I think the benefit of the 48 Laws of Power wasn't learning these rules to use on others, but recognizing when others are using them on me. I usually tend to be naïve in the sense of assuming everyone is genuine, but in a space like corporate America, this book was a good reminder that the world can be tough even though on the surface everyone is a "family" where you work. Also, if you love history, the book is 80% historical references. I loved the video man, thank you
This is mentioned pretty directly in the opening notes of the 48 laws if I remember right. It is more effective as a way to establish awareness and to make dealing with manipulative people more direct.
@@dcmelos71 sounds like it gets you in a pretty bad space of mind when interacting with others tho. Sounds like youd go insane trying to point out when one person is using the laws against you.

Such a great list! A recent favorite of mine is The Fortune Architect: Design Your Path to Wealth. It’s all about actionable financial strategies that can truly make a difference.
As someone who read most of the books I'd say that ranking them is really subjective and people that just have started reading self improvement books shouldn't take the tier of these books mentioned into consideration. All of them are fantastic legendary books. I would suggest to someone starting their self improvement journey to pick a book that resonates with their current situation, e.g. if you currently don't have financial problems - don't read rich dad poor dad, however, if you do feel like you have problems accepting your past - rather read the power of now. His ranking of those books has literally zero to do with how helpful they are to YOU in YOUR situation under YOUR circumstances. A book he ranked S tier could be a D to you and vice versa. Also always make sure to implement relevant tips given in a book to truly get the most out of it. After all, having the knowledge and taking action are two different things :)
One more book which i wanted to recommend was: so good they can't ignore you. Everyone talks about achieving goals, but what if you can't find goals? I had no passion of my own, until i read this book. It focuses on cultivating love for a job rather than finding the "right job". It breaks so many detrimental misconceptions that society teaches us and honestly i recommend it for anyone who wants a fulfilling and awesome career.
The Alchemist and The Power of Now are amongst my favorite books of all time. But I think how you rank these books are obviously subjective to where you are in your journey. Some people are wanting more spiritual development while others may be trying to improve their finances or habits.
The Power of Now completely shifted my perspective of life and I've lived totally different life after I read it. So for me it holds special number 1 place :)
"Leaders are readers." 14 Books: Think & Grow Rich, The Secret, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Atomic Habits, How To Win Friends & Influence People, 48 Laws of Power, The Alchemist, The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself (alternatively Becoming Supernatural) The 4 Agreements, The Untethered Soul, The Power of Now, Unlimited Power.
I would personally also mention "The Six Pillar Of Self-Esteem". Having somewhat of a clear picture of how a confident person would feel and think about oneself, helped me aspiring the right thing, thus getting there (closer).
I listened to the power of now while I was doing housekeeping. I feel like that moment really made me change my perspective. I remember the exact house I was in, old wooden and gorgeous honestly, and I went from tired when I went in, to coming out feeling incredibly satisfied. I took my time feeling the rag under my hands as I wiped the counters, vacuuming was almost therapeutic, and I realized what a blessing I was to someone else. Even though they were paying me, I switched to the mindset of “I’m doing a service” and it was incredibly satisfying after that. Definitely what I needed at that point in my life when I felt low about myself
A book that is more characterized as philosophical but has immensely great lessons is “Meditations” by Marcus Aurelius, Gregory Hayes translation. It is pretty much a personal journal written by one of the last great emperors of Rome. It has such great tips on how to approach life neutrally and through logic. How to accept things for what they are, even if they are bad. How to use the bad things that happen in your life as fuel to make yourself a better person. Etc.
I love Atomic Habits AND I also love Elizabeth Filips perspective on it. It’s important to identify what works best for you and not go too overboard on routine. I experienced a process of profound routine that created a lot of productivity followed by profound burnout. So finding the balance between accountability and sustainability is very important.
This is an inspiring list. Because of your enthusiasm about Atomic Habits I have already bought a copy and I am not halfway through the video. I have to ask you a simple question. Why such a low ranking of 7 Habits of Highly Effective People? I agree with you that it is not as easy to digest 7 Habits as you can some newer books, but that’s the point of the book. 7 Habits teaches the character ethic of being effective with people and efficient with finishing tasks, and it’s covers both in depth. This one book is multiple books, and each habit could easily be studied individually. For example Habit 5 “Seek first to understand then be understood” applies to most areas of my life. It is my answer to how I became a better husband, father, businessman or mentor? What’s most impressive to me is Covey walked his talk. Not only did he sell millions of books all around the world he was also an accomplishment professor whose ideas where so sought after that large companies asked Covey to coach them. Unlike Napoleon Hill, Covey died a wealthy man owning a success book franchise, planner business and public speaking company to name a few. He lived out his principles in real life, possibly better than any of the other authors on this list. I read this book once a year, and have been doing so for over a decade. This book is better described as a manual that reads differently depending upon where you are in your life. It is substance over style, and principles over platitudes. Sir, I ask that you reconsider.
This comment made me so happy! I feel the same way as you. That book has guided my life and I think it’s the best book on this list. It’s funny how in the beginning of 7 habits it talks about other self-improvement books compared to the character ethic. I was hoping this video would call that out.
I was scrolling down looking for such comment. Totally agree. This book belongs same or higher tier then "How to win friends.." That book is, in my opinion, a solid base for self-improvements
Having a hard time here. 7 Habits - solid, practical, possibly life-changing advice throughout. The Secret - metaphysical woo. Somehow the woo wins over a solid actionable plan? Puts the entire perspective of the list into serious doubt.
Agreed with this. 7 habits is OG self help book. If you read it closely you can see that many other authors actually take ideas from it and turn it into whole individual books.
How to Win Friends and Influence People has kind of an awkward title by modern usage, but the idea and advice in it will genuinely make you a better human being, and people will like you because you are better. It’s all about how to be sincere, kind, and genuinely interested in others. God Tier indeed!
“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.” From Atomic Habits. Another workbook I like is called 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels, it's simple and teaches mindfulness meditation.
Eckhart did say you either get The Power of Now or don’t. Kelly didn’t and that alright. But if you get it, it’ll change everything. EVERYTHING. It’ll hold you hands till you move beyond the body-mind complex. For this one book, don’t go according to this video.
How to Win Friends and Influence People would also be my S- tier. Came to be "more likeable", stayed because it helped me become a better person in general. More understanding, sincere, down to earth, less judgemental, etc. I'm still young and grateful to be able to read it as soon as I could.
For me, the book Power was quite enlightening. It was not useful in my life, but it allowed me to understand local politicians and community leaders. Many if not most of them follow the precepts of the book to some extent, because to them, life is a 0 sum game.
Great video! I've downloaded several of these books to check out. My one quibble is about 7 Habits. The big idea is *starting by identifying your values* and determining what's important based on that -- and then doing ongoing assessments to make sure you're staying in alignment. The quadrants have far less meaning without first defining what is important to you.
Both The Secret and Think and Grow Rich were drawing from the Kybalion (1908) for the law of attraction. And this book was itself a crystalization of the New Thought movement. New Thought philosophy gave birth to the New Age movement and to the Christian Scientists. The law of attraction was in the air for some time.
How To Win Friends changed my life. It made me realise that your personality and how you interact with others isn't simply an inherent thing that is just "you", but a skill that can be worked on and improved. And it's so powerful.
I have read most of those books. In the middle of 'Atomic Habits' right now. My favourite out of this list would have to be 'The Untethered Soul'. Great list! Would love you see you do a list of the most under rated self improvement books. You know, those little gems that you come across that you haven't heard of before but really spark something in you.
There is one reading that has allowed me to heal and find myself again despite depression, anxiety and panic attacks. The book is called " Everything Will be Fine I promise". It's a read I recommend to anyone who wants to heal and find the courage to change their life. I wish everyone you can heal from the past 🌱🥀🌺
I just finished "How To Win Friends & Influence People" and it was great. Atomic Habits also resonates with me a lot. I actually really like The 4 Agreements as well. One book I also recently finished that really reeled me in from start to finish is "The World's Greatest Salesman". There are so many great books out there in self development, you really can't go wrong. I'm definitely gonna get Tony Robbins "Unlimited Power"- you have it up there and that's one I haven't read and I feel it's gonna get me hooked. Bless.
Agreed that book resonated with me so well and felt like a necessity because you DO need to understand Machivialism and after reading the book I started to pickup on it at work with who was using me as a scapegoat, made me realize that isolating myself from social media completely was actually hurting me. Just a lot of laws in there that genuinely shaped my life for the better. The book can be dangerous in the wrong hands but I think it's done more good than anything for sure!
can't believe you put power of now on a low level like that bro wow, that was one of the best books ive ever read, maybe you should listen to the audio version of it
I respect your opinion, although I disagree with 48 laws of power. I think the mistake many make when reading the book is trying to fit every life situation in one of the 48 scenarios. The book is great at making you aware of power dynamics and how to deal with them in addition to personal experience and reasoning. The necessity and accuracy of the book depends very heavily on the environment you are in. (A Very competitive business person for example will very likely find the book helpful and accurate, but for some others it just might never be relevant at all) It also provides a very honest view on life that might not be pleasant for some but is very important for having a better understanding of how (a lot of / some) people think and behave. I really liked the book. Always love your book reviews. Really appreciate them :)
Yes personally I think its up there with the S tier, It doesn’t necessarily mean you have to apply every single law in your life, it’s there to protect you and raise awareness. Some people find it uncomfortable since it has a cynic element based on the historical stories but Robert is a realist and it protects you from shady people.
The point you made about "48 laws of power" is spot on,it trains you to be manipulative, narcissist. The thing is, it won't work for everybody,as you said, it will be successful while interacting with certain people, but in the end of the book(48th law),it says "be formless, like water" which means : don't act directly with the way you're told to(by parents, elders and etc),most importantly the book itself, Robert Greene stated it's laws were basically a list made up from the past events in history, not everything repeat itself, the sentence which is "be formless" means : act specifically for the each situation,be a chameleon, there's no laws in reality, act the way which you're supposed act, that's the main topic of the book, before understanding the meaning of the book,i was acting the way book told me to, directly, which lead to lot of arguments, even lost my relationship with friends,so that's a reminder "Be like water,my friend"
Isn't that the case with all of the mentioned books? And self-help books in general? Not everything told in those books are going to be applicable to all of its prescribed scenarios. I see the Power book more as a set of cautionary tips, or list of defensive measures in order to fortify yourself from being manipulated, esp by people in power. But also, when you yourself are in a position of power, knowing those laws can help you maintain it without being corrupted, and also to combat all assaults from competition. The worldview it offers might be problematic for us to discuss in public and ethically questionable, but when the world runs with such rules despite your disagreements about it, isn't it rather wise to be aware of them to defend yourself, as well as to use it wisely? I see it as a very brave compilation by RG and to face the backlash, when in fact, given the humongous numbers, it is very much needed.
I count How to Win Friends & Influence People, The Seven Habits of Highly Successful People and The Alchemist in the top tier. I would add The Peaceful Warrior to the list. Those all changed my life 100%.
A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle is the best one by far. It's the greatest hits of ancient wisdom in modern vernacular. I loved the Power of Now, but I found A New Earth to have a better format. The ego may not like the books because it's constantly calling it out and there isn't a lot of food for thought. The ego doesn't see the book as a means to enhance itself, it sees it as it's end, thus the resistance and dismissal of the material.
I'm trying to pick 3 books to read during 2023. 2022 I read The Secret and it changed my life. I loved that book. After reading your comment I want to add A New Earth to my list. Thanks!
I’d encourage you to re-read The Alchemist and read what’s being said in between “what’s being said”. The metaphorical lessons that are hidden and littered all through this book are insane. I’ve been an entrepreneur for 12 years, built millions, and gone “Mariana trench” deep into the healing journey, and yet, there’s still a new nugget I’ll uncover through the alchemist year after year. Not many books I can say this about. Maybe that’s just me tho.
I enjoyed this video and just found your channel. Personally, The Alchemist would be a god tier for me. I hesitate to put anything on “god tier”, but it contained a message at a time in my life when the other books couldn’t have reached to me. Just goes to show how different we are all! I hope somebody reading this will give it a try though! 😊
I completely relate about the Tony Robbins book. I took a job as a guard in an art museum for $8/hour. I was SO broke and downhearted...but I listened to Tony Robbins Unlimited Power and Awaken the Giant Withing on an MP3 for basically 8 hours a day. Boy did I learn a LOT and it really helped me and I got a way better job that everyone said I couldn't possibly get.
You left out "Ask and it is Given" an Abraham book by Esther Hicks, which the "Secret" is based upon. You also left out "You can Heal Your Life" by Louise Hay
This was awesome! I’m pouring through books at a pretty fierce pace. But I don’t have time to waste on books not worth it. Now I’m finally on this path for good, at 52, after many detours, distractions, and set backs.
I would add to this list: Psycho Cybernetics (ABSOLUTE MUST READ) In Pursuit of Excellence 3rd Edition by Terry Orrick Born to Win by Zig Ziglar (it does have religious references throughout the book...but he's not trying to convert you. )
I think most of people just read booka without taking actions. This is not good at all,it's like wasting of time. Remember readers are leaders and leaders are reader
7 habits of highly effective People.. change my life forever.. i respect the option tho.. it helps me to change from super reactive/complainer individual to be a more proactive person.. it helps me consciously choose my respond to a given situation. Especially difficult ones.. no one can hurt you unless you let them..
Reading is not just enough". Take the action! Put your newfound knowledge to use. I read for a long time but Action made my life change in no time (generally and mostly financially) That's my two cents on this
I struggle to follow through, especially financially. I earn quite enough but hardly have a saving. Rent, bills, debt, expenses take it all away. It almost feels like I leave paycheck to paycheck
Live below your means, Adjust your lifestyle, be frugal in spending don't buy unnecessary stuff, Budget your spending and your debts, Save, Invest it's a better way to grow wealth, get a financial expert to help you.
The fact that Rich Dad Poor Dad made B tier while Think And Grow Rich made C tier is absolute lunacy. Especially when you consider the reasoning and irony behind the choice. Rich Dad Poor Dad is known to be a fabled tale that Robert created in his mind. It is poorly written in comparison to any book, but especially Think And Grow Rich. The rich history throughout, and how well-written Think And Grow Rich is make it stand miles above Rich Dad Poor Dad. Not to mention that the most other books named in the video that mention the power of the human mind are all following suit, as Think And Grow Rich set the tone years and years earlier.
I agree with this tier list for the most part and I know everyone's going to have some disagreements and that's okay because we have different opinions. But I really don't understand how you put seven habits of highly effective people so low. This advice in this book is some of the advice I use the most. The idea of think win win and Synergy which are kind of connected are life-changing ideas. And yeah in hindsight it might be kind of obvious advice most of the best advice is. A lot of people don't think this way they have a dog-eat-dog mentality they think win lose zero-sum game as you said. And who can forget the life-changing quote, seek first to understand and then to be understood. This is great life changing device especially for people online will always argue with people. This is something I have to remind myself up sometimes because sometimes I believe that I'm right and I have to remember I might not be. There's a good chance that someone else's right from their point of view as well and we are just seeing things from a different way. That it's not really the ideas that we disagree on but our understanding of how we understand those ideas. How you rank this book for example. Also be proactive is great advice So is sharpen the saw. As you mentioned put first things first And begin with the end in mind
Definitely thought the same thing. I literally use this book the most and would rank it above rich dad, poor dad any day. Especially because 7 habits highlights the fact that interdependence is actually what we should be aiming for and not just independence.
Since i read it, i didn't feel the need to read again until now, because i felt like i need to "Sharpen The Saw", it's time.. And then I come here and I find that The Secret is rated higher than The 7 Habits
good list but check these books out i really enjoyed these 2 books 1. Master Key system by charles hannel was a great book about law of attraction 2. power vs force by david hawkins really good book 3. the richest man in babylon 4. becoming supernatural by joe dispenza - good book goes very deep dive but not that practical stuff tho
Thank you for your great videos! I have learned so much from them ☺️🙏🏻 I remember as a child in the 50s, seeing my parents take off to a night course from Dale Carnegie at UC Berkeley. I think the course lasted between 6 and 8 weeks and they became devout fans of his teachings. Another speaker they loved was Napoleon Hill. And of course , Jim Rohan. ( his quote : “Either you run the day or the day runs you” one of my favorites) My parents were Stanford graduates with honors and believed deeply in constantly learning how to improve themselves, their health, life and making the world a better place for others. Thank you again for your enlightened videos! I read at least 4 books a week and love what you shared about listening to audio books while working on a puzzle. Such a great idea and I’m sure very therapeutic!
Have you read any Joseph Campbell? Seems like his life's work and research could be on this list. & Dune (the book), "Fear is the mind killer I must not fear" is the opening of an epic story that poses so many wonderful questions back to self around risk, drive, and personal alchemy.
You’ve given me a huge mental shift in the last 6 or so months since I found your channel, I wish I would have known about you sooner!! Highly contemplating signing up for your course, only reason I haven’t yet is simply for financial reasons. Saving up! Thank you for all you do Clark.
Read most of the mentioned books. My advice pick a book of an author who has the same/similar personality style as yourself to have a profound impact on your life. For me as an INTJ Unscripted by MJ Demarco had the biggest effect.
I think your review of 48 Laws of Power is indeed correct for the general person. You need to be in a specific position and with a specific goal in mind for it be useful. Its S tier for being Situational, but a pass when you don't actually need it.
God tier- How to win friends & influence people, unlimited power Amazing- Atomic Habits, The subtle art of not giving a f*ck, untethered soul Great- rich dad poor dad, secret, breaking the habit of being yourself Good- think & grow rich, 4 agreements, the power of now Pass- 7 habits of highly effective people, Alchemist, Power
Your ranking of the books was very debatable. The biggest part where you went wrong is you listed criteria for ranking as books sold. Consider ranking them based on a scale of 1-5 for self-help, another 1-5 for financial help, 1-5 for value and moral strength it teaches… and stuff like that. Regardless of how you presented it, I appreciate your book recommendations. These are all very life changing type books.
I agree, I think also, as every one is different, the book rankings would be different to the specific individual. I for one, wasnt a huge fan of the 'Subtle art' book, as I didnt need to hear what I already knew.
congratulations! yes, it is next level when we are working in our niche, not because it's the "right" niche or the best niche but because it uses our innate and learned gifts. Really excited for your journey, thanks for sharing
7 Habits is awesome. I feel that 90% of folks who read it, don't fully get it. This is a book you have to read several times, internalize and put into actual action. Once you get it, you get it.
Nice. I would like to humbly suggest you do a follow up video on alternative books to read foe the ones in C and D ( if you have ready enough books to provide these alternatives). Thanks!
Thank you..I was not too keen on The Secret personally though it was a breakout book. What not everyone knows is there is a book called "Quantum Success" by Sandra Taylor about Law of Attraction and the connection with science that was a NY Times Best Seller on spirituality in 1997 I think, 1 year before the secret came out and she goes much deeper and explains things well before most other law of attraction authors did. Also The 4 Agreements really was a synopsis on the Carlos Castaneda books that were amazing, especially a little know book called "Journey to Ixtlan"...All of Joe Dispenza's books would get high marks with me.."The Alchemist" I think should be higher up on the list and Ernest Holmes "Science of Mind" (written in 1903 I think) is another classic..
I've found that most groundbreaking ideas were already around long before someone else came along and made a big success out of it. It's amazing discovering how many old concepts modern writers get credit for
The Four Agreements - Be impeccable with your words; this one really helped me to recognize my toxic self talk. I really appreciate all of the exploration of the 4 simple concepts which make up the agreements.

How to accept things for what they are, even if they are bad. How to use the bad things that happen in your life as fuel to make yourself a better person. Etc.
Nice, I have the Gregory Hayes translation. Why is that better?
Is it storytelling or like tons of bullet points?
bulletpoints mostly@@Druzia11
I love Atomic Habits AND I also love Elizabeth Filips perspective on it. It’s important to identify what works best for you and not go too overboard on routine. I experienced a process of profound routine that created a lot of productivity followed by profound burnout. So finding the balance between accountability and sustainability is very important.
I put 48 LAWS of power in s tier . The book is to be used as a shield not a sword
I second this fantastically well thought out comment. 👍
This book belongs same or higher tier then "How to win friends.."
That book is, in my opinion, a solid base for self-improvements
true that book is the best self help book imo
Having a hard time here. 7 Habits - solid, practical, possibly life-changing advice throughout. The Secret - metaphysical woo. Somehow the woo wins over a solid actionable plan? Puts the entire perspective of the list into serious doubt.
Agreed with this. 7 habits is OG self help book. If you read it closely you can see that many other authors actually take ideas from it and turn it into whole individual books.
The four agreements really helped me with my overthinking
How to Win Friends and Influence People has kind of an awkward title by modern usage, but the idea and advice in it will genuinely make you a better human being, and people will like you because you are better. It’s all about how to be sincere, kind, and genuinely interested in others. God Tier indeed!
Interesting thank you
“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.” From Atomic Habits. Another workbook I like is called 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels, it's simple and teaches mindfulness meditation.
Cant believe 7 habits is not a God Tier. That book changed my life.
Ya! I read it every year. Life changing book.
Same
Just the 1st habit completely change my life and help me in my work..
Can't Hurt Me is definitely the S+ Tier
Look at David Goggin’s “Can’t Hurt Me” to me that was the best self improvement book ever
Eckhart did say you either get The Power of Now or don’t. Kelly didn’t and that alright. But if you get it, it’ll change everything. EVERYTHING.
It’ll hold you hands till you move beyond the body-mind complex. For this one book, don’t go according to this video.
You’re providing so much value with your channel holy shit. As a nutrition coach I aspire to give people as much value for free as you do man!
🙌🙌
What would be your most essential advice for long-term healthy nutrition?
Do you have experience with people who are making a health transformation?
Clark, kendini geliştirmek isteyen herkes için harika bir kaynaksın. Yaptığın her şey için teşekkürler
"Love yourself like your life depends on it " by Kamal Ravikant. I think that everyone should read this book.
Naval?
Naval’s brother
The Original edition of Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill is phenomenal - talks about the Law of Attraction in 1937!
The law of attraction is a belief as old as humanity. Hindu religion is based on that.
Great idea!
A book that is certainly underrated is One, No One, and a Hundred Thousand by Pirandello 🔥🔥
Bless.
I have personally read almost all of these books 'cover to cover'. I agree with the classification but I think 48 laws of power deserves A tier.
The book can be dangerous in the wrong hands but I think it's done more good than anything for sure!
can't believe you put power of now on a low level like that bro wow, that was one of the best books ive ever read, maybe you should listen to the audio version of it
Excellent Video!

✊🏾✌🏾
Eckhart Tolle A New Earth is *THAT* good it's so far above the tier.
Facts
I respect your opinion, although I disagree with 48 laws of power.
I think the mistake many make when reading the book is trying to fit every life situation in one of the 48 scenarios.
The book is great at making you aware of power dynamics and how to deal with them in addition to personal experience and reasoning.
The necessity and accuracy of the book depends very heavily on the environment you are in. (A Very competitive business person for example will very likely find the book helpful and accurate, but for some others it just might never be relevant at all)
It also provides a very honest view on life that might not be pleasant for some but is very important for having a better understanding of how (a lot of / some) people think and behave.
I really liked the book.
Always love your book reviews. Really appreciate them :)
I also like the message of this book, my personal S tier.
the world is tough and we need to get some power to live here
Agreed. It's the type of book you need to be at the right part of your life to enjoy it and absorb it though
It’s a classic though one should always be cognizant they aren’t Just being calculated soulless creatures but for power dynamics this is top notch
Yes personally I think its up there with the S tier, It doesn’t necessarily mean you have to apply every single law in your life, it’s there to protect you and raise awareness. Some people find it uncomfortable since it has a cynic element based on the historical stories but Robert is a realist and it protects you from shady people.
Agreed
The point you made about "48 laws of power" is spot on,it trains you to be manipulative, narcissist. The thing is, it won't work for everybody,as you said, it will be successful while interacting with certain people, but in the end of the book(48th law),it says "be formless, like water" which means : don't act directly with the way you're told to(by parents, elders and etc),most importantly the book itself, Robert Greene stated it's laws were basically a list made up from the past events in history, not everything repeat itself, the sentence which is "be formless" means : act specifically for the each situation,be a chameleon, there's no laws in reality, act the way which you're supposed act, that's the main topic of the book, before understanding the meaning of the book,i was acting the way book told me to, directly, which lead to lot of arguments, even lost my relationship with friends,so that's a reminder
"Be like water,my friend"
Bruce Lee
@@LiquidfirePUA Robert Greene definitely got the idiom from Bruce Lee
Amazing work! Respect
The Secret deserves a special place below every other tier because it is so bad
I count How to Win Friends & Influence People, The Seven Habits of Highly Successful People and The Alchemist in the top tier. I would add The Peaceful Warrior to the list. Those all changed my life 100%.
In what way did these books change your life. I would love to know. Be as detailed as you want to be 😊
Was surprised by where you put the Alchemist! That's a solid gold S Tier book for me!
Every single word you said was genuine , thank this video helped us know up and downside of those boom .
This book changed my perspective on life and the way I view it.
Clark pls do this exact same video with just books people DON'T know about. Those can be the hidden keys people need for that specific mental door.
You just gain my subscribe , amazing video!
Amazing video. Super fun to watch and learn
Great idea for a video! Tony Robbins also changed my life… I laughed at him until I read his book and it certainly humbled me.
Just wanna say you've got a very nice personality. You really applied the very best books in your life.
I completely relate about the Tony Robbins book. I took a job as a guard in an art museum for $8/hour. I was SO broke and downhearted...but I listened to Tony Robbins Unlimited Power and Awaken the Giant Withing on an MP3 for basically 8 hours a day. Boy did I learn a LOT and it really helped me and I got a way better job that everyone said I couldn't possibly get.
if you only knew how to manifest you'd never work a day in your life for money!
You left out "Ask and it is Given" an Abraham book by Esther Hicks, which the "Secret" is based upon. You also left out "You can Heal Your Life" by Louise Hay
Best RUclipsr when it comes to being well spoken in spirituality
This has given me a fantastic reading list to get through! Appreciate your work, Clark.
This was awesome! I’m pouring through books at a pretty fierce pace. But I don’t have time to waste on books not worth it. Now I’m finally on this path for good, at 52, after many detours, distractions, and set backs.
I totally agree with the the subtle art of not giving a f.....loved it so much and I have read all the others also
have you read "Can't hurt me" by David Goggins. It is realted to his life story and how he overcame his problems and achieved so many things.
Just discovered your channel a few days ago... new habit, watching a new vid each day!
Closing 1 million subscribers
Advance congratulations. ❤️
All the book list are ultimate to move one towards success. Everyone must read these books. Great list.
More of these please!
I would add to this list:
Psycho Cybernetics (ABSOLUTE MUST READ)
In Pursuit of Excellence 3rd Edition by Terry Orrick
Born to Win by Zig Ziglar (it does have religious references throughout the book...but he's not trying to convert you. )
This book helped me greatly
I think most of people just read booka without taking actions. This is not good at all,it's like wasting of time. Remember readers are leaders and leaders are reader
7 habits of highly effective People.. change my life forever.. i respect the option tho.. it helps me to change from super reactive/complainer individual to be a more proactive person.. it helps me consciously choose my respond to a given situation. Especially difficult ones..
no one can hurt you unless you let them..
Thank you! I've been looking for such a tier list!
Thanks for sharing Clark!
Reading is not just enough". Take the action! Put your newfound knowledge to use. I read for a long time but Action made my life change in no time (generally and mostly financially)
That's my two cents on this
I agree with 100%
Action makes it work, no matter how little start and see the results come by. :D
@@dabriga7 thanks
I hear hiring a financial coach is quite expensive but I will have a look at it.
It depends on personal preference really. All books teach us something for sure, as all seasons in life does. Read what lift YOU.
I've read a lot of these books cover to cover as well and honestly, you nailed the main points really well! Nice structured video and tier list
🔥🔥🔥
Also be proactive is great advice
So is sharpen the saw.
As you mentioned put first things first
And begin with the end in mind
Definitely thought the same thing. I literally use this book the most and would rank it above rich dad, poor dad any day. Especially because 7 habits highlights the fact that interdependence is actually what we should be aiming for and not just independence.
True. I feel like this book is way better than Atomic Habits. It’s more in depth
I'm fully with you!!
Since i read it, i didn't feel the need to read again until now, because i felt like i need to "Sharpen The Saw", it's time..
And then I come here and I find that The Secret is rated higher than The 7 Habits
Totally agree! One of the most life changing books I've ever read
love the video!!
Any book videos you would like to see more of?
Personally I would add the “The one thing” by Gary Keller in A or S tier
🔥🔥🔥
I have that book on TBR book stack 🔥
What was your biggest takeaway from the book. What was your one thing? 😊
It's my absolute number 1
Love this video. Thank for that a lot! Want be a better human, you gave me a good starting point
good list but check these books out i really enjoyed these 2 books
1. Master Key system by charles hannel was a great book about law of attraction
2. power vs force by david hawkins really good book
3. the richest man in babylon
4. becoming supernatural by joe dispenza - good book goes very deep dive but not that practical stuff tho
I’ve heard good things about “Becoming Supernatural” by Dr. Joe Dispenza
Master key system is soooo underrated it's not even funny
Master key system doesn’t get enough credit at alllll! Bloody love that book!
Thanks for the list, I might check them out after I finish reading my other book
Thank you for your great videos!
I have learned so much from them ☺️🙏🏻
I remember as a child in the 50s, seeing my parents take off to a night course from Dale Carnegie at UC Berkeley. I think the course lasted between 6 and 8 weeks and they became devout fans of his teachings. Another speaker they loved was Napoleon Hill. And of course , Jim Rohan. ( his quote : “Either you run the day or the day runs you” one of my favorites)
My parents were Stanford graduates with honors and believed deeply in constantly learning how to improve themselves, their health, life and making the world a better place for others.
Thank you again for your enlightened videos!
I read at least 4 books a week and love what you shared about listening to audio books while working on a puzzle. Such a great idea and I’m sure very therapeutic!
Wow 😳 four books a week
Unreal video. Ive added a handful to my amazon Wishlist.
Interesting.
This was a fun and informative video! I like this!
This video was so good/helpful I had to watch it twice.
And If I could I would give It two thumbs up👍👍
One of the best vídeos on all RUclips!! Thank you
Wow I wasn't expecting 7 habits to score right there...
I think your review of 48 Laws of Power is indeed correct for the general person. You need to be in a specific position and with a specific goal in mind for it be useful.
Its S tier for being Situational, but a pass when you don't actually need it.
God tier- How to win friends & influence people, unlimited power
Amazing- Atomic Habits, The subtle art of not giving a f*ck, untethered soul
Great- rich dad poor dad, secret, breaking the habit of being yourself
Good- think & grow rich, 4 agreements, the power of now
Pass- 7 habits of highly effective people, Alchemist, Power
We can see the thumbnail 😂
The best thing about this video is that each book has different tips and he's shorting the beautiful thing about each book 😍
I enjoyed this, it helped. Thanks! just beginning my journey as a nurse coach. It’s so exciting to be able to help people…. Really help people.
congratulations! yes, it is next level when we are working in our niche, not because it's the "right" niche or the best niche but because it uses our innate and learned gifts. Really excited for your journey, thanks for sharing
So happy for you! 😊🙌
1000% agree about Unlimited Power. Even Tony Robbins fans seem to sleep on that book for some reason.
He Clark many thanks for the recommendations. Specially the book breaking the habit of being yourself is helping me a ton
7 Habits is awesome. I feel that 90% of folks who read it, don't fully get it. This is a book you have to read several times, internalize and put into actual action. Once you get it, you get it.
Solid S Tier.
Yeah the Alchemist is a so good for me.
I've found that most groundbreaking ideas were already around long before someone else came along and made a big success out of it. It's amazing discovering how many old concepts modern writers get credit for
I'm excited. I haven't read any of them. Trying to decide where to start!
The Four Agreements - Be impeccable with your words; this one really helped me to recognize my toxic self talk. I really appreciate all of the exploration of the 4 simple concepts which make up the agreements.
I love that book.
Me too. Read it when i was 20 and i definitely improved my Life with Ideas inside
Thanks for the video and book suggestions.
