They really need to make more mono-Fish and mono-Sea Serpent archetypes, with Fish needing it the most of the 3 types. Sea Serpent has Deep Sea and Atlantean, but the only pure Fish archetype is Fishborg - which is a Synchro spam archetype with exactly 0 Synchro monsters to go into (lol). White Aura was an archetype in the manga but when printing those cards they decided to turn those cards into generic Fish support (Due to the archetype's name "White" being waaaaay too generic). Same with "Shark" - which was also a proper archetype from the Anime/Manga turned generic support. So yeah, give Fishborg a Synchro or two, maybe make the White Aura half of the "White" manga archetype into an actual archetype, and give us 1 or 2 more pure Fish archetypes. Plz Konomoney, give me the incentive necessary to throw hundreds of dollars in your face! And while you're at it make the Reptile archetypes good for once and throw Payne a few Pyro-typed bones.

Sea Serpents are dragons from the ocean (the japanese name for the type is Sea Dragon), Dragons are just generic dragons, and Wyrms are like a more spiritual version of them. Coelacanth was my first holo and since then I decided I was meant to build a fish deck. Then the first fish tuners came out and I was set. Thanks to ZeXal and Shark Kastle we got a bunch of fish to that can do a lot of stuff, but I still need to summon Coelacanth with Tribute Doll so that's a problem.
i would argue that rapier is a better card than broadbull. broadbull may search any beast warrior but rapier goes + 4 on its own while a broadbull "just" searches a card. also if you include other cards its goes up to +6 with emerald and norden fusion sub shenanigans make it go to the next level of enlightenment. its basically tiger but for any deck that wants to have monster on bord for free.
I honestly think Snake Rain is why Konami's not releasing a good Reptile deck. That, or they don't care. Here's to hoping one day Venoms get support, I'd love to see Venominaga played a bit (which they could make that easier since nowasays she's much less busted since Kaijus exist)

Scattershot is pretty good, but how could the pyro entry not be firestorm guards? It's a free ass draw 2 for any deck that can fill it's grave with pyros. Admittedly, volcanic is the only deck that does that, but that's just a coincidence.
Judging by how Konami works, they'll release another monster type within the next 2 booster sets in order to make this video irrelevant. My money is on "plasma" type or some such nonsense.
The new type has to be something that should overlap hard with a type we already have that's actually good. My money's on either a "Soldier" type or a "Spirit" type.

Here’s a question, do you think most monsters on the Konami Banlist are there because they lack the hard “once per turn clause”? And could/should Konami just slap that onto said monsters and throw them back into the game at least at 1?
Beast warrior has gladiator beasts, fire fists, luna lights, and zoodiacs, and you trying to tell me that winged beast and beast are both better? You also haven't mentioned aqua, cyberse, fairy, and fiend. None of those are even close to being as good as beast warrior. Even considering toad, salad, christya, and burning abyss. How many other types have had 2 tier 0 decks, and at least one other that's been tier 1 multiple times? Beast warrior is easily in the top 5 best types.
The discussion was less towards the archetypes actual typing unless it was relevant, for instance salamngreats were and still are an incredibly powerful meta deck because salamangreats are good AND they benefit from a massive load of support. So while glads and zoodiacs were definitely powerhouses, it was less to do with them being typed as they were, and more their archetype being designed exetremely powerfully. Aqua is higher due to our required dave bias and swap frog, fairy has some absolutely insane typal support, and the same is true with fiends. But like he said if you join the discord you can make your voice heard!

So therefore any deck that can put 2 level 4 monsters on bored can set up any cheesy wombo combo they want. Crow came back in one of the later spin offs (Arc V? i think) so there was at least SOME reason to give him a few cards, but yeah. These two decks have a huge fan base for some odd reason and Konami must have figured out that by sticking a HERO or blackwing in a set, they ca boost sales. Personally i GET it, but its really annoying. There are tons of decks that are like 1 card away from being a playable strat, and they get skipped year after year.

Personally i GET it, but its really annoying. There are tons of decks that are like 1 card away from being a playable strat, and they get skipped year after year.
Yeah mbt really made that nasty control fish deck ... Or just showed it off w.e I run it on yugioh lod on Xbox its nasty 3 omni negates turn 1 and reacurring toads from shark combos and cealacanth reacuring and not just 1 per trn effect activates ... Its actually stupid you can even buster lock a savage trn1 if you wanted ...

Video is unhelpful to new/learning players. Call cards by their real name. Needle fiber isn’t a card as discord informed me, relatively rudely when I tried to find it.(edited to be less rude)
More accurately, I haven’t played since approximately synchro era, and am trying to learn about the modern yugioh game. Someone had to give me the real names of cards you were talking about
Because it took so long for Halqifibrax to be released in the TCG everyone got used to calling it by the unofficial translation of Needlefiber.
