I just recently picked one of these up. So far I’m very happy with the amount of different tones I can get out of this little guy. Nice impressions dude, subscribed 👍
Great video and sound !!! I really like this mini pedal with a so huge fantastic sound !!! There is to my ear a not expensive pedal and sound like a ton of Marshall The Electro Harmonix FLATIRON FUZZ I dig it !!!
Great video J! Looks like I missed this one when it came out. I've got the Boss Angry Driver. It's that collaboration pedal with JHS that is a Blues Driver and Angry Charlie in one. Just like your SL Drive it sits on my pedal shelf most of the time and whenever I get it back out I'm impressed, although it's the Blues Driver side that is my favourite. Speaking of pesky internal switches. I was watching a video of the new TC Electronic June 60 V2 chorus pedal. It has some internal switches for fast/slow rates, and line/instrument input levels. It's an overly large pedal for vintage aesthetic reasons and they could easily make it way smaller if they wanted so the comments on that video over still needing to open it up were entertaining to say the least.
If your particular amp takes pedals well, it should be fine. However, I tried to go light weight(getting too old to carry shit) by getting one of the modeling fender tone master deluxe reverb amps. It sounded like I poked a bees nest once I kicked in the SL. It sucked. I returned the amp and went back to my heavier Fender. This pedal is awesome with a clean tube amp for sure though, and especially if you run it at 18v.
@rodolfosrb3868 you're welcome! I would be a little concerned if a DLS is fuzzy/buzzy, because that's a great pedal too. I think sometimes that's inherent with SS amps. It's worth a shot, I suppose, if you buy the pedal with an option to return if you don't like it. Another great MIB pedal is the Andy Timmons +. I just bought that and it's my current favorite. Have you considered a modeling type pedal? If you're not a heavy gigging musician something like the Boss Gt1 is a nice option. I have one for in home practice/grab and go and it's great with tons of flexibility. It isn't extremely "road worthy" though. Keep in mind also, the SL has internal dip switches to alter the tone/gain. Maybe one of the settings will work nicely. That's one of the things I like about the AT+. The tonal options are outside on the box.
@@h85rocks Maybe there is a misunderstanding in my english. I'm not saying fuzzy in a buzzy meaning. I'm saying it in a presence off fuzz in the sound... as in i was playing a fuzz pedal pushing de MIAB. Thats de sound that I have in the DLS, not saying it is not good, but for me is not a clear MIAB, i hear a lot of fuzz. Thanks for all the atention.
The tumnus should NOT be run at 18v. Brian Wampler did a video showing what happens if you do this... literally explosive. It has an internal charge pump so only 9v.

Appreciate that! Thank you so much.
Love the sound of the pedal!
So surprisingly good, right?!
Great video. I like the idea of using a telecaster to demo the pedal.
Thank you!
I have a strymon sunset and I just took it off my board for the SL drive.
One of my favourite pedals, especially with humbuckers.
A great pedal for sure!
Great Video!! Thanks for posting, I have and love this pedal!! Along with the SP, EP, and the Super Sweet, great pedals!!
They sure are!
Thanks for using a Tele!!

What dip switch setting are you using in this sample?
Hello. Using the stock internal settings in this video.
Still like and use this pedal?
Does it goes from ACDC to hendrix? Do you think it Works well in a transistor amp?

@@h85rocks thanks for the answer. I have a fender deluxe 112. Im using now a DLS drive pedal.... But is too fuzzy... Ill try this one. Thanks again.

This. Or the plexi model in hx stomp?
Great question Gabe! Now I won't be able to sleep until I give it a try. HAHA!
@@JCruzProject lmk your thoughts!
Hi. Config in the minute 5:00 please? Beautiful sound
Thank you so much! Using the HX Stomp for my amp/effects.
Please can you say me your signal chain?
Ok
Ese pedal sirve para worship???
¡Hola! Sí, lo usé para mis Solos.
@@JCruzProject trato pero no puedo. En que conf lo usas??
9v or 18v?
It’s my understanding that it can be ran both ways. But this video I’m running it at 9V.

@desvega5849 this isn't a Tumnus.🤷🏼♂️ The SL at 18v is excellent however.
