Toda raba for your cheerful video! It's so clear & helpful. When I watched other Hebrew videos, I get turned off when a whole set of pronouns & variations are thrown at us & I can't remember a single thing. For me, the lesson is memorable when there are at most 3 variations in one video, eg past, present & future tense for one verb for one pronoun. Or 3 pronouns (eg I, you, he) for one verb for one tense. Or 3 verb stems for one pronoun. Hope you can do a video, eg on "I want to, I wanted to, I'll want to". Then show us the 3 variations side by side so we see how the conjugations vary. I may be wrong, but I think the average mind can only absorb that much info in one video. And if the students can remember & apply that little bit, it'll motivate them to keep learning & coming back to you.
Thanks a lot for you nice feedback. I am happy you enjoyed the video. Regarding your interest: the verb to use is "לרצות", root: רצה in paal. I cannot tell you when exactly I will find the time to make a video on that since I am currently recording my online course on Hebrew verbs. That has been on my list for sooo long, I need to get it out NOW ;-) - but that root will be part of the course examples. Maybe with this information I can catch your interest for the online course :-)) . Hebrew energy frequency is enlightenment 700 the reason being the 7 binyamin and each one having 7 subgroups there is some sort of connection
What about the future tense for feminine, is there one.
Hello. Thanks for writing. Can you give me an example? Not sure I understood your question.
I see a lot of your videos here. How do I look for them in order. And how do I find out about your video online courses and how much. Thanks Blanca

Thanks for the great video, can you please explain the difference between יש and ישנו, ישנה,ישנם,ישנן
great question, already noted for one of the next videos
@@HebrewVerbs Amazing, thank you so much!
Yay! First :D
Bonjour, pour résumer, on va utiliser seulement les trois formes היה, היתה et היו pour conjuguer avoir au passé ?
Merci beaucoup pour vos cours ! C'est ce que j'ai trouvé de mieux pour comprendre les bases !
Oui, il y a seulement le masculin singulier, le feminin singulier et le pluriel, toujours en combinaison avec les pronoms possessifs.
Merci :)
Heyy, but what about other pronouns for plural form? are they going to be always Hayu lahem in Past and Eheyu li in Future? (Sorry it's transliterated, cuz I dont have a hebrew keyboard)
I hope I understood your question correctly, yes. It is always the plural or past of the verb to be that you need to form anything around the English verb to have.
Hello, thank you for the video. Then how would we say « I want TO HAVE flowers » ?
I want flowers OR... "I want that there will be flowers" depending on what you mean 😊
Hebrew Verbs Thank you! It’s still a bit confusing but I’ll get used to it eventually !
oh sure. That comes by itself. Every language has its own way of saying things. Israelis also find many English things sooooo confusing, like the basic need for "IS" in "he is"... ;-)))
Hi I am Cuban, is very defaulted my access all day to Internet, how I will can download.
Hola Julián, gracias por visitar mi channel. Hay algunos servicios en Internet que te dejan bajar videos en tu disco duro. Si utilizas tu móvill, seguramente encontrarás una app para eso. ¿Has visto que también existe el mismo video en castellano? saludos, Rut

Thank you for the video. Maybe I am missing something. When I want to say: 'I have the dog.' the equivalent would be 'The dog is to me.' So far so good. In English that makes 'The dog' the subject and 'to me' the indirect object. However, in Hebrew, would I have to say 'יש לי את הכלב' ? ... turning 'the dog' into a direct object rather than the subject. Thus, two objects (direct/indirect); no subject. ... or may I skip the 'את' making 'הכלב' the subject? Thx.
Great question! In Hebrew it is not a direct object. The literal translation is "there is a dog a aivailable to me", so no את
@@HebrewVerbs I could be wrong but I believe you misread the person's question. "I have a dog" is "יש לי כלב", but I believe "I have *the* dog" is indeed "יש לי את הכלב". Is that correct?
ah, yes, now that I read your "translation" of the question ;-) .. yes, correct!
What about feminine singular: I will have a tomato?
for "me" there is no distinction between male and female, that starts with the second person singular, the first person always uses "li".
I hope this answered your question. If I misunderstood, please let me know. :-)
DO YOU HAVE WORKSHEETS AVAILABLE FOR YOUR YOUtUBE LESSON 20/21
Hi there. Thank you for your interest and reaching out to me. I do not have any worksheets other than the workbook with exercises on Hebrew verbs. I m thinking sbout some new formats like online courses but I cannot say yet when those will be ready.
Romanization plz 🙏🏽
Ok. Rewatching this: just woke up and wanna pay more attention to each part from this video.
If יש doesn't have infinitive what is שיהיה ?
Hello Lali, thank you for watching my videos. יש means "there is", and יהיה "there will be". ש + יהיה is "that there will be", but ש cannot stand alone but it only means "that". I hope this answer helped you.
@@HebrewVerbs thank you
The thing on your head. Does that mean you are a distant relative of your prophet Moses? Love & Greetings from Penang Island.West Malaysia
Dear teacher, in the minutes 9:07 it is truely a Hiriq for the Yod or it has to be a Shva??
Hello Michel, my approach is to get people away from nikud, no adult in Israel uses them, also no newspaper does. if you keep wondering about the type of nikud you are making it very hard for yourself. These differntiations you are asking about might be important for Biblical Hebrew, but for Modern Hebrew, in order to really proceed you must forget about nikud on the long run. I am putting the correct nikud to the beest of my knowledge but only as a mere help for pronunciation and easyness to follow. Listening is the best. For this reason I founded sabreTV to get people into the living language.
@@HebrewVerbs Thank you very much, but as beginer and I gve attentio to the pronunciation I was a little bit confused, thank you once more
Just like Russian! Thanks so much
oh really? how interesting!
thanks you made it pretty clear but actually i'm confusing about using (ל+pronouns) as an object for example
הם חייבים לי כסף
they owe me money
can you say
הם חייבים אותי כסף
In Hebrew there is only one way to say it:
הם חייבים לי כסף
It is "owing money TO SOMEBODY, and this translates in Hebrew with
למישהו
Sometimes you fill find that foreign languages use the object differntly than your mother tongue. These little nuts and bolts you will learn over time. Languages have their own logic.
