Super nice work it takes me months to try and do the same thing. I kind of did this with a P47D-30/RA in 1/48 scale. I cut the body panels up and mounted little magnets inside to hold them on. Looked pretty kool when do. I got to really show off my engine and everything in back of it too. Very few people add wiring to gages behind the dashboard.
What a fabulous video, thanks for posting! Dude Please Please wear gloves when you're spraying. Your skin is big sponge able to absorb the chemicals from paint. Jus sayin'. Love and best wishes from Western Australia.
I'm building this kit also at this time. What annoys me is the inaccuracies, wrong foot pedals, placement of tank selector on pit floor, colour call outs, this is a Republic built 47 not a Curtiss. Wow excellent work on the fuse! Wanted to show off all the pluming and R-2800 eh? Looks fantastic! I'll have to check out the rest of your build vids! Congrats on the build so far
Great idea with the metal finish but using black for cockpit instruments never strikes me as good. Scaling colours is a big part of building a SCALED model.

Which glue do you use for final assembly of these parts so the paint etc doesnt get melted. Ive used revell contacta.
how the hell did you build the open fuselage on the left side? Where did you find documentation?

Tell me you’ve got a respirator on, bruh?!?! Fantastic hobby, and work, but it’s not worth blowing your good health.
