Was really neat! The night pass is totally worth it (not sure if that’s run year around or just specific dates) but all the cacti and plants are lit up in stunning display throughout the entire park. Absolutely loved the botanical garden and I went in expecting to be very underwhelmed. I hope everyone gets a chance to visit!
Wow- beautiful Botanical Garden! Some of those paths are pretty narrow,though-with my luck, I'd get stuck by the cactus walking through there.
I'm mentally preparing for the winter up here in NY state. Maybe putting this on the big screen could be an antidote.
This garden opened in 1939. Cactus grow slowly.
Reminds me when we were up at Montezuma Lake and Castle Monument near Cottonwood.
I enjoyed the garden walk... Now I can blame to having gone down the garden path!🙄🤗😁
Nice video
Visual lindo demais.
Good rock work or stone work as we call it in the UK doesn't need and cement at all.
I many areas, particularly the North of England, you will see thousands of drystone walls in rural areas. They are all made without cement. Many are 100s of years old
I'm planning a trip to PHX next spring yes I know that's 13 months from now but thanks for this video! How long do you need to visit the garden? 2 or 3 hours and how much is it?
“That is a Fig!” “Yep Fig.”
Wacht out for the rattlers and Gila monsters on those trails
Cover lawn care, fencing and patios plz
39$ to get in.
