To me not being able to edit anything unless you're an edit mode is a nice touch on the tracker mini. It's a safety. And since copying and pasting something is editing it makes logical sense to me that you would have to be in edit mode

It does make sense when you put it that way.

Have been dipping into your channel over the last year as we have much the same gear and tastes it seems. Today I’ve been sat with my Elektrons and my Polyends and trying to decide which I prefer and why...lo and behold, you’ve already done a vid on it. Always interested to hear others opinions, especially yours. Awesome stuff, thanks!

That's awesome, thank you! After getting into Elektron, its honestly been difficult for me to give other sequencers a fair chance. Sure some have additional features, but the tactility of the Elektron options is just unbeatable.

Doremidi FC-3 for the tracker mini) (the FC-3 for everything, I only have one, I want at least one more)... I hope to buy a TM in a few days and will check out the FC-3/TM combo for ease of use...

What I like in trackers like Polyend or M8 that I have visual presentation of melody. It’s like notation. I can visually control a song. In Elektron when I have many patterns it’s hard to understand what happens. There’s no whole picture of a song, it’s adding unnecessary complexity & mess.
