in pure design, the Mitzutsune monster is my #1. its so beautiful to look at, and the color palette for it is very lovely and meld well. and when you look at the video and pause it at 0:36 the setting sun's golden hue blends well with its colors.
I hate how the ecology's description implies that the Mizutsune is an "uninvited guest". It was there napping before the felynes even got there, they just happened upon it.

I always though that after being captured, monster could be carved by scholars and not like in a haste by a hunter, explaining why you get more materials
in mhw they say captured monsters get taged and released back into the wild. Also same here, watching the fanarts people has done of monsters looking cute made me not wanna kill them anymore, i always try to go for a cap. insect type monsters on the other hand, i always bring fire weapons regardless of weakness to make sure the job is done.

Mizutsune is like a Schrodinger Cat. You never knew what will comes out of their mouth... A refreshing bubble bath, OR... A frickin hydro pressure beam that will cut you in half!!!
So gorgeous! I really wanted this monster to make it in world, but no dice...(world was my introduction into the monster hunter universe, so I was disappointed to not be able to experience some of the variants and sub species from before.)
The Mizutsune is one of my favorite monsters in the whole series and I'm super glad they made it a main monster. Now if only we could get the Gore Magala back...
