Cuisinart 3-in-1 grill 1 year later
Просмотров 9 тыс.4 года назад
Bought my Cuisinart grill about a year or so ago. My personal opinion, it's held up well against daily use. The plastic around the knobs are the only negative I can see but that's probably because I love this GRILL/GRIDDLE.
SOFT CLOSE DOOR REPAIR. IT WORKS!!!

The plastic that hold the switch to the soft close mechanism has broken... again. Glued it once before and it worked. Make sure to clean the area where you'll be gluing, with rubbing alcohol.

2010 Mitsubishi Galant thermostat replacement
I wish you would of backed the camera back off of it a bit where we could actually see the motor and actual location. It’s tough trying to tell of the location.
How do I get it out of door..
This is the best thing ever ❤
Horrible video... you can't tell where in the car your working
Typical griddle..cooks hotter in the centre than the outside toward the front. To me the griddle I have sitting on my Weber will get much hotter as it sits flat on grill, not elevated. In fairness, he has the lid open a lot, so a lot of heat loss.
Did you get a OBD2 code of p1544
Ones it’s install do you have to get the code rest or it’s going to work automatically
I bought this grill, but I've found it doesn't have enough heat to adequately sear a steak or get the griddle hot enough to put a nice crust on a hamburger. Maybe for the griddle you need to remove the heat shields to get enough heat to the cook surface. I'm going to try that next. Haven't tried the smoker yet, so if anyone else has, let me know how it works.
I use wax paper between the bottom plate, and top plate, I also chill my meat so it is easier to handle when molding!
I have a 2012 Mitsubishi galant 2.4L,is that same as this video?
Yep 2.4 same configuration on all Mitsus
Bought ours 20 years ago. It's been very durable to last that long. I should mention we only used it once 20 years ago. I found it in the cupboard today and we will be using it again today. Great investment!
Damn bro u need to take better care of your stuff.. looks rough.
Pretty pathetic.
😆 thanks for watching
This BBQ is underrated but really work well. The cast iron tray which comes along is awesome. IIt makes life so easy.
I agree. thanks for watching my video
Just picked one up today.. How well does that smoker work?
Haven't used the smoker yet. Thanks for watching
How is your Cuisinart 3 in 1 grill holding up? What are the pros and cons?
The grill is a champ. Only cons I would say, glass is hard to clean, paint around knobs chip. But that's it
@@justwatch4561 Awesome man!! I bought it today 🔥🔥 Thank you for the great video 👍🏽
I love your energy! 😂😂 Great video
Excellent video of you cooking bacon. Not much else.
No finesse on this guy, hmmm!? (Rough on the handling of the meat AND rougher when flipping it on the grill?). Assemble the stuffed burger separately - not in the press (the hard cheese will force the meat out at the bottom. DUH!?). The instructions say the dimple is for stuffing burgers but it is also to compensate for the swelling of grilled patties. So put the dimple on the top when first grilling the unstuffed patty. That being said, your burgers actually came out looking pretty good! I'd have liked to see what the middle of the stuffed patty looked like with after grilling.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate the view.
How are the flames on this grill? Do you get grill marks? Does the temperature stay around 450 degrees or higher?
With all the pilots on high it gets to 700+ degrees, easy. I turn the grates over when I want better grill marks.
@@justwatch4561 thanks man. I was looking at it today at Walmart but needed to know how it holds temp.
WTF. Don’t know what you are doing
Haha sorry I'm just trying the pizza peel and stone. I'm not the best videographer lol thanks for watching
Thanks for the update.I'll be picking one of these bad boys up this week. Those tongs are bomb, love the little triangle rests. Where did you get them? TIA
Bought the tongs on amazon. Thanks for watching
My husband bought this grill after setting the old grill on fire grilling bacon lol. (fully engulfed, fire extinguisher, whole nine yards) Now with that griddle, no problems at all!! We LOVE this grill!!
The griddle makes juicy burgers too. Thank for watching
I don't think my grill come with part #6 grill brase... kinda sucks haven’t been able to put it together yet ..
Im sure if you call cuisinart they can probably send the missing piece. Should have a 1yr warranty at the least. THANKS FOR WATCHING!
JUST WATCH! I got it man, it was in the grill inside it lol
Haha nice!
It is inside of the grill. They don’t mention that in the instructions so I also thought it was missing
I'm curious if others have tried the griddle plate yet? It's worked amazing for smash burgers but it has a special coating, different from other cast iron, and I've had issues with it flaking when cleaning. This is their recommendation for cleaning. Please see the below restoration instructions for the cast iron griddle plate on your gas grill. It is important to season the plate before each use to preserve its coating. Place griddle on the cooking grates and turn grill on high. Allow the griddle to heat up for about 15-20 minutes. This will help loosen any debris. You will then want to turn the grill off and allow the griddle plate to cool down. Next, you will want to use a metal scraper to scrape off any debris. Do not add any water as you want to scrape the plate dry. Then, you will want to use oil and some steel wool to clean the plate. Once cleaned, you may use paper towel to wipe the griddle clean. This step can be repeated until the plate is clean. You are now ready to season the plate so it can be cooked on. To season, apply a thin layer of oil with paper towel to the entire cooking area on the plate. Place the plate on the cooking grates and turn the grill to high. Allow the plate to heat up. You should soon start to see a little smoke coming from the plate. This means the excess oil has been cooked off and the plate is ready to go!
I followed those instructions for seasoning my griddle and have not yet experienced issues. My wife usually washes it with hot water and a plastic type scraper and always allow it to dry completely (rust). I'll try to post a new video, "a year later". Thank you for watching.
Now that you have had it a while how is that window looking? Easy to clean? Looks like a big grilling area too. Nice.
I'm uploading a video later today. As for the glass, I do have to use a racer blade and some windex but not too bad. Yes, it is a nice grill are and it gets HOT!
Where did you get the mini thermometer?I have the same grill, love it!
Taylor 4pk Stainless Steel Leave-in Meat Button Thermometers, bought them at target for about $14. I love the grill too. THANKS FOR WATCHING
@@justwatch4561 And thank you!
Where I can get one????
Walmart. Thanks for watching
How can I used the smoker.
@@miguelmarmolejos1232 You put pellets in the smoker tube and hang it on the hook inside the grill above the first burner. I've never used it but Ill try to do a video on it asap.
How do you like that grill? Thinking of getting one for my husband.
It's a great grill. The viewing window is handy so you dont have to open it. It comes with a nice GRIDDLE, great for bacon. THANKS FOR WATCHING!
Thanks for replying!
You've gotten possibly the best videos.
Thank you for saying and thank you for watching.
JUST WATCH! Still enjoying the grill? Just bought one and looking forward to using it.
@@jmac16041 Yes. it's a great grill, the griddle is the best. I'm putting together another video.
Looks like a spaceship

I was still learning how to edit videos when I made this video. I was a rookie youtuber haha
Be that as it may, a half a decade later, it's still very helpful. My girlfriend just bought this same car as a backup, and considering it's age, I wasn't sure if a video for this particular year make and model would be available. Let alone as specific as changing the thermostat. So, thank you for uploading and not removing it!
This guy is elusive, I only learned where it’s located, he did something with he pin but didn’t explain. I’m assuming it locks and unloosens
Sorry it's one of my first videos, it's not my best work haha. Many thermostats have a “jiggle pin” that allows trapped air in the cooling system to pass through the thermostat and be released from the system
I couldn’t tell where the location was cause the camera wasn’t back far enough off the motor to tell what’s what
I have 2004 model, and every thing is still the original. What happened in your engine ?
Sorry for the late response. It's my wife's car. It would temp. Gauge would rise on longer drives.
Cool review. How good do you think it'll be for leather seats? Too shiny/greasy? Did the shine last a while?
Omar Qasmieh the leather feels very soft and moist after applying. I use it on all my interior, including seats. it doesn't leave a greasy feeling. It'll stay clean for about a two or three months. I still have my first tube.
More videos of diy Please! Great video simple!
Pernjie Poipoi thanks. ill try to keep them coming
Good vid
Dwight Hennings thanks you
Does pulling that pin out make a difference, I did not do that, i installed mine and still over heating. Do i have to go back and pull the pin or could it be something else be the problem.
