I work for a radio and television production team in our area of the world, and I can presume what they do. The race is long, and the standby editors pick the highlights in real time apart from the ready-made materials and lay them on the editing computer or machine under the supervision of a segment producer or director. As soon as the race is over, all the video clips, graphics, voiceover, and music (intro, BGM, and outro) are already laid out, and it's ready to render the whole thing. It's just an 8-minute video, rendering would take more or less two minutes, then uploading the finished material (highlights) on RUclips and other platforms. They already have a template for the highlight, so it is easier to lay out all the materials needed. As far as the style, I'm sure they listened to the complaints in the previous years, and the fans are a big part of why they have improved in giving us the highlights on every stage.

We forget that Remco had a near career-ending crash in 2021 as well, took him a couple of years to fully recover back to his best form from that. He's been tremendous this race - we don't expect anyone to keep up with these two giants, and he's not been a long way off. Vingegaard put in a valiant try from the looks of it I think his TVL team kinda disintegrated around him over the past week or so. He led today virtually alone and then Pogi jumped out in front (Pogacar had lots of help from his teammates along the course all day long, not so for Jonas).
Vingegaard suffered from lack of complete preparation, from him physically after his recent crash, and from his TVL team because their training was less than they should have produced for him. His almost solo effort was heroically admirable all things considered. Pogi sprang on Jonas like a shark smelling blood in the water. Pity..

How can Gianetti the doping monster be in charge of Pogacar?
It's about time we address Pogacars remarkable rise since he joined UAE in 2019.
His first season as a junior wasn't anything special, but we have to remember that he was born later in year (September) which is a disadvantage at that age.
In his second season he definitely proved his talent by winning the Giro della Lunigiana.
However, in the entire season he only won two stages and never put any distance on his competitors.
His time trial abilities were less impressive. A 25th and 68th spot.
His first season as a U23 rider wasn't too great either.
He won a few youth jerseys, but didn't record a single stage win.
His second season was definitely better, but still hit and miss.
He won the Tour de l'Avenir, but didn't record a stage win.
He also finished 7th at the WC road race.
    Promising, but not exceptional.
Then he moved to UAE. Its CEO is Mauro Gianetti, possibly the dirtiest rider and sports director in history.
Suddenly he started to win stage races (Algarve, California, and individual mountain stages in the Vuelta against the likes of Valverde and Roglic.
He also became a much better time trialist beating Mohoric and Tratnik in the Slovenian championship.
    Give me a break.

What about Vingo???....before joining Visma he was a common fisherman... Tadej was a prodigy child and was always excelling and later on just raising as a superstar.....

    • @MariaEscribano-p7n
      @MariaEscribano-p7n Месяц назад

@@GaiusPrimusMatius nope not correct at all. Pogacar wasnt a prodigy child. Nothing special before Gianetti hands. Yes Vingegaard was a fisherman and youth rider riding in Denmark which is very flat. He was in the Danish Youth National Team beside being a fisherman. At that time he was Health checked and scored the highest ever lung and heart test. Performing 15% higher anything ever recorded. When he started training mountains specifically he could use his high watt/kg ratio and took alot of records on mountains as a youth rider.

I'm so happy to see Pogacar dispatch this rept1le once and for all! I don't believe Vingo won clean the last 2 TDFs and it nice to see him get put in his place. Pogacar was also entering too many big races in past years and learned from his mistakes.

It's not outclassing someone if that person is not at 100% and almost died earlier this year. If anything, JV's performance was inspiring and remarkable. Pog is having an utterly dominant and almost superhuman year. Looks like he has the Tour wrapped up. Congrats!
