Hi lord oil can be use as coolant aside from lubrication just know when to use it so it will not reach its flash point. Anyway a liquid called cutting oil is normally use at the machineshop as coolant.
Hi Daryl we used the following materials - 1/2Ø sch.40 pipe, 1/8"thk x 2" flat bar, 1/8"thk x 1" x 1" angle bar. We also used 1/4"thk flat bar for mounting the sidecar to the bike.
