If you are still interested in keeping the lights with the square base you can get a universal mount from Lowe’s or Home Depot. It’s like a bracket that you insert into the existing holes to create new holes for the ones that match your fixture. They’re very inexpensive.

There are adjustable junction box covers at the hardware store for exactly the issue you came across with your light fixtures. They rotate so you can attach your fixture at any angle and they’re under $10. :)

Hey!! There are twisty thingies (sorry I'm not a native English speaker so I have no clue what they're called). You can use them for your exact problem, when the things are at an angle and the light base would be brooked. it makes you be able to screw it on whichever way you want...
To me a main bathroom and master bathroom are two different bathrooms. Master bathroom is in the master bedroom (biggest bedroom)and not normally available to guests. The main bathroom would be the one that guests would use when visiting/overnighting.

Love how the bathroom turned out! So nice to upgrade a space like that. I put a new mirror in my bathroom recently, and it made such a difference. The old mirror looked kinda dingy so it was nice to refresh it. I’d be so nervous to put glass in my bathroom though in case it breaks and you’re walking around barefoot. 😬
