Oh wow, I was just in the Live Chat of this video's premiere, and so many people were posting heartfelt comments about how much TWOW meant to them! Especially the wave of o7s. It really makes me grateful that this community has come together around my projects, sometimes without me even being there. And it's a reminder that all those late nights and programming sessions I did years ago - they left their impact on others in some way or another!
To be honest, TWOW has been around for so long, I don't know if my brain has fully processed that there is no next TWOW episode. Either way, thanks so much to everyone who's been watching for the last 7 years, and especially to the contestants who've participated. Thanks to the enthusiasm from you guys, TWOW has grown into one of the biggest projects and communities I've been a part of!

TWOW and its community introduced me to so many wonderful people, showed me hobbies and interests that make up who I am today, and defined the entirety of my teenage years. What started off as a fun little word gameshow truly made a huge impact on our lives -- thanks so much for all your hard work, Cary. I used to be a student who were still poor at English when I had been eliminated on first episode. Then I got some enthusiasm to miniTWOWs when they began. Out of 50+ joins I won just a few times. I used to be more selfish than now.

Bit late to commenting but I wanna thank you so much for creating a community like this and hosting this gameshow. It's been fun checking out the episodes throughout the years and even being able to host my own, and to become one of the biggest hosts of all time. Made a lot of new friends throughout my years in the TWOW community and been able to learn new skills through it. Crazy how much things can change in a span of few years.
Thank you Cary for making this happen! I was one of the 491 contestants to ever participate in this camp, even though I was barely eliminated in the second episode, I felt like it was a unique experience and now I felt so nostalgic all of a sudden ;)

It's bittersweet to see TWOW finally come to a close. On one hand, it's sad that this is likely the final TWOW episode of all time, but on the other hand, it was a blast of a time and even though my TWOW journey was somewhat short compared to others, I had so much fun competing! I still remember the early days of TWOW very fondly, and I've been rooting for Meester and Midnight and everyone else all along the way.
As the first Power TWOWer, I applaud Midnight Light on her victory! She's truly become a Power TWOWer worthy of the win, and it was well earned. Meester and the others competed so well, too. Thank you to the other 490 of you who competed in TWOW and to all the viewers and voters of TWOW! It wouldn't have been the same without you.

Hooray, Cary! TWOW has been such a big part of my life for a long time, and I've made so many great friends and tried so many new things because of the TWOW community (including hosting my own miniTWOW!). Just as everyone else probably is, I’m in complete shock that the series is finally over now- I don’t know how long it’ll take for me to fully realize that. This is one of the best series I’ve ever been lucky enough to watch unfold on RUclips, and I can’t say that I’ve been active in its community, but I can confidently say that it was quite a fun and wild ride! Thanks to Cary and all of TWOW’s contributors for so many years of excitement and joy!

While I was only 130th in TWOW, given that it's been such a long season, I was glad to be in it at all! Great to watch
Although I only binged it a week ago and watched the finale today, what an absolutely phenomenal journey this has been. This proves that Cary and pretty much anyone can make a little RUclips competition into so much more. Congratulations to Midnight Light for winning, and I really think her winning response are the best Ten Words of Wisdom we could’ve asked for, and also congrats to Meester Tweester to also making it to the finale, and having his role in the community too. I hope that people still host their own TWOWs for years to come, and I will never forget everything Cary has done to impress and inspire us.

I started watching TWOW back in 2020 as a way to cope with my bad anxiety attacks at the time and then I grew interested in it; I have a booksona! Two and a half years later, we got a winner! (I had a dream about this episode last week and it predicted the winner, like tWOW!) Congrats to Midnight Light, a great job to Meester Tweester, and a HUGE thank you to you, Cary for making TWOW a thing! :)

Woah, congrats on finishing the season Cary! I've been following TWOW since 2017 and honestly it is so cool to see TWOW continue and finish its competition, even as I see myself and others evolve over the years. What a grand finale!
I found TWOW at the end of december 2015 and while I was too late to compete, this was still an amazing series to watch! I still have a lot of vivid memories competing in MiniTWOWs over the years, lol
Something I realized while watching this was that this series can (probably) never be replicated again because of the rapidly increasing popularity and ability of text-based AIs like GPT-3/4. The series (in the original format) would not be possible in 2023 because of how easy it is today to submit answers taken from an AI, so we should appreciate that the series ran from the time period it did.
TWOW was a simple, yet innovative concept, that ended up creating an online community that continues to thrive today. As someone who also suffers from extreme motivation gaps, I'm so happy that you finally closed the book on this project (I'm hilarious I know). What you have accomplished with this series is incredible, and I am more than thrilled to have my past (12-year-old) self immortalized within it.
I wish you nothing but success Cary. Cheers to the next project!
Such a bittersweet ending. On the one hand, I'm glad that TWOW's finally over, that it has a proper conclusion. On the other hand, it was sort of comforting all these years knowing that there was still, at some distant point in the future, more TWOW to look forward to. Of course, we have miniTWOWs, but this was the first one I got invested in, and it's certainly gonna be the hardest to let go. Huge thanks to Cary and all TWOW participants for making this one of the most memorable series I've seen!

I can’t believe it, TWOW is finally over.
I’ve been with TWOW since two or so days after the response deadline, and I was twelve back then. Now, I’m in college, and the concept of TWOW is one that ever endured in my mind. The TWOW community is genuinely the best I have ever come across online. Though my interest waxes and wanes, the fact that TWOW has and will continue to have an active culture with so much creativity, metagame depth, and ever-increasing complexity astounds me. TWOW set the bar really high for what internet culture could be for me, and it continues to endure as both extremely accessible and extremely deep. The closest to an in-person gathering with friends that I’ve ever had with strangers have probably been all of those nights looking at results reveals on Discord. I am so glad you took a chance on this, Cary. You made something far greater than yourself.

Man. It’s weird to see this end. I remember when it first started so clearly, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Cary, you’ve made something truly brilliant, with a fantastic competition and an incredible devoted community. Massive respect to everyone who competed in this show, it’s genuinely been so fun to watch and keep up with over the years!
The TWOWer dance scene was so beautifully animated it made me cry, the animation brings forth emotions I never knew existed and doesn't just tug on them, but throws them from across the room. 100/10, would recommend.
I don't think there will ever be any media quite like TWOW ever again. Your charisma and the amount of passion the contestants had made this series be something special that was fully worth the seven years it took to conclude. Thanks for everything, Cary, even if I missed the signup by several months (I found the series at like 18B I think).

Wow, it’s… actually over. Obviously I owe a lot to TWOW. It was fun to compete when I was alive and I’ve gotten to become a part of one of the nicest and coolest online communities I’ve ever been in. TWOW opened up a lot of doors for me, both in terms of discovering new people and even discovering more about myself. The trajectory of my life for the past few years would be radically different if I never decided to send a PM to Cary all those years ago. While I’ve outgrown my original identity that was present in this TWOW, it’s always neat to point and say, “I was there. I did pretty well. I had fun.” Watching the finale through a Discord voice call was a highlight of my year for sure. Congrats to the winner, the runner-up, and everyone else involved for making this silly word game show happen. Excited to see what the TWOW community has in store for the future.

I remember toying around with paper cutouts of the TWOW contestants and having a grand ole time. To think it's been 4 years since I joined the TWOW community, and now we're all seeing this magical journey come to a close. Congrats to Midnight for being the wisest of them all, to Meester for being the most intelligent of them all, to Cary for never giving up on this series... and to us, for supporting the show until the very end.
While the show that started it all can finally rest, the spirit of TWOW still lives on. There's so much more to explore.

It's hard to believe this series was over. I think I was in either 5th or 6th grade when the series began, and now I'm officially a sophomore in college, which is so crazy to think about. I was rooting for Meester Tweester to win (of course, speedrunners unite) but I ended up voting for both of Midnight's top two responses as my top two 💀get fucked Meester (just kidding, love you man) and good job to Midnight for being so incredibly wise 👏

thank you for this incredible series cary. and congratulations for finishing another youtube project. i hope you feel at least some satisfaction for closing the door on this. just like you felt with bfdi originally. this was a fun series to watch, but i also like to think that this was the spiritual successor to BAGUETTE, and that you're truly closing the door on that series as well at the same time. i'll never forget the times before you showed your face and really showed yourself. people saw you and michael and these kinda mysterious figures that would give off more questions than answers into whatever you guys were posting or making videos about, and after a long period of inactivity, you uploaded twow 0a. and that was the first time anyone had ever heard your normal unaltered modern-day voice. it was an incredible feeling to experience that for the first time after looking up to you guys for so long like you were gods. instead, i could finally look up to you as a human being with a passion for making memories. you'll always be awesome cary. also congrats to tweester and midnight

Amazing, i was rewatching twow a couple weeks ago! I discovered this channel with the evolution series, and then discovered TWOW. I'm not super invested in the series (I didn't vote everytime at all) but it's still a really nostalgic series that I've been following for quite a while. I'm glad to see the finale is finally here!
It's surreal finally seeing this end after SEVEN YEARS!!! I may not have been around for the whole time, but I'm glad I've been a part of the miniTWOW community for the past (near) half-decade! It's been a huge part of my life and I'm thankful for this dumb little game!
Congrats to the winners of wisdom and intelligence! Thank you Cary so much for such a fun experience (even to a spectator!)
I hope to see a lot of people from this video join TWOW Central and the greater community, this game deserves to live on for years to come!

It really does feel weird seeing TWOW end but I’m glad I got to be part of the ride for the whole time. I’ve made so many memories and even if I got eliminated in episode 1, I’m still glad I got to be a part of it. Congrats to Midnight on the win and everyone else for being part of this journey 🙂❤
I had a fun time watching. Even though I only found TWOW during the 23B hiatus, it helped me find the OSC and my love for animation and data visualization! Good job to all the twowers for your efforts this season and thank you for making TWOW, Cary and Micheal!

I can't believe TWOW has come to an end, I remember bingewatching all of twow when I first found it back in 2017 and it has always been one of my favorite web competitions. All of the competitors, aswell as you Cary, manage to make twow such a fun and loveable experience. Good job to both Meester and Midnight! You guys are stars!
We made it! Congrats to Midnight Light, who genuinely had the best prompt. I have been a hardcore Meester Tweester fan for years, and it's just so insane that TWOW is done.

Wait a minute… on cary’s algicosathlon, purple won and yellow was second… midnight light’s colors are purple and pink and she won while messter tweester’s colors where yellow and Orange and he was second. Coincidence, I think NOT!
While I wasn't able to watch the entire series (the first episode i watched was TWOW 24a), I'm really proud of what you and the TWOWers have done throughout these seven years, and I'm looking forward to your post-TWOW plans, as well as the future of TWOW.
