Here in northern Germany, parents are often very chilled when it comes to dealing with their children. My parents have lived in a new housing estate for over 30 years and there is a garden club next door with its small garden sheds. We used to walk through there on our own as children in the summer and then played on one of the two playgrounds. Until 10 o'clock in the evening, sometimes. Every now and then my father would come by with the dog. And now and again, parents who were friends and had their own garden would invite us over for a barbecue. In winter, we used to skate on the frozen canal. Now that I live in a small village at the other end of the city, I often see the little children of the neighbors taking the bus to school in the morning or coming home again.
There's a saying :on the one hand ,germans stare-on the other,they don't care!meaning we like watching people, when we're out in the streets,yet not in saunas, on beaches,nude beaches,noone is judging you,might be difficult for people from other cultures to understand, ehen it's ok,and when not.
This shows how different cultures are. As far as sharing toys is concerned, it is a developmental step, the child learns to learn the difference between yours and mine. But also over time, a child learns that it also makes sense to play together with others. As far as walking on a wall is concerned, children learn very quickly, and can also do much more than some overcautious parents think. Also, the whole of life is an experience. If you make a mistake, it can hurt, which also makes a child behave more cautiously. Those who do not have bad experiences often do not see a danger. And somehow nature has also built up a protective mechanism, with small ones a fall is less hard for the body than with increasing age. Even with natural life, it is logical that babies must be fed, why should others find that repulsive. The same is true of dealing with the body in naturism. Many were only brought up with a false image and at most get mental disorders from it. In my opinion, people should not try to build up a different image of themselves, everyone should remain as natural as they are, because this way you don't run the risk of having to pretend something because others expect it.
I think it depends on where you are in Germany. Try this in eastern Germany and the mother(s) will rip you a new one bc you told them that their kids have to ask and should not steal from others... I'm totally on the "You don't have to share if you don't want" side, but I'm the only one. Never met another one who thinks like me about the matter.
German children learned from a young age to handle things by yourself and be independent from the parents. A lot of German children between the age of 5-6 they have to go to school on their own. If its by train, by bus or just straight up walking.

Nobody has to share things, adults never share the car, if i ask 🙂
