ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

The Tom Hardy sculpt was advertised for the re-release for the Let There Be Carnage film, it wasn't included for the Venom Hot Toys of the first film.
It’s also coming with the Carnage.
You had to get the Deluxe Carnage for the half Eddie Brock head sculpt, but A month or two after they announced Carnage they announced that there would be a newer Venom with accessories from let there be carnage, including the new headsculpt! I pre-ordered the Deluxe Carnage when it was announced (by that time the first Venom was sold out) I knew I would eventually get Venom but I wasn’t expecting to get a brand new figure with different accessories… so now I’ll have two Eddie Brock heads 😂 at-least with the Carnage there’s a display for for a Venom head you don’t use!
Dude, that image of venom and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man is completely fake. The post credit scene is entirely different. I won’t spoil it in case anyone hasn’t seen the movie, but I will say it has nothing to do with Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man or his universe at all

this figure is from the firts movie and its not supposed to come with the tom hardy headsculpt, the tom hardy headcsulpt comes with the re-release of this figure for the let there be carnage movie, the headsculpt is also included with the carnage figure so you dont have to buy another venom just for the headsculpt, you buy the carnage and get a venom bust and the headsculpt

My only complaint with hot toys figures is that their so damn big. It would be nice if they were the same night as the Marvel legends. Or Marvel select figures so that way we could scale them. Other than the scale. Its perfect.

I've only owned one Hot Toy in my life, Wonder Woman. I sold it after six months because I was afraid I was going to break it.
I bought one as a gift for someone else, I think this figures are not for me, maybe for someone who has his life figured out and space available, of course if you really like action figures and like the character also makes sense, if I would ever get one for me it would be Christopher Reeve I think

fyi, I checked it out and the Andrew/venom thing is cliclbate man. it was a Photoshoped picture the dude took the apartment scene from Venom 2 and pasted in a picture of spiderman sitting from the scene where he's in Harry's apartment in TASM2.

Venom's legs looks oddly in-proportionate to his upperbody, especially his arms.

This Venom is kind of small, especially when you have thanos and hulk next to him. hulk's size is way off, he should be be big but not overly huge, he ends up having abomination's height and juggernaut's muscle bound proportions, which is not proper for the hulk. The cinematic version of these 3 characters should be pretty even in terms of height and mass. Venom is 7"4, hulk is 7"5, if anything thanos would be the smallest of the 3, but that hot toys hulk is like 9ft tall. Another thing that bugs me, is that Venom's chest is built perfectly, but his limbs are very thin, almost anorexic, he is supposed to have humanoid proportions, instead, they gave him lanky proportions.
MCU Hulk is around 8' 2" and in the comics is closer to 7' 8"
I think the size difference is fine and does justice to this version of Venom
@@morgydee look at first venom movie, you will see how big he is, almost as big as riot, who is 7"9 and in the final scene, when he eats the guy who harassed Mrs Chen, venom was literally twice bigger than him. In the first avengers movie, I noticed cap and ironman where slightly below hulk's shoulders, and thor is around his shoulders, so the scaling on these venom and hulk figures are way too different. If you seen the hulk vs venom comic, both characters are pretty similar in terms of height and musculature, of course, hulk's slightly bigger, which I'm fine, but is not like he make venom look like a teenager compared to him. Same would be for the movies, even the marvel legends figures are more in scale
