a work of Art, great job! amazing. I just ordered this kit my first Trumpeter kit... think I'll be impressed.. be very happy if mine looks half as good as yours :)
Awesome. I havent built a kit in 7 years but I grew up with a love for building primarily aircraft with my Uncle. He is gone now, but would have shit his drawers to see both the qualiity of this kit and your work.
Such a beautiful job on the paint work. 1small problem, this is a Republic bird. Gun bays, gun bay inner panels, wheel wells, {main and rear} inner landing gear panels, interior of AC, NOT PIT,JUST UNDER THE SKIN, YELLOW CHROME. Green chrome is for a Curtiss built bird. They never left the U.S, so they never saw combat. WHAT A BEAUTY! I thought you'd leave the nose clear. You did such a great job on the R-2800! Excellent through and through, detail, paint, decals, just enough weathering, so closely resembling a PTO used bird. Congrats!
Yes beautiful job the way you took your time with the paint work .The one thing that needs a little weathering is the prop blades just a little chrome chipping and weathering
Nice work guy. sorry bout your camera, but it's still a really great video & post. trippy music. I gave a sub & thumbs up. Love watching everyone who shares their techniques, especially painting & shading. thanks
Great work On P-47, good video(bit dark) and would be better if you do some additional lights tough. You get that sorted out and videos keep coming I will subscribe.
all I can say is WOW you did a great job on the model you remind me of David from Plasmo models if you heard of him he likes the same music as well or close to it
Sweet looking Jug! Q: You seem to paint the panels individually and leave black on the edges, correct? Q2: Did you clear coat the silver afterwards? Matti
I build a Revell 1:32 scale model of the Republic P 47 Thunderbolt 50 years ago . I was 12 . I didn't like the kit . To simple and no details. I prefer to scratch build models. Greetings from Sweden!
Can you show us some of your work. I have seen old school, scratch built giant scale RC aircraft. Really nice Bob Violet type 1/6 scale r/c birds. I have never really seen a scratch built styrene model. I don't see how a plastic model hobbyist can out build a descent name-brand kit. But I guess today with 3D printers and home CNC mills and lathes, the home hobbyist can reach levels never dreamed of before.
That is a stunning big old P47. Beautifully built and presented very impressed with the opened up detail. Great Work!
Thank you!

Thank you Bob and those color tips are noted and corrected for the next bird! :)
not enough high voltage wires on the engine.

Very nice indeed
I like the build - but the model itself have too many black holes on the surface
