I'm a huge fan of European bikes.The 390 Duke is an aspiration for me.I've ridden both the bikes and despite the power difference the CBR felt much more fun.No vibrations even while revving the nuts off of it which just sweetens the deal.The specsheet does not do justice to how the bike makes you feel.This has got to be my most favorite 300cc.

Honda has made it difficult for buyers with reduced fuel tank. As if they are deliberately keeping it underrated.

@@kanha84 i m 5'9. No issues with riding and it is very comfortable for city rides. Dont worry! I wish honda cud hav priced it well though. Even today i m d only person who owns this bike in my city
@@avinash.kingaonkar the pricing is a bit premium but considering it’s a Honda, I wouldn’t mind paying more. I have a Unicorn currently (1st gen, 2004 purchased) and it’s still going strong! Anything that lasts this long is totally worth it I’d guess :)
@@kanha84 yes. I am also using hornet 160r from last 5 yrs (65000 kms) without any major issue or expense. No one can beat Honda's reliability. Also, if possible, take a test ride of new Honda CB300F.
The main strong point is Ayush sir , 390 kaa display dil khuss karney wala :) .. it feels .. while riding 390 speed detail so accurate on Display. I mostly love speed ,breaking and supermoto mode on duke 390. . and Honda look impressive and classic 👌

But spares ka kya spares to dete nahi honda wale authorised spare dealer bhi regular parts provide nahi kar pate. Cbr250r lekar jhelum hi raha hu brake pad tak available nahi hai. Service center wale bhi yahi haal par hai.

Cb300r only 9.7 litre fuel tank an pillion seat is too small. Apart from that there is no problem..

I js sold my 9 yr old ninja300, looking for a worthy replacement in d 300cc segmnt.. did a test ride on cb300r bs6 upon launch and i ws highly impressed d same way u hv been.. duke390 bs6 is d only bike im thinkin of , im highly confused… im used to d refinemnt and d class of kawasaki so i feel i shd go fr cb300r howevr d raw power of d duke390 js holds me back n yet to finalise 😅 would like to hear frm u… wud also like to tel u dt my height is 5.7(if u reckon dts gonna b an issue in d long run if i plan to go ahead with 390)… looking forward to ur reply

I think after coming from ninja 300 if you use the cb300r it might be feel like a downgrade based on power and you might miss out on that
And the cb300r is definitely not a vfm product and you just cannot miss out on the Duke in that sense
With Duke be ready to miss your bike the days it stays in the stupid service center and if u want peace of mind close your eyes and go for the Honda , it's already an engine derived from the bulletproof engine of the legendary CBR 250 R so no reliability issues no matter what !! People calling it overpriced , dude Honda is Honda !

I have 2014 ktm 200, BS4 engine of ktm is so raw and powerful, it always makes me happy when I revv it. but these BS6 ktm engines is so dull, I've lost the eager to buy ktm bikes bcz of engine dullness in BS6.

Cbr is a good and reliable bike but in terms of performance, it doesn't even come close to 390.
Honestly, it's closer to Duke 250 than to Duke 390.
Chala dekho fir batana.. just take a look at hornet which beats any 200cc bikes in acceleration even though it's just just 17bhp... No doubt in highway it's not that good but for the figures.. a bike is more than figures speaks.. Duke 250 and cb have same power or close but cb beats 250 anyday at every aspect... Honda yamaha and Suzuki provide quality but ktm and Bajaj go for more power rather than upgrading engine reliability... 2 to 3 years later if you don't maintain ktm well it wouldnt even come close to other Japanese companies with same care you did to ktm... Else every bike as it's own beauty
