- After the Victory against Tottenham in the FA Cup , City turned their attention to League Matters, with a match against Burnley.
On paper seemingly as routine a home win as you could imagine , and so it proved to be , with City not having to get out of 2nd gear to coast to a 3-1 win

A routine win at home to a side at the bottom of table , and having got a pint very quickly at half time , a pity I got caught up in the disturbance about smoking and vaping in the gents . it wasn't violent or anything like that but I really needed to go!

Used to booze in the Grove on matchdays but it went downhill and was very busy with away fans being allowed in as well. Great to see the Station getting another visit, I need to get down there soon to taste that dreamy creamy pint once more. Excellent vlog as usual Mutton ❤

How come you put the score of the game in the title? I honestly wouldn’t mind you putting only the teams playing and leaving the score out. I prefer this because I don’t follow the sport very closely so I don’t know who wins and the title spoils it.

Am let down Mutty..as requested in a recent reply to get in touch if when in Didsbury. The Guinness is better in the Royal Oak btw..100 yards from the Station on the opposite of the road. Two mins from the tram & always been a City pub 🌟🎶🌏🏆
I do do my best to meet viewers , though I am these days running to such a tight and brutal schedule that I usually have to make last minute plans . Yes I know the Royal Oak is a City pub and there are busses from Didsbury to the Etihad , but the Station has always been welcoming even though everyone knows who I support (I know some United supporters who drink in the Royal Oak as well) and the station isn’t exactly a den of seething United supporters spitting venom.
As for the Guinness , it’s not close . While I wouldn’t say that the station has Guinness as good as in Ireland, it’s hands down the best in Didsbury . I did make an instagram review of the Guinness of the Royal Oak , it wasn’t great , but I’m waiting to go back for an ale as I understand the landlord has a reputation for keeping it well so I can provide balanced reviews .
At the moment for home games , as was the case here I arrived at the Italian 2,5 hours before kickoff as I don’t know where I’ll be going even as close as 3 hours beforehand . When hopefully my schedule clears up a bit later in the season , I’ll publish on my community page where I plan to go pre match , but I also need to be able to film .
