First rate videography. Also, the interviewed people (from the elevator operator to the platform manager) are well spoken and knowledgable. This video is 5-star professional!
I passed a truck carrying one of the giant white deck girders on the 401 westbound the other day. They're hard to miss with those angled stay cable sockets on the side. Congratulations to all the teams making this new link a reality.
Outstanding video. As a steelworker in the US Navy Seabees in Viet Nam, I was ab,le to relate to the detail that you went into regarding the rebar and other reinforcements that were used in the bridge. My hat is off to all of the workers involved in this project. Thank you for all of your hard work!
getting close to finish now that the towers are topped out next comes the running of the cables which will complete the deck before the last beam is laid in May completing the bridge.
Maybe the bridge got sick and the canadian part had to wait longer to get care. Or because they had to write everything billingual on the Canadian pieces. 😂 Idk really
@@Knightmessenger Having lived in Detroit for over 30 years and also living in Ontario the past 30 years (I am a dual citizen), I find your comment regarding health care interesting. Americans have been brainwashed to believe that everyone waits forever to get serious health issues dealt with in Canada and that somehow things are better in the States. The reality is quite the opposite. Millions of Americans go broke every year due to lack of proper medical coverage. If you are one of the unfortunate millions who cannot afford good health care or have to compromise on paying exorbitant fees on prescription drugs because you need to put food on your table, you may be quite surprised to learn that much of the medical care here is fully covered. I have never paid a dime to to see a doctor and was always able to see my GP either the same day or no longer than a day's wait when making an appointment. Furthermore, when diagnosed with colon cancer 10 years ago, I was seen by a surgeon and operated on within 2 weeks. (It would have been sooner if it had further progressed at that point.) I was required to remain in the hospital following the operation for a week in a semi-private room with tv and all meals included. How much did this cost me? Again, not a dime...it was entirely free. I feel fortunate that I lived in Canada when this happened because I can't imagine how much it would have cost me in the US, possibly jeopardized my retirement. I should mention that this operation occurred during my retirement. These are the facts; not the BS that is fed to you by your worthless politicians who lie to you all the time about this. And why do they lie...because they are in the pockets of the medical/insurance lobbies who are afraid if the truth were known, they would lose out on all the billions of dollars they collect in their current arrangement. These are the facts, whether you want to accept them or not. Have a nice day.
It would be interesting to see how the tower crane operator gets to his control cab and see time lapse video of what they see from there while doing their job.
It's a long and arduous climb. There is a ladder within the tower. Needless to say, they make as few trips as possible up and down. They don't climb down to use the restroom if you get what I mean. I asked.
Yup. They have to climb. I asked one a long time ago. In MI, union crane operators are paid buy the boom length and size of crane. These guys make top dollar.
Why is the bridge connecting Detroit, Michigan with Windsor, Canada? Why not Detroit, United States with Windsor, Ontario? And turn down the damn music so we can hear people talking! Who made this video, a drunk 15 year old in his mom's basement?

Excellent video. Thank you Canada for putting up with the Mourons all these years and making this happen.
No problem.
More like the other way around
Lmao
All costs were paid by Canada
It is crown corporation. Finally got approved in 2018. Despite trump trying to stop it.

Hello Paul, Thank You for your service. My dad also was a Navy Seabee in Vietnam. Hope you get this message.
10 HOURS A DAY FOR 6 DAYS A WEEK! Bless those guys and gals---
🎉to all the workers❤
Love watching the progress. My goal is to walk across it when it’s done. It will be so exciting 🎉❤
That's exactly what I'm excited for that and ride a bike acrossed. They're so close to joining both decks!
It's hard to hear the people talking with the music up so loud.
I agree the music should have been shut off when people were talking
The music does not contribute at all. Don’t just turn it down - lose it completely!
Yeah should turn on your closed cation since it's always something that's such a inconvenience and needs to be complained about
Amazing. Kudos to all working on this massive project!!
Itss wonderful what humans can do when they put their minds to it..makes those who starts wars seem so negative and small.
Come on Manny, it's Windsor Ontario and Detroit USA.

good informative video but poor loud music
took the boat under and this thing makes other bridge look small
I'm just curious why the American tower topped out in August and the Canadian tower still isn't finished.
Maybe the bridge got sick and the canadian part had to wait longer to get care. Or because they had to write everything billingual on the Canadian pieces. 😂

Awesome! Great work! 👏👏
The background music is waay too loud 10:46
It shouldn’t be there at all.
Cool. but not the musac….

The music is so much like a Belle Tire commercial.
They started in 2019 wow
Great name for a bridge. Ask Gretz he will tell ya.
The music is unnecessary while people are talking
mo work,mo fun
Took you guys long enough. 😜
Long walk up for the crane operator?
Yup. They have to climb. I asked one a long time ago. In MI, union crane operators are paid buy the boom length and size of crane. These guys make top dollar.
Do they have Americans working on the other side?
They should have planned observation rings at the top of each cable tower.
Music under dialog is a common sign of amateur content production. A shame, really, as the subject is so interesting.
Someone should make another video.. with more angles of bridge
really? you can get into canada?
Wonderful video ! Would you please provide the proper spelling of your name ? Credit where credit is due ! Thank you !
Couple more years for sure
End of 2024 will be open
Wondering if the towers are hollow to allow access to the very top?
I do t think so they are solid concrete
Union💪💪💪💪
👏👏
No wonder they are over budget with all those banners that had to be designed and approved by by this CEO who is making millions in salary.
Canadian construction is slower, I'm shocked! lol
Amazing bridge! It's too bad Trump will have to close it in November.🤣
PLEASE GET RID OF THAT MUSIC WHILE THE TWO MEN ARE SPEAKING ABOUT THE TOWER CONSTRUCTION. I COULD BARELY UNDERSTAND THEIR CONVERSATION.
Turn off the pounding, blaring music!
Why is the bridge connecting Detroit, Michigan with Windsor, Canada? Why not Detroit, United States with Windsor, Ontario?

Me thinks this AI isn't ready for prime time.
Huh?
😅😅
Get rid of Trudeau and maybe we'll let you use it. -USA.
Conservatism and conservative policies has never moved the needle of progress throughout history. You should know that by now!

@@Bedroomeyze So you're saying only corruption moves the needle for oligarchs. I agree. but the conservatives initiated this project not liberals.
Considering the fact that Canada is paying for the bridge ,we will let you use it once Jack Smith puts Trump in prison where he belongs.😂
Google deleted my comments. lol. didnt like what I had to say. Enjoy your dystopian futures.
Dang,
