I’m glad you talked about the base. The base is the reason why I preordered the normal one. If I’m spending over 300 dollars for a figure, I better get a quality base with it.
I unfortunately assumed the standard base comes with the special edition figure as when looking at the accessories for it the standard base was still advertised as being included. I’ve paid for the figure in full now as I got the email that it was arriving early in hopes to speed up the process of receiving it. Regretting my decision.

As crazy as it sounds…the new head articulation really makes the figure for me. That head tilt is SO Deadpool…if that makes sense lol. I can’t wait for mine. This is my first Deadpool figure
I was completely shocked when you showed the underside of the base. That is unacceptable for something that needs to be stable enough to hold up a figure in a dynamic pose. And once again, Hot Toys needs to include all standard accessories in a deluxe release, including the regular base!
Yet they claim to be handcrafted. Handcrafted doesn't equate to high quality. Just means it was handcrafted. These figures are way too delicate for 300 Dollars. And there excuse to charge people this much is that they are handcrafted. Sure handcrafted should be worth more but not so much more especially when quality isn't top tier.
I don't think Hot Toys can give us a headsculpt. No Deadpool collectibles, not even Marvel Legends, have had a unmasked sculpt. I don't think Ryan Reynolds is allowing it to happen.
Fun fact, Sideshow updated the release window for this guy, from August-December of this year so looks like the wait won't be as long as Wolverine! Thank you for sharing! Excited to get mine!
Crazy that hot toys had their figure ready for the film and Hasbro won’t have theirs out for a couple months. It’s usually the other way around with an even longer wait for the hot toys.
You’re right he only uses the gold deagles for a few minutes in the movie, but they’re his now. If you see at the post credit scene he still has the gold deagles in his holsters.

I ordered the special addition for the gold guns because I like how they match the gold on the katanas. I love the bright red of his suit. The color makes the character look like he jumped out of the comic book and into the real world. All the different accessories are awesome! 😃 You could never get bored with this figure. After a couple months, you can display him completely different with a totally different expression.
This Deadpool and both of the new wolverines have to be some of the most beautiful hot toys I’ve ever seen. They really went all out for these figures and I love it.

People are now accusing him to be a scammer and fraudster with proof behind their backs, awful conditions where people didn’t have safety regulations in place for a game show, etc. and the main accuser, they sent a cease and desist email basically admitting guilt. The main place where the scamming allegations are coming from are the illegal lotteries in Australia where you can win Lamborghinis, so many people won and it told them they didn’t. The situation is pretty insane. Of course you don’t care about all the allegations if you are a kid like the bulk of his audience, but these are serious claims.
So get this. I had this on a payment plan with sideshow and I watched this and got so excited that I changed it to a single payment and paid it off. Maybe I'll get it soon now. Thanks Justin, really impressive.
This is the first Deadpool I’ve ordered. Never been a fan of the character but loved the films. This figure is so damn nice, and the movie is fantastic to me, can’t wait for it

For the delux it would have been cool to include the push daggers he used in the car fight scene, i known it was for such a short time but they've been on the suit since the first movie 😭
Imagine this guy in 1/4 scale my god it would look so good. Also the tiny daggers could’ve been separate hands if they really tried but with the number of accessories he comes with it’s almost forgivable.
if you pay attention to his suit. When he first wore it in the TVA it was bright red and through the movie till the end it became dark red due to the blood and fightings

I was very surprised when I received a notification that Deadpool was arriving a year before the original date, glad hot toys did that, sometimes when there is too much time between the movie and the figure release I end up cancelling some figures, but I don’t think that will be the case with this Deadpool as he is one of my favorite marvel characters and also he will be my first hot toys Deadpool in the collection, not sure why hot toys didn’t include Ryan Reynolds headsculpt, that would made this release so much solid, can’t wait to get mine
