With a population of 1.4 billion people, it is embarassing to see that no one has won gold till now. Only hopes are with Neeraj Chopra. What has the Sports Ministry been doing in the past 10 years? There is absolutely no change in medal count in olympics since 20 years!!! We are still in single digit medal tally.

We had a Korean coach for the women's team but they fired him right before the competition and took a physio with them to coach. No shame and respect for a coach who must have said something which the players didn't like

I am 42, been Archer myself, we just do not have the skills.. the one you have are very ordinary.

They need to perform hot yoga and warm the bodies before going the physical and mental yoga exercises, not in Paris but in the Patiala sites and not worry about medals
There are about 200 medals allocated for cycling and aquatics events. For 2036 India may host the Olympics. It may take time for the swimming and cycling programs to mature, so no need to put so much pressure by the fans by shouting too much on badminton, shooting and archery events
It will need about 300-400 qualifers and then converted them into assisted coaches in the future instead of winning medals for the next Olympics with putting them under pressure
All the athletics have to do is sleep well, eat well and perform high temperature hot yoga and then cooling under ice bucket at 5 deg C after training or read the Bhagavad Gita and not worry too much about winning the 10 medal goal
I will bet you my yearly salary on the fact that we ain't gonna get no gold in swimming anytime soon. Stuff like that generations of good nutrition and genetics. What we should focus is too develop our shooting contingent, it's a sport which does not rely on physicality and it's perfect for our underdeveloped bodies. Physical sports would take atleast 2 decades to born any proper fruit.

In non Olympics matches main players of china, korea, usa, aus, Afrika etc don't take part. And there indian players win cuz they compete with avg players most times
