67 from Prince George. I completely rebuilt a 1970 nova back in the 80s. I found good floor pans at an auto wreckers and brazed them in. Great to see a perfectionist at work. Someone who takes pride in their work
I love how JF actually shows/teaches you how it’s done. I wish I could be there helping him! Great patient instructor. I like that he does stuff the correct professional way. 👍
Great work JF... Reminds me of when I did all the floor pans in my 1970 1/2 Camaro....I'm much like you I have been a painter and body man for 30+years and still at it....👍👍😎
68 years old and have restored several cars I would love to that camaro . I really enjoy the way you explain some of your insider secrets . Keep up the amazing work. Saw the amazing Cougar you built am motorama last year and I was so amazed at your vision and quality craftsmanship . Wow 👌
Love your patience, you don’t sweat (not literally) things that i would seriously get sick in my stomach over… your metal work repairs are Great.. the Porsche & Camaro builds are awesome
JF is a perfectionist and it's nice to see someone actually do sheet metal and take pride in what they do! Blair and JF are my favorite to watch doing sheet metal and body work!
I loved the video. I have a 68 hdtop and 67 conv. I replaced my entire floor pan seam to factory seam. Very difficult but worth it. I'm looking forward to more of your videos.
I’m 64 from Langley, recently retired and still learning from guys like yourself. I love this build because it’s so relatable. Thanks young fella 🤣 cheers 🍻
Appreciate the kind words my freind We come down for the Langley car show that our friends put on in June quite often , and the owner of the Cougar that we built does the Langley car show !
@ June you say , I try to make it out to all the local shows around here. I’ve built my own 68 Cougar in my little shop here and it’s far from stock , not Ford approved 🤣
Thanks for another great episode. I am another BC guy from Langley. I am loving the reasonable budget on a cool car. I have huge respect for your high end cars but I much more enjoy the everyman stuff like this. I actually get the most enjoyment of doing more for less money. It is super fun to make cool and fast cars out of cast off junk. Keep up the good work, I will keep watching. Have fun.
Hey guys, great job on the camaro !! I'm a 59yr old guy and very inspired by what you're doin. I've been building cars and trucks for a long time and I'm still willing to learn a few techniques !! Keep up the great work
nice job, J.F. love what your doing! 73 y.o. from Penticton. Red seal tech for 50 years. still at it. really enjoy all the bodywork segments. different from all the mechanicals i do.
60 and have had over 400 cars 😮 Well I quit counting after 400...that was about 15 years ago. I've been flipping cars to keep myself in toys for decades 😮 that makes me feel old and some mornings I really feel my age. It's always rewarding to figure out a problem and getter done.
I'm pretty certain I met JF back in the mid to late 90's in Oliver at Kal Tire maybe? I used to manage Mt Baldy back then. Keep up the great work guys and keep the videos coming. Wish I could afford to still live in BC. Sold our farm there and could never afford one now.
Used to watch Overhaulin all the time, great show. Found your channel when Blair was helping out. Can’t wait to see this Camaro finished. I bought a 73 brand new when I was in the military sure wish I still had it. Keep up the good work.
65 from Summerland, built a 68 Camaro, Chopped Model A 5-window, 36 2-dr Flatback, 48 Ford 1/2 ton, started on 32 Terreplane, 32 Desoto. looking for a new project now.
I hope after all this careful custom metal work, you can solve why the floor rotted - floor vents, windshield, door seals? You fixed that rear quarter that ended things the first time when it really didn't look possible. This is fun to watch. Thanks.
I seen my first set of front seat floor pan's put in a early 60 mustang. We had a small body shop in our town. The owner was name was Glen. He was brazing them in .the owner of the car , his wife was a big girl ,according to Glen, she was driving to work & the driver seat almost fell on the ground, while she was driving. The reason I was there, I was 16 & put a dent ,in my dad new truck in the passenger fender, my plan was to get it fixed, before dad found out about it. Glen fix the dent & painted her ,looked perfect. However when, she was done Glen parked ,her out in the parking lot, which happen to be on the main street, dad was going to work & saw his new truck at the body shop . When I turned 18 teen ,dad cosigned 4 me to buy a new car & I will never forget what he said, son if you wreck your car have Glen park it in the back lot. I totally thought I had gotten away with it . He just grinned like a beaver & never mentioned it again.
@killerkustoms sorry I got long winded. Seeing you weld those floor pan's in took me back in time to 1973 . Also seeing Avery on one of your videos was so funny. He's the happiest man on earth. I really enjoy watching your guys videos. 👍

65, from Alberta. It's been mentioned that you have a fancy shop and tools, but there's nothing that you have done that couldn't be done with a come a long, chain, rounded off chisel and a few scraps of metal and wood.
$5000 build $50,000 tools $200,000 shop Ok That's why it's hard for the normal person. It's hard to justify the tools and shop if you are only doing a few projects. Appreciate the share of knowledge. A confident person shares their knowledge. It's a litmus test for success.
Hi JF, I really don't remember seeing you on Overhaulin'. Doesn't mean you didn't work there... I'm an old guy 63, watching from Gatineau, Québec. This car should be painted red and have a black factory vinyl roof, black interior.I stopped driving in March of 1988. I'll never drive again and that's my bag of hammers to carry. If you enter me in the contest and I win, I would give the car to my daughter. She's 33 and is about to make me a grandpa for the first time. Take care. Roland
