Eddie Murphy comes out of retirement to make a lousy movie and collect a big check and then goes back into retirement. Fred Williamson and Jim Kelly along with Richard Roundtree and Ron O'Neal are some of our favorite actors from the 70s. Unfortunately some of them feel a little envy and jealousy towards the current actors because of the money and accolades todays black actors receive. How can you say, with a straight face, that Samuel Jackson movies don't make money and nobody in the hood cares about Samuel Jackson when people (all people) are literally quoting his lines from his many movies. It took Samuel Jackson a helluva long time to get his due so he's taking full advantage. Salute Mr. Jackson.
Jim Kelly saying that there would never be a black superhero while talking to the man who just completed filming a movie where he was a black superhero is short sighted. He could've asked Michael what he was working on at the time and he would've found out about the first black superhero. If Jim Kelly wanted a black superhero he should have made a film with a black superhero and not waited for hollywood to do it.

His movies have made more money because of the Disney movies, Star Wars, and Marvel. Those aren't his movies. He's a supporting character in all of them except the series on Disney plus. Love Sam Jackson but that's why he's the highest grossing. He also will do just about any movie you toss his way. It's not hard to be the highest grossing of all time considering how long he's been around, he will take almost any role and Marvel/Disney most importantly.
