I am just starting to learn how to play piano / produce music. I have watched quite a bit of videos but I think I will keep watching yours, you explain very well. keep making these playlists, im sure if i just follow all of your videos i will become decent composer
I liked the staff notation. I'm learning to read, so very helpful. Thank you! I look forward to other keys, hopefully. It would be nice to see the minors added. Or, maybe just the relative 6 minor. So it's not extremely long lesson.
So glad you found it helpful! I’m currently working on the G major video, and I plan on putting out a video for all the major and minor keys, but I can definitely prioritize the A Minor key video to get that one out quickly!
Great question! In the key of G major, F# is the seventh note, but when it comes to chords, if you see just a 7 next to the chord like G7, the 7 indicates a minor seven, which lowers that note from F# to F natural. If the chord were a G major 7, also called a Dominant 7, that would be a G major chord with an F#. But if you see a chord with a 7 after, those will be a minor seventh above the root of the chord!

I’m glad you found them helpful! Especially as a music producer learning how to play in every key is super helpful! Keep at it!
