It seems like I.M still hasn't forgiven/forgotten what happened to him when he entered the show No Mercy and passes it as a joke and says he made it in anyway as-a-matter-of-fact. He could've chosen not to say "lots of ppl hated me" but he did, which means he was bitter about it but it was understandable. The show pulled out a deux ex machina. I got in the fandom late so I watched the show only recently and I could understand why the atmosphere was so tense and awkward when he appeared. I also had the feeling he would be chosen in the end because the rapper contestants they had kept getting eliminated. I'm a new monbebe but I wouldn't be asking how I.M got in the group because a real mbb would already know the answer. Anyway, I look forward to their 2nd English album as I read an article today that they would be coming out with it this year so I'm pretty excited about that!
I don't think he's bitter. I'm sure they're still sad memories but he has a really close relationship with the other members, and I don't think there's any resentment there. There could be, for sure, it just doesn't seem like it.

He could've chosen not to say "lots of ppl hated me" but he did, which means he was bitter about it but it was understandable. The show pulled out a deux ex machina. I got in the fandom late so I watched the show only recently and I could understand why the atmosphere was so tense and awkward when he appeared. I also had the feeling he would be chosen in the end because the rapper contestants they had kept getting eliminated. I'm a new monbebe but I wouldn't be asking how I.M got in the group because a real mbb would already know the answer. Anyway, I look forward to their 2nd English album as I read an article today that they would be coming out with it this year so I'm pretty excited about that!
I don't think he's bitter. I'm sure they're still sad memories but he has a really close relationship with the other members, and I don't think there's any resentment there. There could be, for sure, it just doesn't seem like it.

Lol I’m really late, but as an fellow Aquarius we’re just like that ? Not really bubbly. Not really into conversation, very mellow and “cool”. American interviews are weird in my opinion, and require a lot of “interesting”, for lack of a better word, people/things. I’ve seen him talk in Korean radio shows and he’s so comfortable and lax it’s insane the contrast you can see. Lol just my two cents!

This is literally the first video I’ve ever seen of Monsta X. I’ve never heard any of their songs. But when I heard I.M say that he was hated by all the team members in No Mercy, I felt so bad for him. I wanted to know more, so I watched ep 8 and 9. It’s crazyyyyy how different he looks now. And now he looks more tough and not as timid as he was in No Mercy.
