I love watching monsta x bias videos. I love seeing the love people have for a member. Min is freaking amazing. And blonde min is the best he’s literally our real life Jack Frost lol. And min has become an issue for me lately. I’m trying hard to be faithful to hyungwon and IM as my wrecker but min he’s getting up there. And I don’t know if you watch it but in the new show they have I started laughing and I was like dude did min get taller what the heck 😂 me If you haven’t seen the new show they are doing you should react to it it’s freaking great 😂 and I don’t want to spoil anything but min in the recent episode was freaking redicuolus😂😂😂

I know it's been forever and you probably won't see this comment, but Minhyuk's insta handle 'go5rae' means whale (고래) the 5 is just a clever extra (I'm assuming gorae was already taken) as 5 in Sino-Korean is 'o' (오 ) so it's whale, but cuter (the double o remind me or Dorie speaking whale in Finding Nemo) lol!
Have A Good Night isn't actually a cover, it's Shownu and Minhyuk's original OST for the a webtoon called 'She's My Type', I'm addicted to it, it's so beautiful, I could happily listen to only this song for the rest of my life, there are other promotional vids for this and it's on music platforms.
Ongsimi wasn't filmed in Korea, but filmed in Hong Kong (I'm pretty sure it's Hong Kong 🙃...) But I'm 100% with you, kicking and giggling at anything and everything to do with Minhyuk, even though I claim not to have an official bias... 😅😅

I'm not sure how far into it the article you read about Minhyuk's whale tattoo, but the scar he had covered was due to needing surgery in the early days of their debut, in fact both he and Changkyun (with an ankle injury) were forced to take time to recover and because of how soon into their career it happened, and they length of time.... the group lost a LOT of fans, and momentum, and they all have a bit of trauma and struggle to recover from that time period... it's something they still carry with them to this day, and due to this, and other setbacks and difficulties, they often overwork themselves to please Monbebe, so they don't lose them again 😭 So, anyway, the whale means so much more, because the Monbebe he's talking about being carried on the back of the whale with his loved ones, are the ones who stayed, as well as the ones who came later and just loved them as they are, and stood by them while they rebuilt themselves. Monsta X are truly the phoenix forging itself anew through its own ashes, they are so strong and inspiring.
To answer your question, yes, he did film/make the video for the first cover you listened to (지켜줄게 (See You Again) by Baek Ye Rin) while they were in Jeju. He also made the second one (그래 그러자 (That's Alright) by weareyoung)
Minhyuk is actually REALLY good at rapping, even though he rarely does it seriously he's quite good at it, there are a lot of concert fancams of him doing one of the rap lines verses. And if you haven't hears it yet... just wait for Crescendo.... O.o
His voice and face are some of the most beautiful things to have ever graced this planet. Period.
His dancing deserves more attention and credit, he's phenomenal
Contrary to his chaotic, loud, cocky, Scorpio, variety, MC, entertainer external vibes... he's actually incredibly sweet, thoughtful, kind, intelligent, loving, and deep... a lot of people struggle to see past that outer layer, but he's actually just as beautiful on the inside.
Anyway, YAY MINHYUK! I love to see others loving him 💙
PS: I have his MAPS magazines right here in my shelf, unfortunately they all came out SUPER dark and not easy to see, but the pictures inside are gorgeous and I don't regret spending like 50 bucks for 2 magazines lol 😂
