Thanks for another beautiful podcast. I was also wondering about the Between the Lines shawl...thanks for breaking it out! It looks great, but I remember howwww lonnnng you were working on it. Quite the chore, but a lovely result :)
Love the chunky mosaic square!!! The shawl looks fantastic, too! I very well remember you working on it. Maybe this winter it will appeal to you more. I also enjoyed the stories of the squares.
Thank you for another fab podcast and for the shawl update. It looks really effective, though I know what you mean about making something beautiful and then realising it doesn’t really fit with your everyday life or style. I’m not a shawl person either - I prefer a scarf or cowl when out and about - but I do have a big crochet shawl which is great for snuggly at home.
I am loving watching your podcasts. Thank you for doing them again, I only started crocheting last year so I am very tempted to go back and watch your videos from the start 😊 each podcast makes me want to start the travelling afghan but I then struggle to choose colours from my stash and it goes back on a to do list 🙈
Loving having you back! I was working on my ‘between the lines’ at the same time as you but gave up, pulled back and have since used one ball in a different shawl but the other colour way is still waiting for inspiration. Enjoying all your projects. Xx
Thank you Jane that’s really kind of you 💖 you are so right I need to block it and hopefully that will help it grow! Watching the video back made me love it a bit more again! X
@@lottieandalbert You absolutely have to block it, I did warn you about it back when you started but I think you may have blocked it out of your mind (see what I did there?!). Unlike the knit version, it requires a very very stern blocking to give it the desired drape and size. The original (from the photo you showed from the After Party booklet) grew, if memory serves, about 20cm in each direction. Basically stretch it to it's absolute limits (being careful to keep that increase edge straight) and if your arms don't ache afterward, you didn't pull hard enough! haha Sorry, I hate to torture you with the blocking after all those stitches, but I definitely think it'll get you the size and feel you are looking for.
Hi, I love the chunky mosaic square it would look great as blanket 😬,love your podcast, thank you 😊
