I wish you would of backed the camera back off of it a bit where we could actually see the motor and actual location. It’s tough trying to tell of the location.
Be that as it may, a half a decade later, it's still very helpful. My girlfriend just bought this same car as a backup, and considering it's age, I wasn't sure if a video for this particular year make and model would be available. Let alone as specific as changing the thermostat. So, thank you for uploading and not removing it!
Does pulling that pin out make a difference, I did not do that, i installed mine and still over heating. Do i have to go back and pull the pin or could it be something else be the problem.
Sorry for the late response. Many thermostats have a “jiggle pin” that allows trapped air in the cooling system to pass through the thermostat and be released from the system
Sorry it's one of my first videos, it's not my best work haha. Many thermostats have a “jiggle pin” that allows trapped air in the cooling system to pass through the thermostat and be released from the system

I was still learning how to edit videos when I made this video. I was a rookie youtuber haha

Ones it’s install do you have to get the code rest or it’s going to work automatically
Did you get a OBD2 code of p1544
I have 2004 model, and every thing is still the original. What happened in your engine ?
Sorry for the late response. It's my wife's car. It would temp. Gauge would rise on longer drives.

This guy is elusive, I only learned where it’s located, he did something with he pin but didn’t explain. I’m assuming it locks and unloosens

I couldn’t tell where the location was cause the camera wasn’t back far enough off the motor to tell what’s what
Horrible video... you can't tell where in the car your working
